Here's the situation with Paprika Chadwell Heath: Whether you order a drier dish (bhuna) or a saucier dish (balti) or say, a themed dish emphasising onions and chillies (jalfrezi) you will get the SAME bland, tasteless, runny, oil saturated sauce, no matter what curry you order. So what exactly is the business strategy? Is it to shaft customers who are ordering for the very first time? Or is the strategy to hope that their will be a large enough body of naively faithful customers who have absolutely no idea or cares as to what authentic (and therefore delicious) curries should look or taste like? Hmm...

Ordered last night . Curry had hair in it .. they gave me refund.. never ever again ..

The meal deal was generous but the food was not the most flavoursome. The naan was squishy and gooey and not nice and slightly crispy on the outside. The prawn puree had a bad ratio of filling to bread. The sag aloo was very nice but bad ratio of sag to aloo. Mostly potatoes. The dansak tasted like gravy or standard curry, not particularly sweet or spicy. Was very good for sharing. Just a little disappointed. I've never used this shop before. Perfect if very hungry

The currys and mix grill are amazing. I usually go in and collect the food but this time i opted for delivery. They have great phone manners and are helpful. Food arrived in 20 minz on a busy friday night. Was warm and delicious. A great night thanks to paprika

Waited more than 45 minutes when it arrived it felt piping hot while I was unpacking it all. Then we went to open the rice and there was a long strand of hair and we quickly closed up and called them. I was retching. The person on the phone claimed he didn't understand what I was saying when I asked for the order to he collected ASAP and refunded as we were all feeling too sick to eat now. Eventually someone turned up offering replacement rice stating 'these things happen'. To which I said 'you are a food establishment this should never happen'. He kept trying to push the rice on me I gave him the bag of food and asked for my money, which I had literally handed him cash less than 5 minutes previously. He told me it would be dealt with online as I placed the order through their website but nothing. No call no email nothing. Don't bother ordering from here then obviously don't know much about food hygiene and hair nets!!!

Food was half cooked, I gave them order in bulk and they rushed for everything, Chapati and vegetable everything was half cooked, not eatable. I was giving it to a friend on mine she was moving her house, it was a great insult for me, when I went to the owner , he was not even ready to apologise, so useless

Ordered online, 90 mins to deliver!!! Food was only average, not gunna order from them again.

We've been buying from paprika for some time as they used to be good. The flavours are good, but the food is now always swimming in half a ton of oil. You'll get ridiculously small meat portions compensated for by adding loads onions. Though I like onions, I'm no vegetarian. My wife and I are left fighting over 7 cubes of meat. We have now had enough of throwing our money away to a company that doesn't value it's regular customers.

Food is no longer the same quality as it was. Sauces are watery with a strange taste, rice the same & tasted fishy. I have been a customer since Paprika opened many years ago, always recommended them to everyone & the only Indian I bought from, sadly I wouldn't anymore.

GIVE IT A GO. As a south indian my self I've been through generations of Indian food. I order my weekly takeaway from here and have been ever since I moved to Dagenham. I live by myself and unfortunately can't cook a curry. Flavours take me back and always impressed.

Took almost 2 hours to arrive. Food was poor quality texture and looked like someone puked it.

Just a shame I can't give 0 stars. Called and asked how I would order a particular and followed what I was told. Put the order through on just eat and waited over and hr and half for it to be delivered. What came was nothing like I ordered. When I called I was told I had to wait for owner to call back. Spoke to another guy who told me to come and collect the right order or call just eat for a refund,. I got a refund and feedback left with them directly. Then I get a knock on my door and they seem to have sent me £30 of food that I didn't order. When I called to say not to come near my house or it will be harassment he told me to call the police. Food looked like something I wouldn't even give to my dog and chips onion bhaji and samosas had grease leaking through the package. Going to wait until clay oven re opens so much better.

Behaviour not good. Owner Rofikul shouts with customers or visitors for making any special request after service. Started arguing doing this business for long 14 years bla bla. He thinks himself one man army but when someone reply properly he misbehave. Should avoid this shop, there are lots of restaurants out there.

Lovely food - ordered from this place countless times this year and the food is delicious. Delivery is usually quick. Maybe once or twice it was a little longer than expected but not a huge deal. If you want 20% off make sure you use the website that advertises the 20% off by purchasing online. I unfortunately used a different website after trying the normal one that crashed, thinking they had changed websites. Ended up spending more than I needed to. Spoke to the guy on the phone and unfortunately nothing to do about it. Not really their fault. Not a huge deal as they've been amazing every other time so on this ocassion its fine. Just make sure you use that site with the discount!

Absolute shambles of a restaurant, rude staff and nothing but excuses. Waited 3.5hrs for a no-show. After chasing them several times about my order and asking for a partial refund they decided to cancel the order and just not show up. I give them 0 stars

Ordered paneer balti. Website states, "Cooked with fresh tomatoes, onions, green pepper, herbs, spices & garam masala to give that exotic aroma served in thick sauce" After waiting 90 minutes for delivery, my paneer balti was merely sauce with a few cubes of paneer in it. There was absolutely none of the other stated ingredients.

First time I order a chicken korma and naan it was great. The second time there were literally two pieces of chicken breast in the korma and they were still pink. It also took over an hour and a half to get to me. It wasn’t even peak time nor do I live that far from them.
