Immediately upon entering the restaurant I was struck by the delicious smell of the food. We had been climbing locally at Vauxwall West so were both hungry. We ordered the Fisig Beyaynetu (mixed platter) & Alicha Fitfit (lamb stew). Both were really tasty and a good sized portion. I also tried the homemade honey wine. The owner was very sweet & friendly. Will definitely return to try more dishes! Update 3/11/23 my second visit definitely lived up to expectations. This time we shared a mixed platter which was delicious. Lots of varied flavours & textures. Great service, the owner is lovely.

Great food! I'm no expert but it felt authentically Ethiopian and a new eating experience for us. Great food, a nice welcome and good vegetarian and vegan options.

I am born and raised in Ethiopia also lived in the United States for several years. I can confirm that the food is authentic Ethiopian and has not been westernized. Our server Bisrat was very friendly and the meal was followed by a complementary Ethiopian popcorn 🍿. Great service and food overall.

It's a great place for some authentic Ethiopian food. They serve a good variety of Vegan options, including Injera. The lady incharge was speaking broken English, she was kind , humble and welcoming. Make sure you speak to her slowly so she can understand you completely. We were 3 people and ordered the Injera for 4. We were able to just finish. The Injera can be refilled as needed.

Great injera. I had the vegetarian one. Very laid back. The lady was super nice and welcoming. If you never tried Ethiopian food, here’s the place. Maybe too spicy for some people. I came early and they still served me very quickly.

I got the veggie platter, it was delicious. The presentation left something to be desired, but the food was hot and flavorful. The pace of the place was perfectly African. Do not go if you’re in a rush. Meal time is meant to be enjoyed, and the pace should reflect that. I ordered Ethiopian tea and it was just a tea bag in water. Don’t get me wrong though, the tea was tasty.

Food was amazing, very tasty and lovely variety. We had the Harar special. Drinks really good. If you want an Ethiopian beer go for the Habesha as it was by far the nicer of the two. Partner had honey wine which was very good. Loses a star due to waiting time. Everything took ages, which wasn’t the end of the world but from drinks order to getting drinks took 20 mins and food order to getting food was 45 mins. Was quite busy and the woman serving seemed to be helping in the kitchen as well. Maybe an extra pair of hands would have been helpful. Overall, pretty darn good!

Great place for authentic and tasty Ethiopian food. I've been coming here for many years now and is one of my favourite places. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options as well as meat, plus you can make your injera gluten-free if needed. Totally recommended, best Ethiopian restaurant in London by far!

Went to visit with a friend and my child because we were all craving Ethiopian food but sadly the restaurant and general atmosphere were not great, toilets smelled so bad and were so dirty. But to top it all off we were served a vegetarian combo dish which was off. The dish smelt off from when the waitress was bringing it over so there is no way they missed the smell of it when they dished it out. When we sent it back the lady was acting confused as though we were making it up until we made her smell the dish. To my horror and disappointment she admitted at the end of our visit that the dish was left outside overnight (this happened during a heatwave!!!) hence why it went off and took some money off the bill. But how are you serving customers and especially people’s toddlers food that is clearly off, it goes against so many ethics and health and safety guidelines. I will never set foot there again and if you do just beware of being served dishes that weren’t put in a fridge overnight. Imagine giving your customers and their kids food poisoning just to save some money. Never again.

Amazing place and food! They let us come in and eat even though they were closing and fed us the most amazing food, more variety than other Ethiopian restaurants I’ve visited and soooo so delicious. They made it feel like home. Great prices. So grateful!

Lovely food and hospitality. The portions are huge and the injera is plentiful. Would have liked a more sour injera as everything was quite rich but that's just me being picky. Will be back!

Nice place had the place all to ourselves as we went on random day at 2pm. This was our first time trying Etheopeon food so wanted to know what it tasted like, we went for the Vegan option for 2 people. Lots of unique flavors 🙂 Quick tube ride from central London (we were staying at the Hilton nr euston) Nice vibes too 🙂 would reccomend!

The food and staff were amazing. They kindly offered to wrap my food up to go and I loved the music that played the whole time I was there. 10/10 would recommend. I loved every part of the experience and would go again! Best Ethiopian food in London!
