Great little spot just off of the high street. The comics were great, the host had great energy and played well off of the crowd. Bar service was fast and friendly. Cozy beer garden is a nice space to hang out before the show. Definitely recommend. Will be back!

Absolutely fantastic experience, for a brilliant charity cause run by Aisling Bea & friends. Aside from the specific night, the door staff and bar staff were brilliant. The bar staff were so attentive, even though the pub was heaving. They work as a fantastic team and I didn't have to wait longer than 5 mins for a beer. Recommend this venue 100%!

My favourite comedy club in London. I’ve never been disappointed by a show. You can really sense the passion for what they do in this comedian owned venue.

I liked the comedy and the staff are very friendly. The comedy room as such smells like feet, so could definitely do with some TLC, maybe a thorough cleaning and some deodorant. The room was absolutely packed and not ventilated with no one wearing masks, which I find a bit odd in (post) COVID times, but maybe that's just me, living in a country, where mask wearing is still very much a thing.

One of the most amazing comedy clubs with a cosy and exciting atmosphere. You can see high class acts here closer and more personal than on TV. My girlfriend also did a comedy class here and liked it a lot! Come here and enjoy, you won't regret it! 🥸👌

A very special place, they do "casual" (empty the garden ashtray, please?) on purpose, but the shows? Wow. A privilege to be there every time. Probably one of the best comedy venue in London. If not the best.

Ended up on the waiting list for here and managed to get a seat. Was such an amazing night, MC SiKisa was hilarious and the acts were amazing. Please give Alfie Packman a longer set, he’s amazing!

Great venue and awesome crowds. Been meaning to check out the Bill Murray/Angel Comedy for a while now and had a blast performing here. Friendly staff, great drinks and an intimate space to watch/perform comedy.

This comedy club is an absolute gem! As you arrive the staff were super friendly and made you aware what time the show would start, and you could help yourself to a drink prior. What a great experience, thoroughly enjoyed it. Went to attend a warm up act, which basically means for comedians to practise their work and some solid names who have performed there too. The environment is cosy and just like most comedy clubs you can pick a seat. It's not too far of a walk from Angel station, which is helpful. Will be attending again but really super chilled and a friendly crowd too. See you soon! A***** LDT x

This intimate comedy venue won't be for everyone. It's quick fire laughs at close quarters and a bit rough around the edges. I had a great time and went to the early showing with 5 shorts stints all equally brilliant fun. Excellent value for money if you fancy a good night of comedy without the expense of a premium ticket.

Excellent Friday night comedy venue, where we discovered the brilliant Joe Foster. Definitely a name to look out for! Brilliant team at The Bill Murray, running a super friendly and very efficient operation. We arrived for drinks prior to the show and thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

The Bill Murray turns a compact space into a lively bar and venue with several shows an evening. Working hard to keep tickets extremely affordable you can see top class comedy acts for tiny sums of money.

... Went to see the wonderfully talented Lucy Beaumont this afternoon, such an incredible show. Lucy's down to earth East Yorkshire humour, joyful charm, irresistible accent and the usual banter with me on the front row made for a very enjoyable early evening. Situated on the corner of Queen's Head Street, the venue boasts a lovely intimate atmosphere, pub and friendly staff. Full of history and character, The Angel Comedy Club is well worth a visit if you are in London on events night...and it's situated a mere 15 minute walk from Angel Tube Station!

I went to the paid comedy show (£9) at 5pm on a Saturday. There were 5 stand up comedy acts and an MC who did some crowd work in between sets. It lasted about 1.5 hours. There were some funny moments to the sets, but most were marred by either excessive swearing or incredibly crude sexual bits to their acts. These were just awkward and not funny in my opinion. So I would recommend skipping this show if you don't find excessive swearing and very crude humour funny. I found the free comedy show at The Camden Head much better and funnier.

It's OK. Very cramped. The guy working the bar ignored me even though it was me and 1 other customer, he served her and then walked away, came back and then served someone new who had come in after myself and stood next to me?.. Odd behaviour. The comedy was fair but awkward at times, I prefer more renowned venues. Toilets are cramped and dirty, some lad locked himself in the men's during the break doing coke which was great for the massive que..

Very affordable comedy gigs in an intimate, no frills setting. Staff were very friendly and efficient. For a small venue, expect a queue for the Ladies loos (what's new 😭) at intermission, but that's the only con. A nice place to see comedians at different stages in their careers. Go with a good attitude and enjoy

Amazing show, couldn't stop laughing ! They are doing a Spanish night once a month now that is really fun and interactive. Definitely a place worth going if you want to have a good laugh with a nice ambience and good drinks !

This pub is great for comedy; I had a great time watching Aurie Styla last night. It's a shame the seating area for drinks is so small, though and disappointing that they don't serve food - just some basic bar snacks.

Best place ever! the staff is just lovely, I came with the group of autistic young people I facilitate weekly, and the man at the door was extremely nice to all of us, and especially to one of my group members who was anxious about his ticket. We also lost a freedom pass and the bar staff was extremely lovely and had picked it up for us, so we found it straight away! Not to mention the comedy show, Jo Griffin was simply hilarious and actually, most of my group members interacted with her the whole night and had a blast! We will be back, thank you for a wonderful first experience at a comedy club!

A beautiful comedy club that it’s always a pleasure to perform at. Thank you. Infinitely funnier than the absolute death-like farce that is trying to order two sausages and mash at Mum’s Comfort Food, Edinburgh, which appears to be an experiment to see if placing uniforms on the criminally insane can produce viable waitstaff.

Nice venue, with nice vibes and nice staff. However, I had to leave early due to it being too small, loud, and busy. So that is something to bear in mind if you also struggle with sensory issues. I also had anticipated it being quite a casual, informal vibe however, the sound engineer got up multiple times to ask us to be quiet when we were laughing along and engaging with the comedy. So that also confused me, but maybe this is because I am not a regular at this kind of show and misinterpreted the vibe. The result however, left me feeling like a naughty school kid packed in on a row of squeaky chairs unable to move, talk, or catch a breather, because as soon as the interval starts everyone is hectically running to the loo and bar and then you are being ushered back inside. I'm sure everyone else there had a great night. But, if you're a weirdo like me be prepared to have to get up and leave before the interval if possible, bring earplugs, and still maybe struggle.

Lovely space, daily shows, amazing hosts, great comedians, great laughs!!! One of the best comedy clubs in town, highly recommended.

Overall enjoyable - we quite enjoyed the comedy and the venue is cosy (if not particularly comfortable). We were a group of 5, and one of our friends had booked a ticket for the wrong time (his error). But instead of allowing him to join us, the staff prioritised saving seats for potential walk ins on the door. Left a bit of a sad taste in our mouths - of course the team want to sell tickets, but felt a bit cynical that they would prioritise maximising ££ over letting a paying comedy fan in and splitting up a group! X Also toilets are pretty gross 😂😷

Solid place! Came here on a Sunday night (1st May 2022) and loved the atmosphere and vibe. The comedians were great, especially the MC/host (Wes). Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a good laugh

Loads of great acts come through. I love seeing the work in progress shows.

I went to see the show last night -two stars go solely for the last two acts as both comedians were really funny. The reason why I’m not giving more stars is that there was no any covid policy in place and they had the full house. Two audience members who were wearing masks were ridiculed by one of the comedians. The entertainment industry is just recovering from the pandemic and it’s a big step forward for the venues to operate with no restrictions on the number of tickets they’re aloud to sell. Compared to what we had, requiring all audience members wearing masks is a very small effort the venues and I hope this small comedy club follows the government guidelines in their future shows.

Great night of comedy here, VERY intimate setting (in the sense I could feel the person's breath behind me) but this adds to the small and quirky atmosphere. The room could do with a bit of air con or ventilation as it was a bit stuffy/slightly smelly as it was packed. Tickets were very reasonable in comparison to other comedy clubs in London. Would visit again!

The open mic is always a little chancing it. True acts are great! Greatly intimate place, nice beers, very very nice staff! Fair comedy prices.

I can’t believe it took me nearly 10 years to attend a comedy show in this place. Absolutely amazing, the quality of the comedian was fantastic! Looking forward to coming back next week. (Great beers selection too :)

Excellent venue, brilliant staff and top light entertainers. The MC was the best I've seen. A real master. Even managed to get a strong bin bag of straw for my Leeks. Highly recommend.

Great joint. We saw a variety comedy show here and it was absolutely brilliant. Great fun and good laughs were had. Staff were friendly to, really great night out.

Excellent night, great talent. We didn't realise that it was either first come first served or pre-book for the comedy, but they squeezed us in. My friend list his wallet and someone had found it and it was behind the bar. Great venue, great people.

Stand up Philosophy nights are my absolute favorite! Every time it is a different topic and comedians do a great job of getting the crowd pumped!

Small cosy theatre, a bit cramped, but watched Danny Bhoy and he was effing fantastic. Laughed for the full hour. Brilliant. Also, drinks very reasonably priced.
