Great place, ethnic enclave in the city of Westminster London. Near Soho where you can enjoy of pubs. Amazing Chinese atmosphere where you can fill yourself like in China, can have a nice food and drinks. Just great for spending time, very different from others areas in London. Must visit spot if you are tourists. Very recommended, come and enjoy the vibe of China.

Every city has their own china town. A mark that City is a place for diversity of culture and ethnicity. China town in London represent this diversity. If you love food, you should come here and try china cuisine. They are plenty of them here

I have visited a lot of Chinatown in many cities. The Chinatown in London is the best one I like the most. Better than San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. The Chinatown in London is clean and organized, and the stores and restaurants are better than any Chinatown I have visited. I enjoyed walking around in Chinatown in London.

Very colourful beautiful place. There are many restaurants all over the place displaying food in the windows, so enticing! and some shops where you can find traditional food and souvenirs. There's always queues in the restaurants at weekends, so be aware if you are very hungr, to arrive early or book in advance.

Interesting very lively place. We ate at three different restaurants over 5 days. For the most part, we enjoyed everything we got at each of the restaurants. Great place to try some new things. Not your typical Chinese takeout places.

Cool Chinatown in London! Lots of restaurants with all sorts of Chinese cuisine and desserts. Lots of boba places and bakeries. Don’t go here on Christmas Day or major holidays - most of the restaurants that are open will charge you double the price

Very nice place. Many shops not only Chinese but also many Korean and Japanese. The bubble tea is awesome. Crowded and bustling but I like that. However some food there is somewhat too pricey

What a place! Delicious smells fill the air as you walk through the decorated streets. The energy China Town has is second to none. With so much variety, you can't go wrong. This isn't my first visit, and it definitely won't be my last!

A lot of Chinese here. The street is a bit dirty. Foods here taste like they should be in Taiwan or China. Japanese cakes are delicious too. However, this area outside China Town has a lot to be discovered, tons of bars, nice shops. You would like to hanging around.

Well worth a walk through. It feels like you are in another country. We had a really good buffet lunch. Ensure you have cash, the business's are predominantly cash only, there are cash machines I noticed so not hard to get. I preferred to use cash so no hardship for me.

I love it here. Vibrant and full of culture. The lanterns and street displays always look great. Some restaurants are very expensive but if you are on a budget and want typical dishes found in England, try Mr Wu's.

Chinatown in London's Soho (between Leicester Square and Shaftesbury Avenue) is a vibrant neighborhood that celebrates the Chinese culture. The streets are lined with all far eastern restaurants, supermarkets, and shops, offering a wide variety of traditional and modern Chinese goods. Commonly packed by tourists and locals seeking oriental food and frequently you'll have to wait patiently in queues before the popular restaurants. I can get overcrowded on special events such as chinese new year - so plan your visit ahead. Chinatown in London's Soho offers a unique blend of culture, cuisine, and history for everyone.

Had an amazing weekend exploring London's Chinatown! The vibrant atmosphere and diverse cultural experiences made it truly memorable. We strolled through the charming streets, discovering various hotels and landmarks. The highlight was undoubtedly the incredible food experience – we found a gem offering unlimited food for just £15 per person! The flavors were authentic, and the variety was outstanding. A must-visit spot for any food enthusiast exploring Chinatown. Can't wait to return! 🍜🥟🏮

My visit to Chinatown was delightful, with vibrant Chinese markets, diverse shopping districts, and authentic restaurants that truly immersed me in the cultural experience. The atmosphere made me feel like I was in China itself. However, a downside was the occasional unpleasant smell in some markets. Navigating by car proved challenging due to limited parking, making public transport a more convenient option, despite the pricey £10 per hour car park in Chinatown.

Must visit place if you love to try Chinese foods. Too crowded, need to wait for long time in peak hours to dine-in in any restaurants there. If you take away the food, it's quick and cheaper compared to din-in

Small China in the middle of London. Nice restaurants, but they cut the size of portions in restaurants in comparison to 3 years ago (my last visit). But very nice to see. Lots of good shops. Try chinese jasmine tea in restaurants.

I've never been to China, so I don't know what it's like. Still, I don't think everywhere is like Chinatown, but I loved it. The atmosphere was great, the food and the decorations too. I even found my favorite algae chips in one store. I can only recommend it.

It was clear a happenstance to being in London’s Chinatown! Because it was raining in London( again 😅))) and we just jumped on the first bus - and get there, and we didn't regret about that - London’s Chinatown is an amazing, very bright and impressive place, almost in the heart of London - Piccadilly Circus just around a corner, a lot of tiny Chinese cafe and restaurants, a lot of smiling Chinese, red Chinese lanterns everywhere.. Just walk around and about - you will not regret )))❤️👍🏻

A very nice place to visit in london. Some great options for food. I would suggest eating at some of the more local places rather than the more expensive restaurants for a more authentic taste. I would also suggest coming in the evening to see the lanterns light up the streets of China town. Quite a view and not to be missed! Helpful advice: Take some cash with you, there is only one HSBC ATM which is out of cash most days, or has massive queues. Some places only take cash.

Always busy neighborhood in central London, close to theatre district and Piccadilly. Anything oriental can be found here and restaurants are usually open till late. Car park available in Newport court as added bonus. Unmissable.

A vibrant vista with a unique cultural mix. The market here is always a treat, brimming with an array of enticing food stalls. The authentic Asian souvenirs are quite a steal. It can get crowded, but it’s part of the charm. Care for a little hustle and bustle? This is your place. The visually striking oriental architecture is a bonus. Found some great bubble tea spots too!

Visiting Chinatown is always a delight. I love the colours and atmosphere! Plus, there are many great shops and restaurants. It isn't the least expensive place to eat in the city, but the experience is so worth the price. I particularly love the sweets shops that sell various treats and yummy breads! Overall, I highly recommend stopping here during a trip to London - it's definitely worth a visit, even if you just walk through the area once.

Largest Chinatown in U.K. as well as restaurants there are tea shops and supermarkets among many Chinese businesses. There are a fantastic r number of dim sum restaurants and you’ll find authentic Chinese ingredients in the supermarkets. It’s easy to find China Town off Shaftesbury Avenue as the streets are festooned with red Chinese lanterns and decorations!

Loved visiting this part of town while in London! Amazing selection of food vendors and restaurants to choose from! We opted for one without outdoor seating and heat lamps and it was worth the stop! They have a Cocoa ichiban nearby too!

More recently than ever you will find that Londons Chinatown has attracted many people from different backgrounds as people from all over come to experience the delicious Asian food and drink available here. I would recommend grabbing a few friends and doing a short food crawl sampling different foods from different places as we did, you won't regret the experience. Definitely worth a visit.

Very busy. Very pretty lanterns cant miss it. Lots to eat. You can tell the popular places as they have the longest queues. Gets crowded at peak times would avoid if you dont like congestion. Go out of holidays on a typical work/ school/ weekday might be less crowded.

Must come for anyone who visits London. A bustling place with great food. For me it's about the 4 seasons roast duck and rice.... its simply delish!

  • 4/5 MukbangClub 2 years ago on Google
It is the largest Chinatown in Europe and is located in the southern area of Shaftesbury Avenue, the southern boundary of Soho. London is one of the most visited places in the international city of London. Dozens of Chinese restaurants with Chinese signs are lined up around Gerrard Street, decorated with colorful Chinese gates, and supermarkets, banks, and souvenir shops are also open. Lisle Street, which runs east to west with Gerrard Street, also has many Chinese restaurants. Like Chinatown, in restaurants and supermarkets, most people communicate in Chinese rather than English. Chinese characters are also written on the road signs, and you can see so many Chinese people that you don't know if they are Chinese or British.

I loved Chinatown. Very unique area if London. Many excellent restaurants to choose from for an enjoyable gastronomic experience. The atmosphere is hectic but yet lovely. It's always enjoyable to walk through Chinatown!

  • 3/5 Joy K. 1 year ago on Google
Crowded and full of tacky restaurants inside. However, it does give me a feeling of old China. You can find some Chinese/Taiwanese brands there, chains are often more reliable, but some of them are unbelievably overpriced (like 鮮芋仙 from Taiwan) I'll recommend a bakery here called 'Chinatown bakery' (唐人餅家)

  • 4/5 Shirin K. 1 year ago on Google
Chinatown is absolutely beautiful, and the ambiance and culture is amazing. We wandered around quite a bit and found loads of food stalls and shops to visit, we could’ve spend hours there. The one qualm i have about chinatown is that it is quite expensive. We got a simple lunch for 2 people and it cost us £30!! But we had some amazing food and made some great memories, which is whats most important. Overall, i highly recommend this amazing place.

Chinatown, a small town in Central London, gives a feeling of China inhabited by mostly Chinese people. If you have ever wished you could visit China, this place is for you as there’s many Chinese restaurants and takeaways. The gate and street lights reflect traditional Chinese designs

A really nice place to visit, with all the lanterns across the pavements. We had lunch in a really nice restaurant. £10.00 a head, Chinese buffet. Toilets were nice and clean.

  • 5/5 Alexandra M. 1 year ago on Google
It was fun to find it. Tried to find the restaurant I had seen a YouTube food personality had eaten at, but couldn't. Still it was enjoyable to walk around and see how vibrant the community is.

  • 3/5 Johanna G. 5 months ago on Google
Over hyped. Cool stuff lights in the sky, but otherwise the architecture was not that different from the rest of London. There were cool shops with things from Asia and Asian food. Nice to have been there but nothing to see again. Smaller than expected.
