After
visiting
London
a
few
times
my
son
finally
got
his
wish
to
visit
Hamleys
and
from
his
perspective
it
was
VERY
impressive.
The
sheer
size
of
the
store
alone
put
a
smile
on
his
face.
But
an
11
year
old
is
easily
pleased
and
you
can
look
on
the
website
for
the
store
info.
I
consider
it
my
job
to
tell
it
like
it
is.
Before
visiting
please
be
aware
of
a
few
facts
that
aren’t
so
widely
advertised.
*
Theres
every
chance
you
will
have
to
queue
just
to
enter
the
store.
*
The
queue
is
unpleasant,
poorly
thought
out
and
unpleasantly
managed.
*
Once
inside,
the
staff
are
not
particularly
pleasant,
child
friendly
or
helpful.
*
The
store
is
NOT
interactive
in
any
respect,
in
fact
children
are
discouraged
from
touching
displays.
*
There
are
no
workshops,
areas
to
encourage
play
or
demonstrations
in-store.
*
The
toys
are
well
displayed
according
to
brand,
type
of
toy
etc.
and
they
have
an
excellent
range
of
toys.
*
My
11
year
old
quickly
tired
of
“window
shopping”
after
he
had
found
the
toy
he
wanted
and
had
most
fun
posing
for
the
camera
next
to
his
favourite
displays.
*
In
summary
its
not
an
attraction
despite
the
hype
-
its
simply
a
large
toy
shop.
