While the location isn't bad (10 minute walk from the nearest train station, with a direct connection to Central London) the good things end there. This hotel is just disgusting and it just makes me wonder when this room was cleaned for more than 40 consecutive seconds. - You will never be alone! Even when booking solo the hotel has arranged company for you. Unfortunately for you, the guest, these are in the form of bugs (they look suspiciously similar to bed bugs) - Good thing is that you can immediately kill these bugs with a scorching hot shower, given that your body will actually be okay with that (the shower temperature can either be uncomfortably hot or dangerously hot). Although a genuinely impressive amount of limescale has ensured you won't get burned all at once ;-) - Trash from the previous guests isn't cleaned up properly. Meaning that if you fancy a snack you need to look no further than the drawers of corner of your room! I can go on for a while and by all means I should. This place deserves every 1 star review it receives. But after all this I contacted the booking agency to see what could be done to fix the impressive amount of issues with this room. Unfortunately the hotel didn't respond to any of their calls / emails and refused to come up with a solution. You might want to think twice or thrice before booking here.

After we spent two nights in this hotel, we really have to say, the hotel is disgusting! It was a horrible experience to sleep in these terribly dirty rooms! Everywhere we looked, we just saw dust and dirt! The smell in one of the bathrooms was an imposition, it stunk disgustingly of rotten eggs! Additionally, there were strange stains on the mattress and the bathroom doors, as well as all surfaces were completely dirty - really awful! Every pound we paid was a waste of money, you should really think about giving all your guests their money back! Also the walls are in terrible condition, as well as the beds!!!

The most repulsive place I have ever stayed. Paper thin walls (could hear everything in the rooms next to us), absolutely filthy rooms covered in dirt/dust/old food, everything stank of curry, the bed is so uncomfortable and pillows were so hard sleeping on a brick would have been more comfortable. Crusty bathroom with towels that reeked of old food. I would say definitely avoid this place.

The most disgusting “hotel” I have ever seen. An abandoned pub in a council estate with rooms that are permanently occupied by homeless people. The rooms aren’t cleaned between visitors. Hair everywhere and a mouldy bathroom. I think the furniture has been picked up from the dump too.

I stayed here a few days, initially thought hey it's not that bad because of the price till I decided to be inquisitive about an insect on a wall today while working on my computer, I killed it and it contained fresh blood, thats when I looked it up and realized that was a bedbug, I had never seen one in over 3 decades of my life. I am so disgusted that rooms are infested with bed bugs. I literally hate myself for coming to this place. Facility management literally does not exist. Why does the council even let them operate in the first place. I am so irritated.

Absolutely appalling! My partner had this room booked while working away and it was actually disgusting what I saw while on the phone to him. The mattress was covered in hair, dust and strange stains. There was dust, dead skin and hair on the actual bed frame itself. Every surface was covered in dust, every draw had spilled food and dust and hair in. The shower was mouldy, when he arrived the crusty bath towel was on the bathroom floor. There was stains all over the quilt cover and there was random marks all over the bathroom door. The skirting boards were literally falling off the wall. Even if it is £60 a night in London, it isn’t even worth £6!! Shocking! A crack den is probably cleaner! Sort it out you tramps!

It felt like entering the building of human trafficking. Spent 2 minutes there and made noise. Did not even have to ask for a refund, our reaction to this inhumanr environment said it all. Absolutely 9ut of this world. I wonder what happens in the basement. All local authorities should investigate and i will report this dark, nasty place to all relevant public bodies. If it is for homeless the streets ais a cleaner place. This aint over...time someone dealt with this!!!!!

Booked for three night only stayed for two. Room was tidy but not clean. Bits of old food and biscuits were under the bedside table. Mouldy bathroom, really thin walls made it hard to sleep. The toilet blocked and it took 6 hours and 2 follow up calls before it was sorted. And finally a member of staff mistakendly entered my room. I know it's supposed to be cheap and cheerful but nothing cheerful about it.

This is the worst hotel I've been to in my life. First, everything stinks of Indian. Second, you can hear everything through the walls, every single sound. and the biggest point is that everything is dirty. everything was dirty when i went into the room and my sheets were unwashed and there was blood from the last hotel visitor without me noticing it. In addition, next to the heating there was a toilet paper from the last hotel visitor with blood inside. Believe me the hotel is disaster.

Hell on earth you’d be better off sleeping rough , the local dump will be cleaner. It’s like sleeping/staying in a dirty curry house !! Avoid at ALL COSTS

This is by far the worst hotel i have ever been to. When we arrived at the door, the whole place seemed abandoned. There was no answer when we rung the bell, the three numbers written on a note by the door were all unresponsive. We eventually got a hold of someone through the booking email, and finally a man opened the door. The room was disgusting. Everything was covered in dust, it clearly had not been cleaned properly for weeks. The wallpaper was peeling of the wall. The bathroom was full of miscolouring, cracked tiles and cobwebs. There was a makeshift cabinet, loosly put together. The quality of the room was just poor, which could have been fine for one night, if it had at least been clean. My girlfriend and I immediatly booked a different room at a different hotel and got out of there ASAP

I was not at all impressed with this hotel in the least. It was only booked at the last minute because the hotel I wanted was fully booked. Firstly, there was no reception or friendly greeting. I had to ring the doorbell and speak through the doorbell camera. I was told to hang on a bit. I was left standing on the doorstep wondering what next. I was lucky that someone who was occupying and was known to then person I spoke to came by who helped me to get in and provided me with the key to my room. I was not at all impressed with the room. I had booked a twin room but was given a family room where there were two separate doors to enter as there was a partition between the single and double room. You also had to push the door very hard to enter as the lock was jammed. The room was clearly in need of a good deep clean. There was a small kitchenette area - the cupboards and worktop hadn’t been cleaned in ages. There were no bins for rubbish anywhere. There was a double and single bed. I slept on the single bed which had hairs on the sheet. I had to give it a proper dusting off. The room was full of dust and crumbs on the chairs, table and furniture. The curtains were crushed up and in need of straightening out. The back door was left open - I was on the ground floor. When I tried to call reception there was no answer. Then I got a call from a mobile number from somebody who claimed to work there. When I mentioned the back door was open, he said it was okay because no-one could open the door from outside. However, I did not feel safe and asked why the door wasn’t locked from the inside. He said somebody must have forgotten to lock the door. He said I was safe. I had to put a chair in front of the door for extra security. The walls were very thin and damaged in places. I was unable to sleep as the person next door was snoring throughout the night which disturbed me. The laminate floor was dirty and sticky. I found a chicken bone on the floor. The only good thing was the central heating which was working properly and provided warmth. I only spent one night but I was not comfortable at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It seemed more like a bed and breakfast set up for homeless people. The location did not seem at all safe. It was in the middle of a big council estate. 👎

This has nothing to do with the rooms, but earlier this night there was a medical emergency with someone staying here and o was passing nearby, we helped the man and got an ambulance called,it was pretty bad and when I spoke to them they said "we will see if someone's there and send them" at 9 o clock at night I thought someone would be in, nobody showed up, the ambulance came and went and everything was sorted and they didn't show, if that is the attitude they want to use then I dont think you should book here

Was pretty mortified by the 1 star reviews here but stayed this weekend and the (new maybe?) Owners have obviously responded. The room was clean. The bathroom looked newly fitted and all in all the stay met expectations. I Agree that walls were a bit thin and the curtains and blankets were too and somewhat subtracted from the stay but overall £50 for a night in London on a Fri . One should not expect the ritz.

This hotel was definitely a 3 star experience. We didn’t originally book here but we were rebooked by another hotel who were unable to accommodate us. Both hotels looked after our booking so that we had a room to our requirements and were able to arrive at our stated time. The room was basic but had the standard en suite facilities. I didn’t fancy using the shower. We could have done with another pillow each. But if you have stayed in dodgy hotels abroad you would certainly still give this 3 stars.
