Varying habitats in an enclosed area defined by man-made channelled water, streams, ponds and rills. Tranquil here wandering along the defined paths through the differing habitats amidst the rich diversity and density of flora. A bunnyrama. A designated Site of Special Scientific Interest and bound to appeal to those of an entomological bent. To the layman, it’s just all too beautiful.

Beautiful and huge park! I recommend bringing your own food. There's a lot to see and no much to eat. Go to the loo beforehand, otherwise, finding a loo is challenging.

Two lovely areas in Bushy Park one has the car park and the Pheasantry Cafe and therefore more people, the other can be reached by walking from the Pheasantry and exiting by the gate at the far end then across a track to another gate to the other half of the gardens with the Waterhouse Pond. The Parks team have recently done some amazing work to remove the undergrowth and restore the ponds, streams and the paths that go through both gardens. Information and directions can be obtained from the information centre next to the car park, check for opening times though. There are maps and boards in this area if it is shut. My favourite walk is next to the River Longford that borders the Waterhouse Gardens where you really get a sense of the wildlife and trees with smaller water channels coming from the main stream.

This is a nice garden area in Bushy Park which has different things to see through out the year. It also has a cafe and toilets.

Saturday 17th September - 12:30 I often go for walks around Bushy Park but have never gone into The Woodlands Garden. Is so lovely; I thought it was peaceful walking around Bushy Park but The Woodlands Gardens are so much more. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind the cyclist and I love the dogs I encounter on my walks but bikes and dogs (except guide dogs) are not permitted in the gardens. I only walked around a small part of it but I will definitely explore more next time I’m there.

I recently heard about Woodland Gardens and decided to pay a visit. As soon as I arrived, I was struck by the peacefulness and serenity of the place. The gardens were not overcrowded, which allowed me to take my time and fully appreciate the beauty of nature that surrounded me. One of the highlights of my visit was the chance to see the deer that roam freely throughout the park. Watching these majestic animals in their natural habitat was truly awe-inspiring, and I found myself spending a lot of time observing them. The park itself is a true gem, with a variety of natural habitats to explore, including wetlands, meadows, and forests. Each area had its own unique character, and I enjoyed wandering through them all and taking in the sights and sounds of the natural world. One of the things that I appreciated most about Woodland Gardens was the free parking. It made it easy for me to get there without having to worry about additional expenses, which is always a plus. Overall, my visit to Woodland Gardens was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing escape into nature. The park's beauty and tranquility make it a true hidden gem, and I look forward to visiting again in the future

Great for littering, destructive children. Yet no dogs allowed. The hypocrisy.

I come to these gardens often. They are absolutely stunning all year round, very friendly wildlife. Great spot for a picnic!

Lovely place to walk. Though the gardens don't allow dogs. Bushy park that surrounds is great for dog walkers . Beautiful place to visit especially in summer.

Amazing park! I cannot believe we have been so many times in Bushy Park but never in this area! Everything was beautiful! The pond, the wildlife (friendly squirrels coming to eat food from your hands everywhere). The autumn trees and wonderfully coloured leaves were gorgeous.
