This place is bursting with happy👨‍👩‍👧‍👧🧑‍🧒‍🧒🧑‍🧒🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 families having a fabulous 🥳time. Bring ear plugs, it's noisy. 🤣 # definitely book your bowling 🎳 lane on arrival if u haven't already pre booked to avoid disappointment. 😟

Had a quick outing their with my 4 year old (his first time) and my wife. It was good fun and wished we could have stayed for longer. 3 games is good value.

Hidden gem, my partner and I went for a night of bowling. We was pleasantly impressed of the facilities and atmosphere we enjoyed ourselves, we will be returning. If you do come while the construction still going the car park is round the back of the building towards A3 first turning.

Saturday morning, booked on arrival. Clean premises, well maintained. A lane with the barriers lowered was provided. The computer was set up on our arrival and we began immediately. Prices seem somewhat high, particularly for children with few offers for mornings. Emergency Services discounts also unavailable on weekends. My daughter had a great time and the ambience was good - though some music would have helped.

[Visited in February 2022] I had a fun afternoon at Hollywood Bowl with my 2 children. We booked a couple of games online in advance. The neon-lit lanes create a nice atmosphere. It was easy to add the players to the games using the lane console - and the lane operated perfectly. My only minor niggle was the lack of spare big bowling balls but it was quite busy when we were there. The kids enjoyed playing on the arcade machines after we finished bowling. Free car park.

Nice setup much improved lanes, like the lighting and the setup of lanes. Staff were friendly and really helpful when our rack machine was working very slowly. They quickly repaired it with no stopping of the game. We will definitely be back...not just because my kids want to beat their Dad!

The children enjoyed it and the venue is quite big, but service is a bit chaotic. Took quite a while for the food to arrive and so the children were starting to get restless. We also had to remind them to bring the included slush puppies, but overall it was enjoyable.

Nice place where you can bond with your colleagues or your friends. Lovely place for a birthday party, If you do get a ticket in advance ensure that the whole party is there otherwise you will lose the allocated slot. Staff over here are always helpful. It has a mini kitchen and bar.

Very good bowling place but due to road works. Follow their email directing or you might end up late. Avoid weekends if you don't want too many people/ children/ families. Also buy your tickets and meals/ drinks in advance. If you're a bowler. You really don't want to waste time and energy chasing drinks/ meals while there. They have sufficient parking for car drivers but it's also 2 minutes walk from tolworth Station. All the best everyone.

Great place to just relax and bowl. Highly recommend it and it has a nice little arcade and bar if anyone is interested! We celebrated a birthday there so we pre booked a lane

Absolutely massive bowling alley with a lot of lanes, arcade games, food and drink, and what I’d think is ample parking underneath the facility.

  • 4/5 Craig O. 4 months ago on Google • 38 reviews
Bowling experience is good with reliable equipment and digital scoring. Their pricing is odd as it is different from what you first select on the website, seems to be demand based. Drinks a little pricey but that’s where they make the money - bar with alcohol soft drinks snacks and slushes and milkshakes Food is disappointing but kids will eat it Beware the arcade money hovers Staff are helpful. Free parking underneath building but don’t leave valuables on show or bikes on car racks (could have been an isolated experience of a friend)

The bowling Arena is quite good, their parking area is a little too filthy though, but the staff are polite.

We’ve regularly been going bowling here for years and have celebrated our kid’s birthday here at least on one occasion. They are almost always busy, yet their staff do their best to help out and ensure a good time. Good selection at the bar and reasonably priced. We don’t bother much with the food - it’s all average tasting but then again - it’s a bowling alley not a fine dining restaurant! Parking is the only real issue I’d call out here - the bays are all narrow and at busy times you may have to circle a couple of times before you get a slot. On one occasion we were late by ten minutes getting there and the staff said not to worry and go ahead and bowl but failed to tell us that our session would end an hour after we were originally meant to begin. The game stopped just as we were playing our eighth round and there was no way to reinstate our game. After complaining to the staff on duty they made good on our game and offered us vouchers to come back again and play another day as they were booked solid and had no lanes available for the next few hours. Overall continues to be our favourite local bowling alley and one that we’d recommend.

Amazing venue was extremely busy I was dissatisfied when first arriving but it was soon rectified by the amazing member of staff called Tess! She was quick to get us some drinks and assist in anything we needed and even molly gave us a print out of our score sheet when the game was done! I thought I would be leaving a bad review at first but staff did amazing handling the busy period and we had a fab time

The place is good with bowling and arcade games however the service was not good , we had a birtbday party to attend, needed some cutlery and few bits and bobs, found it hard to spot someone who works there, once we did after noting down what we needed, the person would disappear and forget about it , we had to ask a couple others before we actually were served. Not a pleasant experience.

Great place to go with friends! We went with 5-6yr olds and they had such a fun time bowling. No need to change into bowling shoes! Arcades were good fun too, not too long waiting for games. Food - burgers, chips etc with a good selection for children plus vegetarian options. Happy to come back again.

  • 4/5 Oliver A. 4 months ago on Google
Great place to have a party at although would recommend attempting to pre book lanes or turning up early as it was very busy during the school holidays all the way through till we left at 8pm.

  • 3/5 Padraic K. 9 months ago on Google
Had a good laugh with the family here, no problems with setting up everything was very straightforward. My only issues were that the toilets are disgusting, I had to clean a toilet before my child used it the others were just gross 🤢. Another annoyance was that there were no bowling balls on the racks except for extra small, all the balls were in the units by every alley so we had to hunt for bowling balls. I certainly wouldn't eat here everywhere looks really run down and dirty.

The building & decor has improved a lot from when I worked there over a decade ago! The atmosphere on a Saturday was good and lively but wasn't too packed. The arcade games were fun for my 3 year old & he liked the blue lights on the lanes. Definitely recommend booking online though as they are busy & probably won't get a slot if you turn up in person to book.

It was super busy, but really good. One of my friends struggled a little with the noise - but that's to be expected in a busy Bowling place on a weekend. Overall it was great, I just wish we had come on a less busy day.

  • 4/5 Daniel K. 2 years ago on Google
Good fun to play with kids. Staff were helpful as well. They even have little bowling slides for the kids to be able to bowl. Quite tidy and in good overall condition though the balls are quite old. There are a LOT of other slot machines and other games as well which cheapens the experience somewhat and it is extremely loud there but that's quite usual. Did not try the food but I probably would skip that here

Fun family day out especially with the Sunday deal of unlimited games. Great prices. Amazing experience. Comfortable seating and nearby dining accompanying each bowling lane. Arcade also very good. A lot of fun games to try. Would recommend for families. Very good.

  • 2/5 smokeybarr 2 years ago on Google
Monumental queue at the bar, the lane was absolutely covered in food and empty cups frome the last group and only one bumper worked. Nowhere near enough balls either.

  • 5/5 Connor F. 2 years ago on Google
It big area with split lanes; I had a fun time over there. There is bowling, games, a pool table and a dinner place too. The friendly staff can call on service by the tablet screen when you go to the bowling the girl who serves us was friendly and nice helpful to had our drinks. It is a fun place for young kids and loves ones. I would go bowling more often as it is reasonable prices and great entertainment.

  • 4/5 James B. 2 years ago on Google
Quite pricey these days, and food is basic, but with so few people by day that's not surprising. Very understaffed, but the girl working did her best and handled requirements, credit to her. My boy loves the arcades too, so overall a fun family afternoon.

Loved the lively vibe and beautifully coordinated color palettes of this space! Tolworth is disappointing but this place turns the whole atmosphere around!

  • 5/5 Adam C. 2 years ago on Google
Brilliant place all round, we had a staff party of over 20 people here and the staff were more than accommodating despite being much busier at the bar than they’d anticipated on a Monday night. Especially grateful to Jack, Savannah, Rani and Sophia who put up our big crowd and served great drinks with a friendly smile the entire time. We will definitely be coming back again and would recommend this place to any other group looking for a change to the usual staff drinks at a pub or Christmas party in the office

  • 4/5 Ketaki M. 2 years ago on Google
I loved how the vibe of this place is so colourful and lively. It's the opposite of Tolworth in general and the 80's decor and color palettes are beautifully used

  • 3/5 Paul H. 2 years ago on Google
These places are about the company you keep so we had a good time. I would point out that I can't begin to imagine how you stop the transfer of COVID when we are all interchanging bowling balls. I didn't witness any cleaning of any of the entertainment machinery from bowling balls to air hockey so use your own intelligence and go prepared.

Nice place, attentive staff. Food might have been better. UPDATE: got a £100 fine two weeks later for parking at the centre as the "Customer Parking" below is apparently managed by a vulture parking company CPM. There is a n FAQ on the web site telling customers to register at the counter, but obviously nobody mentioned it to us. Ringed Hollywood Bowl and they apparently "cannot do anything about it"

  • 1/5 Paul A S. 2 years ago on Google
I have edited my initial review as people need to be aware that this company make money if you call them so BEWARE: I just received my phone bill and the call I made to the Hollywood Bowl cost me £5.25 as it's a 084 code number where an access charge goes to your phone company, and a service charge set by the organisation you are calling. I have never called one of these numbers before and so was unaware by calling I would incur a charge to do so which I guess makes me naive, but nowhere do Tolworth Bowl warn you or make this clear on any of their marketing or website and I will bet I am not the 1st person to be caught out by this. It was expensive enough taking my granddaughter bowling, but now I feel ripped off at being charged to call them. Other than just making more money from unsuspecting customers, I cannot see any justication for this company to set a service charge to call them when making a booking......I shall never go again.

I organised a birthday gathering for my daughter last week, I had to make the booking over the phone, I called the local bowling alley a few times because of a date change and to ask questions and inform them of the dietary requirements, which they asked me to do 48 hours before the booking. I've just had my phone bill through and it has cost me £45 to make those phone calls to the Hollywood Bowl in Tolworth, I feel completely ripped off, when you make the call it doesn't tell you about any charges nor does it say it on their website. I have emailed Hollywood Bowl and waiting on a response....

Great family day out. Quick service and well organised, a bit expensive during the weekend but we had lots of fun

As Name defines, bowling is the main attraction 🎳 very good price for bunch of friends who prefers to bowl. Frequent discounts provided too. Can play snooker( 2 tables) for £1.5. drink and chill option open. Added few more fun equipment. One the whole, idle for kids and good for groups to snook and bowl. ✌️

  • 2/5 Ivo I. 1 year ago on Google
The bowling is all fine, staff and amenities are good. beware of the predatory parking operator PCM. Charged us for overstaying 26 minutes with a pretty fine of £100. You can ' Extend ' your stay for free if you notify staff. But no one tells you that and there is no clear signage that there is a limit of 4 hours you can stay on the parking lot. Cheers, we payed good money in the bowling alley and as a token of gratitude we got charged an extra £100.

Nice spacious place. You can host a kids birthday party here or get together with friends to just have a fun get together. They have an arcade place, bowling and table pool . You don't need to worry about where to go for food and drinks as they have a burger place and a bar where you can order slush puppies and non alcoholic drinks for the kids and adults can order themselves alcoholic drinks such as wine and beer. This place also has a big parking place you can park your car for free in.

  • 5/5 Julia D. 1 year ago on Google
This is a great place. Best to book on-line where you can select whether you want a bumper or not for younger bowlers. Much better than Tenpin in Kingston where the bumpers stay on or off, and don't alternate between bowlers. Food is okay, don't expect anything sophisticated but it's nice for snacking. Food can also take a long time to come when it is busy, but you can order on-line in advance. Otherwise the bar has a good selection of drinks. Little arcade is also fun for some post bowling fun.

Great place to bowl. My teenage son had a joint birthday party there a couple of weeks ago. The staff were very helpful and the burger and chips were a nice addition to the party package. Would definitely go again great atmosphere, plenty of lanes and arcade games, a bar too.

  • 4/5 Joe B. 1 year ago on Google
Staff were really nice and helpful. Use the app and you can even order food and drink to your lane. Bowling was great fun, not too busy and food and drink was all reasonably priced. Reason for knocking off one star was just down to general cleanliness/condition of the place but that definitely didn't spoil our fun at all.

  • 2/5 • NotSoSuperSoph . 1 year ago on Google
Looks pretty grimy from the outside. Inside looks okay, bowling was of course fun but the arcade (which I find the best part) was really bad, half the games were broken and one of them was even left unplugged out on the floor. Place needs some work. Definitely not returning.

  • 4/5 Peter H. 1 year ago on Google
Great experience, but very popular, so extremely busy. Would highly recommend booking in advanced. Great food and drink too.

  • 2/5 OJ J. 2 years ago on Google
Nice bowling alleys. Only downsides are the arcade machines; some of them are dirty. The change machines don't give full change back. Also, social distancing has been awful and encouraging people to wear masks could be improved as its an indoor and confined space. Its a Covid factory!

  • 4/5 Karina 10 months ago on Google
Very clean family enjoyed bowling however they definitely need more staff poor management and others were off there feet with parties the bowling arcade and food etc… service was slow however the staff couldn’t be more apologetic and not there fault.

Much better than the last time I came here. Its seems to have had a revamp. Had a really good time. Lots going on not just bowling. Had a few games of pool, lots of game machines fir the little ones to play.
