We always love coming to this club campground it’s our favourite by far. The managers are first rate and everything is perfectly maintained and kept clean. This visit it’s just simply too busy with way too many irresponsible owners allowing their dogs to bark incessantly. These pretend campers are not the company we like so we left at first light. Next time we visit it will come out of season.

A lovely clean, secure and quiet site. Easy to get to London from it either by train or by bus. There were two shower blocks open, so never short of shower space with plenty of hot water. Big secure gate locked at night, so we felt very safe. Nice play area for kids and lots of wild life to spot. You wouldn't know you're in London!

This is a great site, plenty of trees give it a strong rural feel despite its urban location. A brilliant place to stay if you want to visit London as the new Elizabeth Line is only a ten minute walk away. We stayed here over the Platinum Jubilee Weekend and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Superb site and the perfect stop when visiting London. The tube is a 10 min walk away and then 20 mins into the heart of London. Considering its position, it's quiet, in fact a veritable oasis. Plus it's the only site I've come across where the shower cubicles have underfloor heating!

What a wonderful site. A hidden gem! Its a green Oasis! Site is full of wildlife (Foxes. Squirels and even Parrots flying overhead). We booked it for a few days in London. Its just a 5 min walk to the new Elizabeth line tube station. The location is just perfect.

One of our favourite campsites. Only 5 minutes walk from the station where you can get the Elizabeth Line straight into central London. The campsite is well maintained and surrounded by trees which gives you the feeling of being in the country whilst also blocking out much of the traffic noise.

Four stars given because I’m stuck trying to get out at 6am. A gentleman had to be woken to get me off the site by opening the gate. Be aware of this. Every campsite I’ve been on has an automatic electronic gate to let people out but this place is locked . Otherwise the place is faultless. Facilities are clean and well maintained. A few minutes walk to Abbey Wood station with good connections to all the sites.

Lovely site - well placed for travel into central London. Elizabeth Line nearby. Beware falling acorns and conkers in autumn - site has a LOT of trees!! Excellent facilities and wardens really friendly and helpful.

Stayed here several time, and always been great. But this time was a nightmare. Large group of locals who camped there, and there friends just come on the site to join them and party. They started fighting amongst each other. Young children on the play area after midnight night swearing. No warden that does a late night round. Scarborough was a much better site.

I spent a week in the glamp which was fine, small, but perfectly formed. It has a TV, heater, fridge, microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery required for the stay. It had its own en suite. The staff were helpful. The site is a 10 minute walk from the railway station/Elizabeth Line. There's a big Sainsburys next to the train station. Local buses run from the station into Woolwich and the other way into Bexleyheath.

My husband and I visited the site as he was working in London between Christmas and New Year so tried to make a holiday out of it for me and our pooch. You would never guess there would be a site in such an urban area, but as we turned into the site we were greeted by lots of trees and the lovely sound of bird song. The chap at reception was lovely and friendly and told us we could pick our own pitch and just let him know. The pitch sizes were massive and all hard standing (we have a motorhome) and the camp is surrounded by trees. The facilities are great- the toilet/shower block was clean tidy and warm and it even has 2 (free) hairdryers! Plenty of water points, chemical disposal, laundry and dish washing area which I always prefer using. It is a 10 minute walk to the village centre, which has a pub,a little Morrisons, local shops, takeaways and an Indian restaurant. There are bus stops and the Elizabeth Line tube and rail link which is a great station with fab links and disabled access. We had a really great stay and totally recommend this site for visiting central London and we will definitely visit again!

You can caravan in London! Brilliant site. You'd never know you're in the city. So well connected to central London as the Elizabeth line is 10 minute's walk away and just a speedy half hour journey to town.

Oasis near train line into central London. Small play area. Stayed in a glamping pod - compact but very comfy beds. Hadn’t been cleaned too well - previous guests had left bottles of pop which were still there and some sweet wrappers behind the sofa bed.

Secure and picturesque site only 10 mins walk to the station, with Thameslink and Elizabeth line trains serving the centre of London. Multiple toilet blocks and facilities, which are well maintained. Friendly staff. You won't believe you're in the middle of a city!

Lovely campsite well maintained and facilities are excellent, better shower than I have indoors! Ideal location for travelling up to London with train and tube station five minutes walk. Large sainsbury 5 min walk for all your essentials. Not a complaint but, very popular with tourists so dual language signs and instructions might be helpful 😀

1st night was a disappointing one. We pitched up on a serviced pitch overlooking the park where some tents were pitched. Unfortunately the group of tents were partying until 0100. I went down at 2300 to have a word as we have a 2 year old who couldn't sleep due to the noise but was ignored. They were read the riot act by the wardens the next day and all was well in the world again. Stopped four nights and only had issues once so not bad in the grand scheme of things. Location to the nearest train station is spot on and is a really nice maintained site. Only reason for dropping one star is allowing none club members to pitch up in large groups.

Beautiful, quiet, secluded and safe place 5min walk from Abbey Wood Station. Close to local shops (bigger and smaller) and cafe. Clean place with super friendly staff. It was mu first time to visit last week and will be back again soon with the kids. Oh yes- even tho it is quiet it is still children-friendly with small playground within the campsite. 100% recommend.

Great little site. People are very friendly and site is extremely clean and tidy. The only disappointing is now ulez will definitely put us off from going as we have a motorhome that is over 3 1/2 ton it cost us now £100 We will just use a site outside and use our Euro five car to travel into London .

This is an excellent site and such a friendly welcome. Site busy but did not feel crowded as plots well spaced. Facilities clean and tidy, grassed areas well maintained. Will definitely visit again.

A little oasis. Staying here for two weeks whilst receiving medical treatment in London. A perfect bolt hole with easy access to Central London (~35 mins by train) but it has the feel of a country side location. A good pub near by (Abbey Arms) which serves good Pizza. Would recommend if you’re looking for a cheap place to stay in London.

Absolutely loved it! Super nice staff and great place to rest from city. The park was spotlessly clean and the prices are great. Again, the staff was helpful and did the extra mile to accommodate us the best way possible.

We take our motorhome down to London and stay here often. The facilities are first-rate and kept clean and in very good order. The staff are especially welcoming and friendly - really lovely, in fact - and go out of their way to be helpful. It's situated near a big park and woods, which our dog loves. It's also 10 minutes' walk from Abbey Wood station, with frequent trains to Greenwich and central London - it's about 25 minutes by train to London Bridge station. The Elizabeth Line will also run to Paddington once Cross-Rail is up and running. A Co-Op nearby and a large Sainsbury's near the station. Abbey Wood (the settlement) is a bit dowdy, and we're a little weary when walking between the station and the site. Nevertheless, the campsite comes highly recommended!

Great site, really nice & helpfull staff, easy city / rail access. In winter the shower blocks would benefit from better heating. Shower blocks look tired and in need of a refurb, although, always immaculately clean & plenty of hot water. Signage on approach is not great and is confusing, if towing, go straight past the site road , round the roundabout and back, then turn right into the site road.. will definately visit again

Very good camp site & very helpful staff l used to go into London you can catch a train from bottom of the road

Spotless. Groundsmen always clearing the lawns and facilities clean any time of day. Easy walk to the station for overground or Elizabeth line. Recommended and we will definitely return

Good location at Abbey Wood Metro station in London, it is in the Low Emission Zone though, so you need to register which is a drag if you have a foreign vehicle which is registered outside of UK. Campsite is nice and clean and well maintained, I just don’t like the concept of this ‚club‘. As a non member you need to pay 13 pounds extra. To become a member it’s about 52 pounds which doesn’t make much sense if you don’t want to stay long. Also there is no shop, no bar, food etc on the site and they claim this is what their members want. I doubt that but ok. After checking out in the morning they did not want me to stay on their parking lot in front of the campsite which was almost empty for a few hours with no further explanation given. If I can avoid it I will make no further use of such ‚club‘ campsites.

What a lovely little site. The glamping pods are tiny but well thought out. The staff are lovely, and it's very easy to get into London via the Elizabeth line, just 5 mins walk away. The tube station area is a bit rough, but not unsafe. This is actually a great option to visit London without the high prices of a central London Hotel.

Great site would never know you are in London. The Elizabeth Line is a 10min walk from the site so easy to get into London, it's the first time of being away in our caravan and not used the car brilliant. The site is very clean although I think the showers need updating, there are 3 toilet and shower blocks.

This is an amazing place to stay. We stayed for 8 nights in out motorhome allowing us to set up base while we day tripped into London. Short walk to the train station and the Elizabeth Line is running frequently and connects to everywhere. The facilities are great and plentiful, friendly staff and quite surroundings. Highly recommend.

Great site for visiting London via Elizabeth Line which is just a 10 min walk. As mentioned, it is a bit daunting near the station but no problem. Not sure about venturing there at night though! The site is in woodland with plenty of wildlife..namely squirrels darting around. Parrots and birds. Toilet blocks were spacious and clean albeit a bit of TLC required mainly on the smaller facitlity at the top of site. Not much on the way of stock in the shop and what is there is overpriced but there is a Sainsbury's near the station. I have given 5 stars for location and accessibility to London and Kent..cheap travel. Will be staying there again for sure.

Fantastic camp site, great amenities and set in beautiful woods. Easy access to the centre of London via the new Elizabeth line, lovely walks if you want to stay local. Best of both worlds.

Great peaceful site with great public transport links into the heart of London. Abbey Wood station is just a 25 minute trip on the Elizabeth Line to Tottenham Court Road. The site itself is spacious and well laid out - secure and peaceful. Facilities are clean and well maintained and staff all very friendly.

The seventh camping of our UK holiday was at Abbey wood in Greenwich near London. We were camping for more than two weeks and normally book hotels in capital cities like London. But public transport connections from this campsite into the centre of London was great with the new metro Elizabeth line. In a 5 minute walk and 20 minutes metro travel time you were standing on Liverpool street. With todays hotel and parking prices this was the best choice for us. Campsite attracts multiple foxes who can steal your shoes as warned for or in our case just bit our tent open to steal some food and ruin our mosquito net. Campsite is neat and green with lots of trees.
