Very very interesting house. Well documented and with notable features from the time. I love the small steps up from the double lounge where you can easily imagine poetry and the like being declaimed. A walk back in time..to 1906 or thereabouts

A fairly ordinary house with a fascinating interior and informative and friendly guides. It felt like stepping back in time and I learnt a lot about the history of the house and the area. Lovely to see it still furnished as it was 60 years ago.

What a rare little gem. Visited for first time and it was like stepping back in time. A couple that hand built, created and decorated their beautiful home. Has original carvings, paintings and embroidery. Beautifully kept and maintained. Kids came to do some lino printing. a trail and some other crafty bits. kept them busy and happy for 1-2hrs
