Simply wow...! It's one of the best attractions of Croydon. They have different food outlets and variety of food items. Such a big dining area. Worth to visit.

Motivational only. I would give easily 1 star. Wanted to get inside for some food. Nope. Only if you registered and give all your details to some website that gets you data a does God knows what. Don't get me wrong, I really believe In masks and protection and so on. When I asked the Goofy bouncers where my details are going, who is processing it and so on they looked at my like I was invisible. One said:"we don't know, we don't care and this is how it goes. If you don't like this system, don't get in". So I didn't.

This is adjacent to the train station; if you change train at East Croydon, you’ll likely pass here. You can eat, drink and play here with lots of interesting food options and great atmosphere. Lots of entertainment activities going on here.

Amazing place. Food, drink and axe throwing all under 1 roof. You could do an almost full world tour of food with all the different eateries inside and out. Have a few beers and then go lob a few axes at big wooden targets.

Great atmosphere, great food and games. Recommend you go and visit and take your family. I tried Spoon and rice, the dish is exquisite, trust me! The plate IS BIG, lots of rice for those whom are rice lovers. M first time I tried Filipino food, I enjoyed it and I can’t wait to go again and try new and different dishes. 5 stars. Very good

Lovely atmosphere. Eatery with reasonable price with many food stalls. Most recommended place.

Awesome!! All the food places are just gorgeous and there’s such an array of choice. Great atmosphere, cracking staff and the variety of offerings just makes the whole event that much more special. Who’d of thought Croydon could be so cool? Anyone who ends up moving there always comments on how good Box Park is, and I’m seriously considering going down there on Sunday for the Women’s Euro Finals!! COME ON ENGLAND!!

Marjays is the highlight. The cocktails were delicious and the vibe is good. I don't like having to scan a QR code to enter and the benches are unsteady and uncomfortable but overall it is a great venue

It's great for what it is, which is a Lot of different food outlets around a central dining area of benches either side of long tables. The choice is extensive. There is a bar, and of course its location means transport links are great. They have a massive screen for hosting things like the world cup football or music gigs.

BoxPark Croydon has changed since Covid happened. That was our first visit since! Many of our favorite outlets have closed down and sadly some outlets have not even been replaced. Creating empty spaces. Also to our surprise we were told we needed to scan our phone to register to enter Boxpark when no event were on… then when we enquiried and asked why we were told it was not compulsory. So we can only assumed they do this to collect data. Nothing about safety was mentioned and since we were told we don’t have to do it, there seems to be no consistency in it. The pizza from Crust Bros Pizza (38) were divine and are a great choice for kids. Hard to go wrong with pizza. However the size seems to have been reduced. The burgers from Coqfighter (19) looks great but beware they are full of sauce, too much of it! Their fries are weird too. Also tried a pie from a Caribbean outlet and it was so spicy one of us nearly chocked on it, despite being use to spicy food. The children were pleased but us adults struggled with the standard. The music is also way too loud and the TV is nice in the background with Wimbledon match playing these days but hard to follow with the loud music and no TV sounds. We had to shout at each others to speak I guess that loud music is to encourage drinking/eating and give some vibes to the place but that might take a toll on once hearing.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good food :) Great for family and friends. The jollof rice was amazing as was the beef suya & the chicken wings. The sauce with the wings was amazing as well! I especially loved the plantain (not pictured). The spice level and portion sizes were great value for money. The service was 10/10. Thank you so much to Edi, you were so kind and attentive. We felt very welcome.

A great evening of food and drink. There is almost too much choice of amazing world food to taste. All of the staff including the security, table chaperone service, drinks waiters, and cleaners work tremendously hard to make it a very pleasant experience for everyone. The DJ played some banging tunes too! My only slight quibble was I couldn't connect to the wifi and my phone signal was poor in that area. A bit frustrating when having to order online. Still will not stop me from going back. Great night out for family, friends and date night.

Very grateful to have been invited to turn on the Christmas Lights alongside Jords at Boxpark Croydon - a real honour as Croydon is my hometown. The staff were fantastic and event hosts made the event run smoothly and successfully. The food is fantastic so many choices to choose from. I recommend; Big Mike's Kitchen for their frozen slushie rum punch and tasty food. Argentinian Grill for the steak and chips. Love Churros for their churros and mini Pancakes in white chocolate.

A well organised place for a meet up with lots of choice for entertainment and food. Can get a bit too crowded over the weekends and have it to give a very big thumps up to the staff who clean up after the people in the food court area. Would recommend Sluggers for a game of baseball and the Thela for one of the best paratha rolls in town

Enjoyed it here very much. Great selection of food which you can order online. I had the Argentinian grill which was great and my colleague had thai which was also very good. You do need to download an app and register the first time you visit and your temperature will taken to comply with Covid protocols.

Good atmosphere, variety of food for everyone. Drinks could be stronger, taste like juice but hey, you don't go for the drinks. They have axe throwing and now have the batting cages which is cool. No more travelling to East London. I ate in Smoky Boys. Nice food

Popped in for lunch and tried Kanji, it was superb. I'm new to South Korean food but I'll absolutely try it again. The venue was lively with a varied selection of street food, well worth a visit

Very cool place. But the second pool table needs charging and the pool cues need new tips... and better lighting (red lights make the yellow and white balls nearly indistinguishable;) Other than that I love the place.

Love this place, only trouble is I don't go often enough (it's too expensive to go regularly, so it's a treat), therefore a lot of my favourites have moved on. Having said that lots of variety and something for everyone. This time round I went to Ruudies 👌🏽

So much better than the Shoreditch version. Great selection of places to eat with loads of seating and a huge number of events happening. Can get a little rowdy on the weekends but in a good way not a bad way!

I really enjoy coming here, I like the atmosphere when there is an event and is calm. Live band this Saturday, great band playing very interactive with the public. There was also football on before the band and its was full at this point bur and enjoyable atmosphere. There are various food places that are affordable and there is security all round. The cleaners are fantastic and polite keeping everything on point for us all to visit. There is male and female 🚻 toilets to use, generally speaking clean and there is also a bar that turns into club after certain time. Look for events on specific days. There poetry, R&B vibes, karaoke or special dj... Children and exercise events. Concerts. Look out for events and you sure to plan an enjoyable fun day.

I went to the Carib& Co Brunch pop up market. It was great fun, there were some fantastic stalls including one run by a 10 year old girl. They had a DJ and dancers for entertainment and gave away a £5 voucher to those who made a purchase from one of the stalls. I opted for the Argentina grill which was delicious. I had chicken and prawn chow mein which was £12 but with my voucher I paid £7. All in all a great day out.

You're forced to add a loyalty card to your Google wallet before you can get it. It's not a covid protocol, is forced marketing. Good is mostly good, avoid meat liquor.

Came for lunch... this was great - light, airy, spacious with plenty of delicious food on offer. Walk around and look at the menus then order your food at the table. Wait for the text to go collect your order from the kitchen and tuck in! I had the Masala Omelette from Thala which was spicy but delicious! 🙂

You can always find food that you want and you won't be disappointed. Though the music was incredibly loud with some weird high-pitched noises that made us leave early. I was sad to see the Korean place gone, but there is so many options. The photo attached is from the Argentinian Grill. Lovely fries, ribs and chicken that fell right off the bone, really great flavours all around. The 3 stars is purely from the music, seating and alcohol prices (which I wouldn't order to avoid disappointment). The food is the main reason I go as the variety is fantastic.

I love that there's axe throwing here! So random, really fun and the staff were amazing. There was also karaoke. It was hard to choose where to eat from but the food was nice, however the bar was expensive - I paid £7 for a single + mixer and it wasn't even a half pint! Nice atmosphere, but the only seats available were right under speakers so it was hard to catch up with my friends

On this visit to Boxpark Croydon, I bought the Tofish, fries with Tartar sauce that came with onion rings from Vegan Express. It was a good size portion and it tasted really good. The fries were really good and the Tofish was fine. I would definitely have it again. The man that served was very kind an gave me a free slice of a chocolate cheesecake that tasted out if this world. Definitely worth a try.

Very decent and nicely decorated open space for dining, games and hangout. Located right outside East Croydon train station, it's a really nice place to just relax and have some fun. So we went to the sluggers which is a cage for playing fancy baseball...you must be able to swing a bat as arm muscles required 😅 Loads of screens to watch live matches and games as well. Loads of mini restaurants and bars available. Apparently the toilet cubicles are very small, I didn't get to use so couldn't confirm but my friend says "though it's clean, it's only ideal for a slim person" 😊 There is also axe throwing and another activity available which I can't remember if the top of my head. There is a good truck outside the Boxpark that offers vegan option as well. Loads of booze and people getting really happy 🤦🏽😂 Overall I would recommend, yet to visit the one at Wembley and Shoreditch 👍🏼 PS: Don't expect much with the games bar though a simple 25min round would do if you are a party of 2 or 3...we went for the 50min round which was a bit too much for us, however if you have a larger party like 5+ then perhaps you may want to go for a 50mins course so that everyone can get at least 2 rounds, your first round is always a test case 😁 just a lil nugget

I understand in present times the need for track and trace, but expecting you to sign up to their site/app is a hassle just to gain entry. In light of the need to sign up, very little in the way of COVID protocols were followed or instructed. Went to Meat Liquor, food was great but the cost of a can of beer is £6! for a can of lager. Or if you order through Meat Liquor's app which they recommend, its then £6.87 for the same can of lager.

The reputation of boxpark speaks for it's self as the wide range and variety of food will leave you gazing at all options. The staff members are mostly quite friendly, DJ is always selecting the right tracks for the season and unless there is an event taking place it never comes across over-populated. This previous time I took a trip I treated myself to some chicken and prawn stir fried rice which was amazing. Strong flavours, good portion and worth the price. Definitely recommend going there with a group of friends or family especially if all may have different tastes, everyone no doubt will be satisfied with their options.

Great fun all round. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Offered tips and trick shots as we got better. Not a bad price tbh. And we had an hour and a half which is more than enough time to have a great time. Food on site amazing loads of choice and great atmosphere.

FOR CODS HAKE Bought cod and chips and got cod bites and chips instead via Deliveroo. Wrote a review on Deliveroo and they replied saying they dont sell cod bites and don't understand what happened. No apologies. The cod bites I hot seemed to have had a little nibble taken out too. Deliveroo already Apologised profusely on their behalf and assured me they'd be done sort of follow up and refunded so am okay or was okay until the staff at For Cods Hake wrote that response. I must add its the second time I bought from the m. First time the cod was more like half a cod and I laughed it off with my friends. Tried again and it was worse. I will not be buying anything from them again that's certain

Amazing concept, very fun ambience especially with the DJ pumpkin music. But over two days we sampled multiple food vendors and the taste and quality of the foo was shocking. The food vendors are doing a massive disservice. Also quite rude when you ask for an extra spoon or some salt etc. Best go here for drinks with friends. P.S. - requiring to register with their app for every single person wanting to enter is a faff, especially if you are just a tourist that doesn't live in London. The management need to simplify this.

  • 4/5 T S. 1 year ago on Google
Great array of foods. Bigger than shoreditch's one but smaller than wembleys. There is the new addition of axe throwing and also there are a host of different events every week or so, with karoake and big names, to big matches and sports events being played on their big screen. Great vibe but not a place to hang out with if you don't like loud crowded places.

My friend and I were looking for something sweet, suitable for vegan, and to our great surprise we found 'The after school cookie club' in unit 33 of the BoxPark in Croydon. The ice-cream was very good but the chocolate cookie milkshake was fabulous. I'll definitely go there again, this time for a different flavour.:-)

I visited BOXPARK for the first time and was really impressed. We went on a Thursday, around 12 noon. The flat accessible entrance around the side was a little confusing to find but once we worked out where to go it was super easy. Navigation around inside was great, with long tables and benches in the middle of the floor and food outlets to each side. There were so many cuisine choices to pick from! Once we'd decided which unit to eat at, we went inside, ordered and we're given a little electronic device that would buzz when our food was ready for collection. I believe you can also order at your chosen seated spot, too. The seating was tricky for me as a wheelchair user unfortunately, the benches were all long communal seats with no gaps or easy transfer areas. I had to park at the end of one of the tables which was a little uncomfortable and people often had to keep squeezing past me due to being in a walkway rather than in a seat at a table. That was the only negative of our visit. The indoor heating was perfect and the food (from Vegan Shack) was divine. We can't wait to go back!

A brilliant venue to enjoy the football with plenty of pop-up shops with a variety of foods. I recommend the VIP tickets to avoid the main queue; it also allows you seats close to the screen. Make sure to wear the plastic coat provided lest you want to be doused in beer when England score.

Music was really good. But decided to leave as me and my friend were dancing and we were told from one of the security guys we couldn’t. What’s the point of having music if you can’t dance.

Love BOXPARK Croydon so many choices with food and was hoping to get some Roti but we did have really delicious food from Spoon and Rice and it was so flavoursome. Great atmosphere too especially with the sunny weather.

  • 5/5 Diana A. 11 months ago on Google
Big open space, giant disco ball and lights, music and many different cuisines. A really difficult dinner choice for an indecisive diner 🤔 Two circuits of all the options and consultation with the group on what others were having before choosing Argentinian Grill... followed... after a bit of table football in our upstairs bar area... by churros! The spectacular torrential downpour was startling as the noise on the roof was unexpected and incredibly loud.

Devlin performed at boxpark Croydon on the 18th April. Was a very good intimate gig in the event room. The speakers were good quality and the production from the DJs to the lighting was on point. Had a really good time with my mate supporting one of the legendary grime MCs that is Devlin. Boxpark is always a good vibe because they have a range of food and drinks on offer and the space is big enough to cater to lots of people! Insane night and great event.

So even though I live in Croydon I've only been to box park once! Met with my aunt for a Sunday afternoon "soulful sundays" I was nearly put off by the registration on the door, but it's really simple and the lovely woman helped me to get access to the Black Card.... which u NEED for drinks, but gain points for purchases£€£€£ We spent 6 hours casually, and finally decided 4oneat pizza from the amazing variety of foods on offer. I could eat that pizza 20 times over, and with a serious nut allergy I was so impressed to be offered NUT FREE PESTO 👌.... On my return home, I was so happy to see I had earned £9.50 in points 0.50p away from something free 🙃

had a good day here. friendly and a great atmosphere. food was nice etc. the only thing that got on my nerves was the fact I ordered a jack Daniel's and coke (double) and I could only taste coke, I even asked my friend to try it and he couldnt taste it neither ..... they can do this because u cant see ure drinks being poured, my advise is drink beer or cider etc not spirits cos they take the piss .... I knew what was happening and it's not right. other than that I had a good day

Apparently this draughty market hall counts Asan indoor venue. Despite having fabric slung up at the sides. If that’s the case then fine, but communicate it!!! Five of us came down having booked tickets. I checked the website in advance and there’s no info about it being indoors and given how many layers you need to wear to be there it’s not somewhere you’d naturally think of as an indoor venue. Shocking management of communication leaving the poor bouncers to give the update that should be managed by your comms team. Frustrated to have planned ahead only to have my travel budget wasted. No more box park for me

A lively venue with music, food and beverages, lots of indoor and outdoor seating areas, a nice place to chill with friends or family. During pandemic, it can become pretty busy and crowded even during the weekdays. No reservations needed to seat in, you just queue up at the entrance and they will guide you to your table and ask you order everything through the app.

This place is aimed at a younger crowd in their 20s and early 30s. A good choice of dining options where you download the app and choose your food, then receive a text alert when ready for you to collect. Everything is in disposable containers so quite hygienic. Last night before lockdown and wound down very quickly from 9.30 onwards.

Great place, lots of food options and events that take place. Kept warm in the winter months too! Only 4 stars as acoustics aren't great so can be a bit loud and echoey making it hard to talk to someone who's not closely sat to you. Other than that would very much recommend!

I love Box Park, it's a great place to go if you want something quick, easy and cheap on the go. They've got a huge selection to choose from so you can always find something everyone is into if you're with a group who all like different things. Track and trace is up and running, and they have plenty of social distancing /sanitizing measures in place to keep everybody safe, most of the businesses are also doing "eat out to help out" during August, so you get 50% off your meal up to a value of £10! I literally get lunch in here almost ever day.

Came here for a coffee and ended up staying a couple of hours and having a taco, churros, a mulled wine and a larger. Was able to listen to live music in the warm during covid times which was really nice. Food was very tasty and so were the drinks. Safety precautions were taken seriously and it was all very clean and tidy. Loved the decorations too.

Great place to grab a meal, a drink or watch a sporting event on the big screen. There is a wide selection of food options via individual vendors and a couple bars. Prices are reasonable for the area. Family friendly during the day and early afternoon. There are a large number of tables but it can get quite busy during sporting events. Tables are kept clean and the washrooms are well maintained. Covid changes - You can order drinks online for table delivery or go up to the bar. For food, you can order on your mobile but must go up to collect. You can also go up to order food.

It was our first time at Boxpark in Croydon- parking is available if you're lucky on the streets around/opposite but also a new parking lot further down. Once you park and walk, entering is as usual but with covid security checkin before entering ( very easy) and social distancing at the communal tables in the middle. Big screens where live sport matches and other entertainment usually screened. Toilets available too. Lots of restaurants/cuisines to choose from once inside; Halaal (smokyboys, coq fighter, tinseltown, thali), vegan, Thai, Indian, Asian, Korean, Italian and American too! Also a couple sweet/ dessert places (churros). Only downside is the shortage of tables as it gets busier. Atmosphere at boxpark very cool and will be a nice place to get together with friends/ family in a group (post covid).

The C19 measures are extreme and once you're in each business has to be taken on its own individual merit. Overall Security and Boxpark staff are hyper vigilant which I suppose is a good thing during this pandemic but they are a wee bit heavy handed.

Had a good evening. I've not visited a boxpark before but I really enjoyed the vibe... The drinks... It was also really warm inside.

Food here is really great there is such a diversity between restaurants to cover all tastes, great for families also there is a mini soft play for babies and little footsal tables as well, so perfect for a social distanced catch up and good bite to eat

Good location near East Croydon train station. Had masala chai which was great. Amazing customer service. Sorry I didn't get a chance to eat there and will make a point to do so when I go back as it all looked delicious!

Avoid wok at all costs, I have been to boxpark many times and always had a great experience. However wok was horrendous, the service was shocking and they were just rude! The food was even worse, tasteless deep fried garbage that was cold, I realised the bao buns were cold upon taking a bite so sent them back to be replaced. They had the audacity to microwave our bao buns that had a bite taken out of them and send them back to us as were (after handling them with bare hands) and think that that was acceptable practice, we requested a refund as I refuse to pay £10 for that microwaved nasty food. Upon asking for a refund we were just given attitude and a dirty look. Avoid at all costs.
