I bought the Ginexperience for my friend as a birthday present. First she was a bit sceptical about the 3 hour session, but we both thoroughly enjoyed it! We had soo much fun and learned a lot about Gin. Even made our own. Can only recommend this. Our host Joe was absolutely Gintastic!!

We tried the Ginstitute Experience for my birthday. It was informative and fun, but I did not expect how much drinking there would be. We got ~3.5 cocktails from the history lesson and then ended up drinking about 4-5 shots of gin while making our own gin flavors. I loved learning the history of gin in their small gin palace decorated room. It was cozy, and we had own own booth. Then part 2 was in the distillery, which is really cute and small.

Had a great time at the gin experience. Christmas present from my partner. Not super expensive once the gin you take home and provided cocktails are taken into account. Highly recommended.

A great experience. Learnt a lot about the history of gin which was way more interesting than I thought it’d be. Took my mum even tho she’s not a huge gin drinker. Sampled the Tom Collins and a couple other cocktails. Once we’d finished the history (and endless cocktails) we went next door to make our own. This involved tasting a lot of pure alcohol which i thought I’d hate. But they were actually all very good. Our host was knowledgeable and helped lots with our concoctions. Was feeling suitably tipsy at the end. Got to take home our own made gin as well as one of theirs and some tonic. Should keep me going for a while!

The staff is very friendly, that's the good part. However, I was deeply disappointed in the so called "local lager". It tasted like Bud light. The food is something you'd expect a teenager who is just learning to cook to make. Don't go here, there are plenty of other nice places in the same neighborhood.

Attention all gin lovers! If you find yourself wandering down Portobello Road in London, do not pass up the opportunity to visit The Ginstitute. Trust me, it's worth the detour. This place is like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, but for gin. The knowledgeable staff will take you on a journey through the history of gin, from its origins as a medicinal tonic to its current status as a beloved cocktail ingredient. And if that's not enough to get you excited, the real magic happens when you get to create your own gin. That's right - you'll be a master distiller for a day, experimenting with botanicals and creating a personalized blend that will make all your friends jealous. But don't worry if you're not a gin expert - the staff will guide you every step of the way, making sure your concoction is top-notch. And when you're done, you get to take home a bottle of your very own gin creation. But the experience doesn't stop there. The Ginstitute also boasts a cozy bar where you can sip on some expertly crafted cocktails, all made with their signature gin blends. So, whether you're a gin aficionado or just looking for a unique experience in London, The Ginstitute is a must-visit destination. Who knows, you might just discover your new favorite spirit. Cheers!

The Ginstitute offers a great travel through the land of Gin ! A 3 hours session to learn about the history and the making of the once-not-so-much-loved spirit. The climax happens when it's our time to create our own Gin under the careful supervision of our spirit maker. One great experience in the heart of Notting Hill.

A fabulous walk through the history of gin, generous and delicious drinks served and the the opportunity to make your own blend of gin. Sam was a great host and it was a real fun experience for gin lovers… generous on the gin too!!

Quick to be shown s table, but then the spirit of good service ends. After an eternal wait and frantic waving, we were finally offered to place our orders, at least half an hour after being seated. However, the Soho Spritz is really a treat!

We had an absolutely amazing time with Carmen and Sam as our hosts at the Ginstitute. The evening was informative, entertaining, and delicious! We learned a lot about gin and they were very generous in their offerings. We are so excited to try our own bottles of gin! Would highly recommend.

We went to The Ginstitute back in 2017. It was the best day. Re ordered my gin this week at 8:10 Monday morning, it was delivered the next day at 9:05. Amazing service considering they have to make the gin to my recipe. They also blended my gin with my wife’s for our wedding, we gave it as favours and gifts. Always had amazing customer service, highly recommend. Love it 😍
