Very good brewery tap in Westlands Shopping Centre at Stratford. Two cask beers - and two ciders - on handpump when I last visited including the house stout. Plenty of outdoor seating.

It's a great little taproom considering it's part of a shopping centre. My one gripe is that they are not checking stock regularly enough. I just grabbed a can to take out and paid full price for an out of date can! That's a big red flag for me. I will think about hitting up beer merchants tap or Mother kellys in the future. EDIT: They came back to me in less than 24hrs. Truly great customer service there! I declined the refund and took the replacement beer. Great stuff.

Great venue. Excellent beer selection plus wine list, cocktails etc. An oasis within the Westfield Shopping Centre! Even have their own microbrewery on site. Informal seating in a relaxed environment. Great service. Music was booming a bit loud for me but maybe I am getting old. Definitely check this place out.

Tap East is a regular stop-off on my daily walk between the two Stratford stations. It's small, fairly chill, and very different to the rest of the shopping centre that it's in. They have a good range of interesting beers - the Pils is surprisingly nice - and it's easy to time your exit to the platform at the International station. So, two surprises: nice bar in a shopping centre and a really nice Pils.

This was my first time at Tap East and I absolutely loved it. Drinks menu just doesn't ends. Awesome beer, good service, can order sides as well. I went for the Tap East Bitter myself and can recommend that for sure. You can order sides and Hotdogs. Wheelchair accessible.

The only place I'd consider having a beer in Westfield. Good selection of cask and keg at reasonable prices. You can even try their beer that is brewed on site

I had very high hopes for this place, but sadly, it didn't live up to expectations. The selection of beers was ok, but there wasn't a great amount of choice, particularly in cans. I like a good hazy IPA between 6-8% and there wasn't anything in that range. The overall atmosphere, too, is a bit different to most tap taprooms. Kids area right outside or being connected to a shopping centre maybe didn't help?! Might be me being fussy!!!

My first visit. Tried some very nice beers. Very good selection, and very friendly staff.

What a find. Totally unexpected in a shopping mall, across the ground floor (weirdly labelled -1 in the lift) from Stratford International Station (weirdly labelled as an international station). Great range of beers and even brilliant bar snacks. Sensibly priced too. Result. I shall return.

Great little craft beer spot with an excellent beer selection. Staff was very nice and helpful. Takeaway beers were excellently priced as well! I do feel like the inside could use some stylistic improvement, but that onus is on the owner 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great range of beers, some quite expensive, but mid-range to cheaper brews are available. Needs a few more stouts. Staff pleasant. Styled well, but basically very much a no frills venue. Stools are torture to sit on and overall comfort needs to be improved, but will visit again. Very convenient for Stratford International or a quick beer at the end of a long day..

Tap East is as it ever has been. A lovely micro brew bar in Westfield Stratford. If you're really lucky you get to sit in their comfy sofa corner. The beer is brilliant and the wine is good too and reasonably priced for this location.

Great little bar. I was stopping overnight for business close by and out on my lonesome. Bobbed in for a quick pint and ended up staying for a few hours chatting with other punters. Great beer and great atmosphere in a mall! Who’d have thought :) well worth a sneaky pint after work.

Great selection of quality beers from all over. Takeaway prices for beers are astoundingly cheap! Well worth a visit, even if just to grab a beer (or five) for onward travel. I didn't sample any food, but it seems to be perfect to complement a good beer.

Back to its pre Covid standards with a great range of both cask beers and chilled fizzy craft beer. Pretty busy on an early Thursday evening and there was a good atmosphere.

I love that they always have such a varied selection of beers available but after 10+ visits I have yet to try a beer that I really loved. I tend to sample a broad range and usually opt for 1/2 or 1/3 pints. The service has always been warm.and welcoming, the staff are quite knowledgeable on their range of drinks. Being in a shopping mall they don't have much of a large area and at busy periods we often have to just stand and drink. Not sure how they could rectify this, it just is what it is, there is some seating outdoors as well that kind of expands their capacity. Overall a decent place for a quick pint.

Always a good selection of beer. Friendly knowledgeable staff and convenient location near the station and shopping centre. It can be difficult to find a seat sometimes.

Nice cosy bar with a friendly barman tucked away in the corner of a very busy shopping centre that makes you feel you're not actually in a shopping centre. Plenty of beers to choose from at various prices, usually depending on the abv, but unfortunately there was not anything I liked as it was mostly lighter IPA's and blonde ale style beers, I'm a fan of amber, red and darker ales, but the barman said he was speaking to the brewers about an amber ale so I may be back.

Just about the only thing that offsets a unpleasant trip to Westfield is the reward of finishing in Tap East. Great range of beers including some brewed on site. I almost marked down for the fact that they were charging £7+ for a pint of Howling Hops which is brewed less than 2 miles away, but it's been a tough time for pubs and I'm thankful these guys are still here. But if you're reading this Tap East by all means charge high prices for unusual imports, but not for what is possibly the most local beer other than your own brews.

Lovely little tap House with 3 great beers on hand pull. Comfy seating indoors and and out door area too. Perfect location for a thirst quencher if you have been in Westfield shopping centre or dare I say a good place to leave your other half of you want to shop in peace especially if you have traveled by train

Not my first visit, it is great to find a brewery within a major shopping mall. Good range of beers, cask, keg and bottled.
