A wonderful theatre. Seats are comfortable and pretty good leg room (I'm 6ft 2inchs) so often struggle in older venues. The show (singing in the rain) was brilliant! A welcome tonic to be watching a fun musical with not just singing but fantastic dance sequences too. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Saw Singing in the Rain with a ticket from.the TodayTix app which was a £75 seat for £25! The theatre is a little was out of the main Theatreland area of London, but has regular buses outside and Angel tube station nearby. The website recommended arriving an hour before the performance starts, but when lots of people do that there is nowhere to put them all as the auditorium only opens 30 minutes before the performance and there aren't enough seats in the bar/foyer area. However, there is a small park opposite the theatre where you could wait if the weather is ok. The foyer and auditorium looked surprisingly modern and the seats in the rear stalls were well tiered and comfortable, although the fact it has long rows with aisles down the sides, with no centre aisle means you have to let lots of people in and out when it is crowded.

This is one of the top modern theatres in London. The current design is from 1998, although the 1st theatre space dates back to the 16th century. Don’t be put off though by it’s modern look. The acoustic is great, there is plenty of space. It’s not as crowded and small as some of the West End theatres. Plenty of bars so getting there early is good and fun! Enjoy any show and then it’s easy to get back to town or the river for more bars ….

Great experience, absolutely great dancing, acting and music, very good feeling musical. Second time we went to see it and I would not mind to go a third.

Nice little theatre near Angel. We went to see the Black Sabbath Ballet, which was fantastic. Interval bar is fairly efficient.

Sadler's Wells Theatre is now one of the premier venues in London for the performing arts. The venue hosts some of the world's best dance companies. I was lucky to see Alvin Ailey American Dance Company there recently. Located just a short walk from Angel Tube station on the Northern Line it is centrally located. It is also one stop from King's Cross and Saint Pancras Station. There are numerous pubs and places to eat so it is a good day or night out. The best part about Sadler's Wells is the pricing structure of the tickets. I was able to see Alvin Ailey Dance Company for £15. A bargin in any sense of the word. The seats were high up, but how the theatre is arranged, it provides an excellent view. Book early to get the best seats.

I was here to see a relax performance of Matthew Bourne’s Nutcracker. The show itself was fantastic as was the seating arrangement within the stalls (the rake compensates well for tall v short peoples). The bar staff were very helpful and there is a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The only thing that could be improved upon is the amount of cubicles in the mens toilets. (One)

Superb experience. We had the pleasure of seeing the Birmingham Royal Ballet's production of Don Quixote for my nans 80th birthday and we all enjoyed it immensely. From the dancers, set, costume and orchestra, it was all wonderful. The theatre itself was great. Very easy to get to.The only niggle would the be ladies toilets. There was a queue every time and it would be great if they had more toilets to reduce queues. But that's an absolute tiny niggle because the queue moved quickly. All in all, a fabulous experience.

Somewhat out of the way and not many places to sit whilst waiting. However, the auditorium itself was comfortable, no issues with leg room and all the staff were very friendly. As for the performance itself, sublime. A beautiful and emotional retelling of the story, perfectly choreographed and executed. Incredibly talented dancers who received a genuine and well deserved standing ovation.

I saw 42nd street here and it was fabulous! From the exquisite dance numbers to the brilliant music I loved it all! It is a fun upbeat and uplifting show which is fun for the whole family. I would definitely recommend as it was a privilege to see! I was sat in seat L25 in the stalls which had a great view of the whole stage. The theatre itself was clean comfortable and had a very nice and friendly atmosphere! I will certainly be returning.

Sat in the first circle, row D (seat 20). Great view of the stage. Very comfy seat with plenty of leg room. 5 min walk from Angel tube.

Great space to see visiting performers in London. Large enough for large companies to perform full productions but small enough that the audience is close. E.g. , wonderful performance by Royal Birmingham Ballet on our most recent visit. Nearby Exmouth Market has a wide selection of restaurants on a pedestrian street for dinner before a show (6 minute walk).

Saw South Pacific - excellent production. Lovely theatre, bars and plenty of toliets on every floor. We were in the upper circle and had the two guys in front of us sat still and back in their seats we would have given it 5 stars - the rows of seats there need to be more off centre

London’s leading venue for contemporary dance. Great productions, terrific facility and most importantly of all - comfortable seats with sufficient leg room (are you listening, Victorian theatre venues in the West End?).

Short walk from Angel tube station and quick bag search on entry but no long queues so well organised. Well laid out seating, staggered, not too cramped or uncomfortable. View from upper circle was still quite good. Bars on every floor. Coke and bottle of IPA was just over £10. Toilets clean and spacious too.

Lovely theatre, really nice size. I paid for the cheapest tickets at the back on the 1st circle which supposedly had restricted view (it's only a little bit of the bottom of the 2nd circle above you) and it really only means you can't see the very top, basically the ceiling, you don't miss anything even remotely important! Would go here again!

Fantastic experience. Drinks and snacks available on site. All the stalls seats allow clear view, there was enough fresh air during the show. Polite and helpful staff. We were watching Edward scissorhands: everything was perfect! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience at Sadler Wells watching Edward Scissorhands! Very unusual production with a very talented cast. Stage and lighting was incredible. Live orchestra amazing.

First time to Sadler's Wells. Staff helpful and welcoming. Show: 42nd Street Cast was excellent. The show was blessed with a large orchestra in front of the stage led by the conductor, Jennifer Whyte. Who was very kind and personable to briefly talk to afterwards, but was an entertaining and moving performance in conducting the orchestra as the actors where on stage. 42nd Street now goes on tour, I saw the final show in London on Sunday. Just like "Pretty Lady" in the show, 42nd street will now move around the country.

As usual, a beautiful experience at SWT. It is almost frustrating that I can't attend all of their shows. The venue and the staff adds to the quality of the performances.

Sadler's Wells Theatre stands out as the ultimate venue for contemporary dance enthusiasts. Our experience watching Matthew Bourne's "Edward Scissorhands" was nothing short of excellent. The theater is particularly family-friendly, offering superb views from all seating areas, making it a great choice for visits with children, depending on the performance. However, it's wise to avoid driving, especially diesel cars, due to the exorbitant parking fees in the area.

This is a great modern theatre which is well set out so everyone can see the stage well. It also has good sound (important for someone is a bit deaf like me). The air conditioning is good, almost too chilly in the theatre and, last but not least, the staff are great.

My first visit and I loved it. Feels very clean and modern. Production was out of this world (Romeo and Juliet)

Love this theater, you can sit anywhere and feel close to the stage. You have the option to get a drink outside while waiting for the show to start! I went to see the english ballet it was just perfect!

Stall seats L21/22 were fabulous, even though as I looked around it seemed like all seats were good. Row L is just before the circle over and has a great view of the stage.

Very nice little theatre the performance was great I enjoyed the sleeping beauty ballet and want to book another one soon. Also bars were not so crowded and offered free tap water to everyone and toilet facilities clean and quite spacious. Chilled environment the way I like it!

This is a great theatre, clean and well managed. I went to see The Night At Kabuki and TED Talk. Lots of stairs if you are not taking a lift. I’m not sure if there is a lift. Look forward to other events or shows in the theatre.
