Great stay- Rooms we’re clean and accommodating but the amenities here are really what exceeded my expectations. we were able to fit a friend in the room with us. They brought in another bed. Service was kind and accommodating. Needed to do some catch up on work. The business rooms down by the lobby were great. Internet was fast and glass doors that close made it nice to have some phone conversations. Breakfast. Really nice. Good quick service. Great food and plenty of options for a great price. Some vending machines and bathrooms on bottom floor for some quick eats. I really liked the water bottle service. No charge- Which Included- an organized shelf of empty water bottles on each floor next to a water filter machine. You can take and fill up the bottles as you need and they encourage reusing them. This was great saving some cash on the streets while you are on your adventures and have plenty of water for the day.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Corina. She was cordial and had our room ready earlier than expected. Check-in can be done via a kiosk - which is incredibly efficient and easy to use. Of course, you could still have the staff do this on your behalf. Our room accommodated a queen-sized mattress, and there was a great deal of space with a couch and table in one corner of the room. The room was clean, the bed was medium (not too hard, not too soft), and there were enough plugs for all the electronics we carried. The bathroom was good sized, the shower had good water pressure, and the bath towels were large and soft. While we only stayed one night, it was incredibly comfortable and the price - for the area - was well worth it. There is no question we would patronize this location again during our next visit to London. Thanks to Ishor (Manager) and Corina (staff) for making the start of our vacation one to remember.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in July. The rooms are relatively basic but the staff is amazing. We ended up getting a complementary upgrade (thank you Gina!) because of an issue with our original bed. The AC worked really well (super important as it was a heat wave!) and we were also able to open the windows at night for fresh air. We could not get our phones to connect to the TV no matter what we tried, but we just used the provided channels. Location is AMAZING. Breakfast staff were also super kind.

Great position, 3 min walk from Holborn Tube station overlooking Lincoln Inn Field. 10 min walk from Covent Garden and loads of theatres, British Museum etc. Checked in by Ernest, we were 2 hours before official check-in but room was ready, great service. Room overlooking Kingsway. A little road noise but not a problem. A few niggles with the room but nothing serious. Nice bathroom with decent toiletries. Very comfortable. £140 for the night was about right for Central London. Happily use this hotel again.

I always stay at the Club Quarters in Trafalgar Square right down the street. They were booked this week, so I stayed in the CQ in Holborn. This has been supremely disappointing. Here are my problems: 1) Service: Awful. Front desk staff is strangely unfriendly. My wife had an emergency and needed a band-aid. They didn't have band-aids. Nobody seems to care. 2) We needed three sets of keys for two rooms. This is apparently impossible, as the third-issued key cancels the first-issued key. Nobody seems to care. 3) There are two outlets side-by-side in the room--one of them is covered in electrical tape. The other started smoking when we used it. 4) No answer when calling the front desk due to potential fire. No answer 30 mins later when I was just curious. Apparently they don't care. 5) We booked here to have conjoining rooms. This was assured to me. They even confirmed that the rooms were conjoining when we checked in and were going upstairs. Guess what: they aren't conjoining. This messed everything up when traveling with an 11 year old. A guy in front of me had an issue that seemed similar in nature--he had booked an upgraded room so he could have an early check-in, and they seemed to completely re-neg on that deal--so it wasn't just me. 6) The water station on our floor trickles water to the point it's not worth getting water. 7) The rooms are tiny. I mean tiny. DO NOT book here unless you're alone. Two adults have a hard time fitting themselves and two sets of luggage. I rarely write negative reviews, but this was actually comically awful. I'm still here. Can't wait to get out.

The location of the hotel is fantastic and you can easily travel west or east to major city landmarks. The price is fair for the quality. The positive: location and the free coffee and tea that is available 24h in the lobby. What can get better: the rooms could get an improvement but mainly I recommend spending some time giving some clarity on their website for the different room options. It is impossible to know what you are booking and even worse if doing it via the booking website.

Lovely hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was a good size, although a little worn in some areas. Great choice for breakfast, throughly enjoyed the selection. Fantastic location, and in walking distance of great places.

I guess prices are typically London, but I think for a4 star it should be better. The room was clean apart from a stain on the carpet, but the TV had to be 'fixed' twice and even then we could only get 2 channels. Staff were polite. We declined the buffet breakfast at £25 plus service charge . I don't think we will revisit.

Rooms: Great room. Comfortable with hot shower. The building is dated however is very well kept with no strange smell. Great location. Quiet but near city centre. Walking distance to british museum. Lots of amenities nearby. I like how the opposite street is a park so it is very quiet at night. Excellent customer service, friendly and helpful.

Quick and nice staff! Rooms are a pretty good size for London! The WiFi was bad and made it impossible to do work/anything(don’t get put in room 301). Plenty of connections though in case you want to play Nintendo 64!

Over priced. Poor check in. Breakfast staff helpful, but actual breakfast poor for the room price. Room very warm. Felt like they were just trading off their location rather than any real interest in providing a quality service. Would not stay there again.

Having stayed here before, when a work commitment required another stay in the area, we didn't need to wonder where to stay. The staff are very friendly and efficient. We were due to check-in at 3pm, but after traveling since 4am, we were delighted to find that our room was ready at 11am. We opted for the deluxe room and were pleased we did. It was a good size, clean, and well equipped with tea making facilities, two large screen TVs, fridge, safe, toiletries, free water and ice, a microwave, USB charging ports on the power sockets, and free WiFi. The location is also very convenient, with a plethora of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, and easily accessible public transport. Highly recommended.

Room was cute, but hot. Had everything you need and was clean. Staff seemed very nice, didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Location is brilliant for Covent Garden

Nice hotel which is well situated centrally and near to a tube station. Staff were excellent. Room was clean, warm, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. 1 star dropped as the air conditioning didn't appear to function properly leaving me to have open the window, nor did the phone (I had to use the loudspeaker when calling) and there was some small drainage issues in the shower while in use where the water lingered. The breakfast option was poor, and the layout of the hotel isn't great. Only the right-side lift goes to the lower floors where breakfast happens, for example. Besides that, a great stay for both nights. Would recommend for location and quality of staff.

Do not suggest! I stayed for a full week and specifically booked for the kitchenette only to be told they stopped stocking with cooking and eating item due to Covid. Room service was not available either. Both were stated in the description. My thermostat didn’t work in my room, housekeeping upon request - which is fine if they actually show up. Even when they did, dishes I carried up from downstairs were left in the sink. No coffee replacement and had to go down to ask for clean towels as phone went unanswered. Staff was a mix of friendly and awful. The friendly should go elsewhere so they can do good where it is appreciated.

Great location for Covent garden within about a 10 minute walk. We had to check-in in the early hours and the night staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was nice and the bed was really comfortable. There's no restaurant or bar in house but there's plenty of places nearby to get food (and there's no end of bars). We booked early so the price wasn't too bad for a central London hotel. Would stay here again.

Every staff person was friendly and helpful, from allowing us to leave our suitcases prior to check-in to accommodating special requests. They made it a joy to stay here. The rooms were clean and quiet, and ours had a lovely view of Lincoln's Inn Field park. The location is very convenient, yet a couple blocks removed from the busy streets. I'll be staying here again someday.

This hotel was fantastic. The room was spacious for a city hotel and the location was prime - very close to the Holborn underground station, but tucked away enough that the area was quiet. The staff was really wonderful. Everyone that I spoke with was friendly and quick to help. There was a mix-up with my reservation (my fault, not theirs), and the wonab at the front desk went above and beyond to get it sorted for me. The hotel was clean and had water filling stations with empty water bottles available on every floor. There isn't daily housekeeping (not sure if that's Covid-related or always the case), but the staff was quick to assist with things like trash disposal and restocking toiletries. Would definitely recommend.

Overall average stay, a few issues with the room being no phone, aircon was poor, missing kettle parts. No house keeping even though we should have had it on the third day and poor attention to the bins in the common area that kept getting full and we had to ask for them to be emptied. We stayed in the lower basement rooms, it was quiet which was nice but the TV reception was poor. All this said, the staff are friendly and really nice and the hotel manager assisted us at check out with our complaints.

Nice hotel, not much more than that. Got a room with no view only one small window so quite dark. Also - in my opinion, covid situation is no longer an excuse for providing only once in a week cleaning service. Location is convenient for tube, buses etc.

Very small rooms as one would expect. But when they advertise a room for three, you expect the room to be slightly bigger which it wasn't. The front desk person on day two was kind enough to move us to another room that was slightly roomier. AC doesn't work well and the TV is hard to get to work. Location is great. Lower your expectations from how they describe it in some reviews and what the website says and you will be okay. Generally of the quality of a decent Days Inn in the U.S., which is a budget motel. For 300 pounds a night, expected something nicer.

Great location. Clean. Complimentary coffee at the lobby. Nice breakfast. We spent 3 night, no housekeeping. Apparently you need to ask for it. Friendly staff. Great air conditioning. Need to make some video conference calls? There are a few meeting rooms available downstairs and the rooms are equipped for a team meeting.
