Unfortunately it was a horrendous experience. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and we asked for the rooms to be together (we are a family with children). First, the rooms were not close to each other and not ready (we arrived at 8pm...not early by any standards). No problem, a mistake happens, and they were able to solve it. However, at 9pm, when we were relaxing in our room we heard strange noises coming from the toilet. To our surprise, the toilet started overflowing, plenty of soap and water coming out of the wc, and the room was completely flooded (the white on the floor in the picture is foam!) . We complained and the response was that they do not have maintenance, that they were trying to find a solution... But nothing happened. Imagine that the water would not have been soapy water... Disgusting. It is supposed to be a nice hotel, and under normal circumstances it probably is, but the experience and the way it was NOT solved was really disappointing. Edited 25/10/2021 In the end Management of the hotel offered a refund and compensation (a voucher to spend another night).

We are locals and go the lounge here often. The decor is really lovely and so are the staff. Special shout to Emile and the lady with the long ginger hair. Otherwise, the food is decent, could add a couple more options to the menu but really like it here. Oh and attended an event upstairs and it was really good.👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

3 stars maybe a bit generous. The stay was alright. Room was comfortable, pretty big (although we were given a disabled access room, unsure why but that may be why it was a larger room). Generally, it didnt feel like a welcoming experience. Staff were not very friendly or interactive. The room was only set for one guest despite clearly being two, we had to request everything from extra robes to bathroom kits which seems like lazy hospitality. When booking, we had the deal where it gave us £50 to spend during our stay. When checking in, they were confused and we ended up getting £25 'voucher' scrawled on a post-it note. It was not an unpleasant stay however it was well below expectations for the cost, building and atmosphere. Overall, for the price paid there are definitely better options out there.

We rented a hall/bar for a party and it felt plush and well maintained; all the facilities were clean. The bar had a small selection of mocktails which was a disappointment. The waiters were attentive and happy to help even when some members of the party proved to be difficult. The food was above average but nothing stellar.

Stayed here last weekend. Booked as a group we were all on the same floor, which was great. Beautiful hotel but rooms too hot and couldn't change the temperature. Was really close to the station, shopping centre, lots of restaurants and the venue we were attending to watch ABBA Voyage. Loved also that we could walk to the venue from the hotel via the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

I liked the personal touch of when you enter the room and your name is displayed on the tv. Service was great, needed an iron and they brought it to my room after 10 minutes from placing the order. The food was also ok, and the staff very nice. The room was too hot though and I could hear the train early morning( was waking me up). Also, what I didn’t like was that they de-activated my room key for a 20£ room service because they didn’t have my card details, as I was there for work and my company booked the room. This was not expected from a 5stars hotel, as I would have paid anyway when checking out.

A very nice hotel that we'll return to. Staff were a mixture of good and very good. Rooms were tidy and well kept. Minibar price list is on the tablet in room. If your TV doesn't turn on, check that the socket is on which is behind the TV on the wall...took me a while. Beds are very comfortable, has a split between two mattresses which I'm not a massive fan of but was very comfy so no real drama. I ordered room service on my first night, ordered lobster and prawn sandwich and chips. The sandwich had been charred on the main grill I think and tasted of burnt meat, had to cut the sides off. Also contained very little filling and was a pretty big disappointment for £17. Chips were good.. Breakfast is ordered, there's a few pastries and things to collect. I had the full English with 2 poached eggs, 1 very thick rasher of bacon, 1 sausage, half a tomato, a small hash brown and small pot of beans. Plus coffee and fresh, high quality, juices. The bacon rather was very good day 1, but all fat day 2. I asked for it to be replaced and got a piece which was 50/50 fat and bacon. Many people will enjoy this but I like meat only bacon and often cut the fat off. As it was good quality ingredients it was very filling for its size. I also had an Acai bowl with fruits and almonds, very tasty and dairy free. The bar, sitting area and restaurant are all close on the ground floor as you walk in and are well decorated with modern twists and plant decoration. In room there's a hotel branded hoodie to borrow and 2 dressing gowns/disposable slippers. This hotel is in the perfect location for Westfield Stratford and easy access to the Central lines and more. You'll need to give a £50 per night deposit, I'm awaiting my balance to be refunded.

A fabulous Hotel, very well situated for North, East and the City of London. Always comfortable, clean and very well presented. The staff are amazing with a particular well done going to Enya and Yana on reception who have gone above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Well done everyone at the Stratford Hotel, perfect in every way, simply the place to stay! 😊

Jesus Christ, could they train the staff at a time when people are not having breakfast? No coffee because of a manager training staff at 8am is bad joke. Reception was ok, but the short blond manager is a complete idiot. The danish design flair is attractive on instagram, but is inconsistent as an experience. While the hotel looks good, the staff only cares about the interior design, people are a nuisance. Let’s not even get started about the lack of diverse sizes in the bathrobes. The douchbag party for some Pharma company on the mezzanine with bad 80’s hits and canapés exemplifies the whole experience.

Came here on a Tuesday evening with my partner, did not stay in the hotel but came for drinks. The attitude from staff there was so hostile and unwelcoming, I came to the bar to order our drinks and the lady behind the till (directly in front of me) tried to ignore me a few times before taking notice of me as I then had to raise my voice to get her sour faced attention (it was not busy at all). Unfortunately I do not have her name but she is fair skinned with long gingery red hair. I’m not sure what high horse she was stuck up on that day but she was just plain rude, arrogant and should not be in customer service if this is how she thinks it’s acceptable to serve someone. She definitely needs a lesson in basic manners and needs to under go more thorough training if she wants to keep working there.

Not the hotel's fault but it took over an hour to get there from Central London. I arrived just before 9:00 pm. I asked if room service was available and was told that it would finish at 9:15. Went up to my room. Couldn't find a room service menu. Called reception who told me it was on the tablet. Small device on bedside table. Couldn't get it to turn on. Called reception again who said they'd put me through to room service so they could take an order. No answer. I went down to reception and the man said come with me and we'll sort something out. Got to the room service area but it was now closed. They did offer me a pizza, which I didn't want. The reason the tablet wouldn't turn on was because it wasn't charged. It hadn't been placed correctly in the charging stand. I thought about having a snack from the snack cupboard but there was no tarrif information. I gave up the idea of eating. I didn't like the fact that you charged the room rate plus £50 straight away. I've never stayed in a hotel that does that. Normally they do a pre-authorization. I had to wait until the day after I checked out to get my £50 refund. There were about 10 of us at breakfast and we were all discussing the wedding the previous day. This meant that we were there for quite a long time. The staff were clearing everything away and they were making it clear that they wanted us to leave, including some glaring. The pump on the shower gel, in the bathroom, didn't work. Apart from all that it was marvelous! The room was a nice design. The bed was very comfortable.

The room was awesome - super comfortable and cozy and had everything you would want right at your disposal. They provide sweatshirts to wear during your stay which we LOVED and have actually never seen before at a hotel. They also had mini cheddars in the room, a large assortment of drinks, the best shampoo and conditioner (which is very rare) and the room service menu is delicious and very reasonably priced.

The room was very nice and spacious and clean. We had an upgrade to a 'Larger' room which was actually a disable access room (when we asked a reception to change they confirmed all or most Larger rooms are disabled access rooms) the gadgets in the room were easy to us & useful, like using the tablet to request services. (Although 3/5 of the requests made via the tablet were not responded too so we used the phone) The location is great as super close to Westfield shopping center but it is behind the center so the surrounding location didn't get lots of traffic & congestion. The main hotel staff didn't come across too friendly but the bar staff & the morning waiting staff during breakfast were all bubbly and friendly. Breakfast was 4 stars, very tasty (but service was slow & it was bot busy, it was also half cold, so not quite 5 stars - I had avo toast and the avocado felt like it had come out of the freezer but was delicious like it was just made fresh). Overall a nice stay, we would visit again.

I ordered two drinks, one beer and one glass of white wine, I have been waiting for 15 minutes, drinks never arrived, they have been sitting on the tray, when I asked if the drinks were mine, the staff said yes and rather than help me I actually ran my own drinks to my table. I didn't know it was self-service ,I thought you had waiting staff to run the drinks. I never had to run my own drinks in a hotel and I used to work in them too.

Fabulous location. Literally a 6 minute train journey from Kings Cross then you walk out of the station and into the hotel. Could not have been easier/quicker to get too. We were here for an event at the Copperbox Arena and it was perfect for this. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and we were blown away by the amazing lobby/bar. Fabulous stay.

The Hotel is great and when you want to spent time in that part of London, close to the Olympic Garden and/or Olympic Stadium(West Ham). It’s beautiful designed and the rooms are great. The restaurant is very good and the Saturday night we spent there they had some live music as well. In addition they offer a full equipped gym, which is very spacious with a lot of equipment, close to a real gym. Only downside was the staff at the reception not very helpful and an arrogant twist. I was under impression whatever question being asked or task they had to do really bothered them.

Decent modern room with plenty of space and great walk in shower. Late night check in was a time wasting farce. Breakfast was just adequate, so pretty poor for the price. Location is well, Stratford. So if you need to be in Stratford it would be great. That said it’s only 8mins from St Pancras on a pretty regular train and it wasn’t crazy expensive.

Absolutely lovely hotel well situated opposite the train station and next to a shopping centre. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the room was beautifully presented. Lots of choice for breakfast both hot and cold and many different choices of milk. The room was lovely and warm and there were robes and hoodies provided. The room also had a walk in shower, a deep bath and night lighting which was very relaxing. The only slight downside was that the toilet was very low which may be an issue for less able customers.

The Stratford Hotel London is a chic & modern hotel situated just a step from Stratford International and a few steps down to Westfield Shopping Mall. We arrived at dawn and the lights were really nice and pretty. We walk in through the lounge and bar, really modern, warm and cosy atmosphere. At the corner by the lifts is the hotel reception area Reed Diffuser scented by Jo Malone (if I remember correctly). The check in process was swift and we were on our way to our room. A lil back story, London is our first stop to our 3 weeks Europe trip. Our journey to get to The Stratford Hotel London, we flew about 17 hours to Heathrow, 2 hours to pass customs, immigration & baggage claim. Another 1 hour on the Elizabeth line to arrive to the hotel. So after check in, we got into our room, cosy and warm. It had all the amenities a 4 stars should have, thick towels bathrobe and hotel slippers. Ritual’s shower and shampoo was also a good touch. Really comfy bed and nice shower. Once again they have great lighting throughout the room. The only downside after we enter the room was when we open the curtain to say hello to London. We were facing the loading bay of the shopping mall and train track. Not a big deal and it didn’t bother us much as we were also mostly out. But would have been epic if we have some view of East London. On the second day, after housekeeping, we noticed that the 2 glass bottled filled with drinking filtered water was left empty. After checking with reception, we found out that the water is only provided on the first night stay. If we need more water, we have to bring down the glass bottles to be filled at the bar. We just have to let the bartenders know that we are guests staying at the hotel. Strange but let’s try. So the quest to get drinking water journey begins. I went down with 2 empty glass bottles. Told the bartender that I am a guests and just need to fill up the bottles with filtered water. I think each bottle is about 600ml. Each time I went down i have to use the same script when I see a different bartender otherwise I have to pay. Imagine going down and up for water about 3 or 4 times in 2 days stay. Apart from the effort, waiting at the bar to get the bartender and then waiting for the bartender to get glass bottles filled from the back. I appreciate the effort and don’t mind waiting but it can be awkward. Sometimes the bar gets quite busy. In the end, I just decided to do a pit stop at Waitrose in Westfield to get 2 bottled water everyday till our check out. We stayed in total 5 nights mid Jan 24. We heard from some friends from London that tap water is safe to drink but the hotel doesn’t indicate that in the room with a sign that the tap water is safe to drink. Or perhaps consider putting filtered hot and cold water stations for guests on each floor or just 1 at the lobby. Thank you for reading till the end. All in all we can’t complain about our stay at The Stratford London Hotel. Good location, great design, clean and comfy. Useful outdoor area for smoking with heater lamp to keep us warm during the cold. Close by one of the biggest mall in the UK if you like shopping. We find the mall convenient for food, clothes and other supplies for our travel.

If possible, avoid this hotel. It has dramatically declined in quality since it opened. As a local resident of East Village, where this hotel is situated, I used to recommend it to family and friends, even choosing to dine and stay here myself. However, those days are over due to the noticeable deterioration in both services and accommodations, coupled with an unjustifiable increase in prices. The most disappointing change has been in not only the room conditions, but the restaurant - the switch from a reasonably priced buffet breakfast to an overpriced à la carte menu, a move that smacks of greed and a complete lack of customer consideration. Currently staying here, I can attest that the service is deplorable, with guests waiting an eternity for meals they used to easily access from the buffet. For those seeking value and quality service, better alternatives are available nearby, which are striving to enhance their offerings and prioritize guest satisfaction. I will not patronize this hotel again and urge others to steer clear until it realigns its priorities towards customer care. Alasan Ceesay Local resident

Booked a standard room then had chance to upgrade a few days before check-in. We got the upgrade to a larger room for £12 which we thought great. After check in went to our larger room only to find it was a room specialised for people with disability issues. Found it to be a bit disturbing that an able body person would be put into this room with the adapted fittings etc when we had paid for a standard room and possibly a genuine person who was disabled may have been told that they have no rooms available.

Hotel is really great- stylish, clean and very easy to reach (1 Min by foot) from the Stratford Int station or the London City Airport. Be aware though that it takes around 30-40 Min to central London. Quiet rooms. There was limo and sweets at the reception, which was a nice touch.

Stayed at The Stratford for two nights during an event I was attending at Excel London. The hotel is very nice, modern and cost effective. The rooms were nice and very clean, towels were super clean and plush. If you are looking for a comfortable place, Five Star, and doesn’t cost too much, The Stratford fits the bill. There is also a HUGE shopping mall right next to the hotel, it’s one of the biggest I have ever seen. It also has a lot of restaurants options, I mean LOTS. If you don’t have time to scour around the mall for something to eat, the hotel restaurant was also really good. The breakfast buffet was good. £20 for continental breakfast buffet or £24 for continental plus hot items.

Lovely hotel. Great restaurant, decent bar. Rooms are really good, plenty of high level USB sockets, walk in shower. Only problem is the lack of lighting controls - you can't turn some of the lights off.

Georgi and the staff at The Stratford are amazing, very welcoming and cant do enough for you to make it feel like you are at home. The coffee, the food the service is impecable. I would highly reccommend popping in for a quick coffee, bite BUT I bet it makes you stay over.

Had a fantastic stay at The Stratford for two nights. Tried the different restaurants which were both outstanding. Really cool, modern decor with very spacious and comfortable rooms. Very easy access to central London from Stratford station just around the corned.

We are just back from a two-night stay at The Stratford and... wow! This place is just amazing: modern, clean, light, airy. We ate in E20 Kitchen, had pizza on the E20 Terrace after we returned from ABBA Voyage, and also in Allegra restaurant, and the food in E20 Kitchen was especially good. (The food photos are the pork belly starter and baked trout main - both were sublime.) The hotel is truly dog-friendly and all of the staff made such a huge fuss of our Pug. And that brings me onto the best part of The Stratford - the staff. Put simply, these are some of the best hotel staff we have ever encountered. Nothing was too much trouble and service with a smile is an understatement. They absolutely made the hotel. We cannot wait to return, and we definitely will. Thank you!

We have just had an excellent stay at this great hotel. The big difference was the staff, especially Tommy on reception who could not have been more helpful. The whole team just 'got it' in terms of the great service and the little things that make the difference i.e. when we arrive, our rooms weren't quite ready (we were early) and so we were asked to take a seat in the bar / lounge. Instead of having to check when our rooms were ready, as each room became available, Tommy brought the key over to us. nice touch. The rooms are really well thought through and laid out and the beds are really comfortable. Food and drink menus were good and reasonably priced. Great location and overall just a great hotel. If you're in the area, this is a must stay!

This was my second stay at this hotel so far this year. My first experience was fab and my second was just as good! The staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are very clear with lovely bathrooms and the most comfy beds! I’m desperate to find out where the pillows are from because they are the best ever! Returning home to mine was very disappointing! This time we (we booked 3 rooms) also had breakfast which was buffet style but great quality food and plenty of it. We have also used the rooms available for training and these are great too. The tech is fantastic and coffee/food service throughout the day is amazing! I’m hoping to book our rooms here again when I attend some training in November.

Good hotel overall, check-in was slow and my room was not ready until 5. The bed was comfortable and the location was right next to Westfield. Pleasant staff and cleaners and a new building design. I’m not a fan of the natural stone sinks, and also the water temperature was set a little bit too hot.

This hotel is such a treasure - I stayed for 5 nights and was very satisfied with the service, the food, the accommodations and everything in between. The only "issue" I had was that I requested a coat to be dry cleaned and the staff forgot to grab it, even after I called and asked them to pick it up. But, all is well that ends well because they took care great care of it the next day and the front desk manager, Cosmin, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and I was satisfied. He even called the next day to make sure they cleaned it properly and I was happy. The location is also phenomenal - across the street from the underground, less than 100 steps from the Westfield Mall in East London, which is HUGE, and walking distance from the Olympic Park, which has some great outdoor activities and excellent restaurants. Overall, great experience, I will stay at this hotel again for sure!

Attending a wedding nearby so didn't get to enjoy the full experience of bar/restaurant but the room and amenities were beautiful. Great bathroom with enormous bath. Lovely robes etc. Only downside is the need for an eye mask at night - there are SO many lit up monitors and buttons around the room; a number of lights (e.g. in doorway to bathroom) come on automatically and there isn't a way to disable them. Likewise the wardrobe lights are all automatic and create a problem at night.

Stayed here for one night recently. The hotel is in close proximity to Stratford International station and Westfield. The hotel itself is very modern, we stayed in the standard double room. The bed was comfortable. The room had a wireless charger present and a tablet to view menus etc. A stocked mini bar was also present. The TV had a selection of premium channels such as Sky Sports etc which was useful. For the price it’s hard to beat for value for a modern, clean, updated hotel. Would recommend.

It was a fabulous experience. The hotel was my home for more than 10 days while my actual home gets ready. Staff was super welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was clean, tidy, and cozy. And on top of that they have one of the most yummy pizza in the area highly recommend the margarita. I will definitely recommend the hotel for my family and friends and whenever I’m in town again this is my go to second home for sure 🤍.

We went to see the ABBA show and stayed here. Right next to Stratford International station and so very handy. Lively modern hotel, with a good size room. Staff were friendly and polite, and the room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and quality linens. The room was dark and quiet and so we slept very well. Breakfast was very tasty with a good selection available.

Our 3 week stay was incredible! Easy access, we got to check in early, our room was perfect size and clean! Staff was friendly and all helpful. I have disabilities and also never been to London, we had many questions...staff always helped. Ana and Leticia greeted at night and made us feel welcome, and things rand smoothly. Room service, dinner, and the breakfast; fantastic! For the mall being around, always felt safe and it was quiet. I highly recommend!

Stopped off for a drink on the way to the station. I love the ambience here. Tall ceilings and lots of natural light. The bar staff were fantastic. James served us an Old fashion and I had a margarita. Service is great. Positioned opposite The Stratford International station, this is also a stones throw from Westfield shopping centre. Highly recommend a drink at the bar or within the seated areas where there is also a fireplace. Outdoor seating looks fun especially in the summer and the light bulb lights as the sun sets.

Overall, a positive stay. The staff was friendly, and the hotel itself was clean and beautiful. However, there was a minor inconvenience as the power outlet in the bathroom near the mirror was not functional. Despite this, it did not significantly impact my positive impression.
