Lovely stalls for fresh fruit and vegetables. Good variety and value for money. Works out much cheaper than a supermarket, so very good for those on a tight budget, a family to feed or vegetarians. Lots of other interesting stalls and shops as well. Very close to Walthamstow tube and bus station

Located near Walthamstow Central Bus and Tube Station, this is a very small shopping centre that exits onto one of the largest outdoor markets in London. A few high street stores are located here, including Boots and Asda. Between the indoor and outdoor shopping areas, you can spend a few hours exploring. The bus terminal outside provides access to most of London and Waltham Forest, and the tube a direct link to Central London. A Travelodge Hotel is located right next to the station if you are planning on staying in the area.

Great selection of one off and chain stores, food court upstairs, and toilets. Very clean and we'll presented inside, and outside there's a high street with numerous stores and stalls selling allsorts.

Handy little car park for quick local shopping and access for high street. Parking rates are reasonable considering its located at busy hot spot of walthamstow central.

This place used to be good bit in recent years its gone a bit downhill, still very clean and tidy but not much else. Good if you're looking to find copyright infringing merchandise or trade in some games at cex, but that's about it.

Your quiet area isn't quiet because you play music. I need to make a phone call in quiet discrete place about banking stuff but I couldn't because your quiet area isn't quiet the music is still loud.

Perfect for a shopping spree whether you're looking for food, clothes, shoes, bags, cosmetics etc. I often go here first before heading to Central London to check whether I can find what I am looking for. In terms of sitting down to eat or drink coffee, I think there isn't much space during busy periods and maybe this needs reviewing. Anyway, would recommend to anyone coming to the area.

The mall is clean, modern, and well-maintained. The selection of stores includes popular high street brands as well as independent boutiques, and there are also several cafes and restaurants for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. The mall is easily accessible by public transport, with several bus routes and a nearby train station. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to 17 and Central for anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience in Walthamstow.

Decent coffee, I'd give it a 7/10. However, why is this the only store (I've come across) in 17&Central that doesn't accept cash? Legal form of tender, last time I checked.

This is my very first time seeing or Knowing of 17&Central. I stumbled on it purely by chance whilst looking for somewhere else. I must say it was inviting. I intend to visit someday soon.

It is still a work in progress after the fire back in 2019, and as such, it can be unattractive in places, but it is getting there slowly. The new customer amenities opened last week, and the urinals in gent’s toilets have been out of use from day one. On the bright side, apart from the big chain stores like ASDA, TK Maxx, Sports Direct, Blue Inc., etc., there are some new small, independent businesses which is good to see, and I wish them all to make it big soon.

The market was lovely, the shopping center is still renovating so there was a lot of noise. First cafe always served up the best full English breakfast.

Fun has developed and improved since less fast food options to buy from but there are food shops near by in walking distance

If you're coming here for the first time, it's an absolute nightmare. There's no signage in the carpark to inform you of where you are. I went by maps looking for Asda. I had to ask a local so I could even determine where the entrance to the shops was from the car park. Once inside there was again no signage to point you on the direction of the shops. I paid £2.00 for a grand total of 11 minutes in this car park.

Could've been much better but alas, high rise apartment slum is on the way instead of more shops.

Glad to see it's finally recovering from the fire. I worked there in 2017 when it happened and the unit my store was in has finally got a reopening date with a new Black Sheep Coffee! When it's your local centre you always want it to do well and I think it's looking better than ever.

Came here to the visit the Cex but really nice mall, easy to navigate around and has ample parking. Just a short walk from Walthamstow Central station too and I think it rebranded as it was named The Mall previously? Great range of stores to cater for everyone.

Had a couple of hours to kill, went round it and had an hour and a half to kill. Oh the CAR PARK is not free. I found that out the hard way, no signs going into the carpark for Asda that it's a paying car park until you park up and walk to the shops then you start to see some signs.

Nice place to shop plenty of stores, The Mall here has seen much change over the years but now and again I'll find an excuse to wander round the very limited space. Some decent shops but for a Mall it isn't very large. Two floors but second floor is more of a veranda than a floor. Toilet facilities are satisfactory and plenty of parking space. Some notable shops within the Mall are Sports Direct, Asda and Shoe Locker etc...

Sadly the restuarant area upstairs conveniently burnt to a crisp following a fire from the Hotwings section of the kfc kitchen (those wings were HOT), but now after a miracle economic upturn to their finances through a miracle insurance claim they are building an eating area there, they couldn't have caused this better if they tried to?

  • 3/5 Sonny J. 1 year ago on Google
Do you love Asda? Like spending time trawling through stripy T-shirts in TkMaxx? Can't get enough of looking at 50p DVD's in CeX? Want to buy 8 pairs of bright white socks from Sportsdirect for £2.99? Well this is the place for you. It has definitely improved since the fire and the future plans for a fancy food hall look rather exciting.

  • 4/5 Sabana S. 10 months ago on Google
Baby facilities are excellent, top floor of the mall. Currently doing it up so some shops closed but decent choice of shops at the moment. Some of the smaller, independent shops have had to close due to rent, which is a shame for small businesses. Car park is decent, easy to use as no barriers, drive in and pay by time traced through number plate. Market is good for many things, fruit and veg especially, and some interesting places to eat or have coffee.

They have certainly updated this place since I was last here (20yrs ago lol) lots of shops & coffee places. Market still there but not as good as it use to be (in my opinion) Very busy Bus station & train station there good links

developers have tried to rebrand this place for the upper-middle newcomers and ironically they arent the ones using it. maybe cos it's still a hub for ethnic minorities which they don't want to be around! this place was a billion times better when it was the mall with the KFC (best one in stow) subway and BK upstairs. get rid of the snobby overpriced food shacks and dystopian flatblocks

I dislike places of this type as being temples of the obsessive desire to consume for consumption's sake that seems to be the British religion of the 21st century. Truly the opium of the people. I'm adding one star for the presence of the bookshop, a rare outpost of education in a society that worships stupidity. Here the staff are truly exceptional, and are able to find any book they have in stock at the drop of a hat

The Mall is in the middle of a refurbishment, it needs more shops and expanding this would make It a much better shopping experience for everyone.

  • 5/5 Tonya C. 2 years ago on Google
There is some great shops in the mall from asda to tkmax card factory clothes shops and phone shops, shoe shops ECT their is shops for everyone even a pop up job centre hun now in the mall for people to use the only down side to get to the toilets you have to go back to the main entrance and go near costa coffee and go like a maze just to get to the toilets so if your desperate for the loo be very quick or could have accidents they need to make another part of the building for loos like they had before

I visited on quiet Friday afternoon to pick up an item from an office within the mall, it was my first time visiting this shopping centre and my first impression was "this place is clean". There are numbers of high street stores like TK Maxx, Boots, Costa Coffee etc and makes this mall a convenient place to shop for your day-to-day necessities with plenty of groceries stores outside in the market.

Very child friendly! Great clean small and compact mall. Very family friendly with security that is visible and a good shop selection. All essentials in one place. The biggest asset to the mall is the cleansing team. They do an excellent job my child had to go toilet and the facility was in immaculate condition!

Lots of shops and nice bars close to the High Street Market in Walthamstow. You have a nice small park where you can enjoy the sun. The toilets inside the building are big and new.

17&Central....meh (Selborne walk)is ok for a walk through along the way to the market but would not really say that it has a great variety of shops as opposed to a lot of other shopping centres around and a real shame that there is no longer any sort of eatery on the upper level which has been replaced by toilets. What was wrong with the toilets down stairs.bring back the food court and pink cadillac

I have mixed feelings regarding my experience here. I wanted to buy a new pair of trainers and initially went to Sports Direct, but left as the service was non existent - literally there was nobody to serve on the upper floor!! So off to JD Sports and what a difference. A young man called Jermome served me and what a pleasure that was. Sincere and friendly, we even shared a laugh together.
