Its a good place to go for shopping. It has good connectivity by both bus and trains. It has ample place for car parking. It has shops/ brands like Tesco extra , Dorothy perkins, Riverside, Poundland , Card factory, etc. There is also a small softplay center called discovery if you want to take your kids / toddlers on hourly basis. It has a food court 🍽🥗🍔, public toilets with baby changing rooms🚼but they are not usually clean🚫. The shopping center has ♿ wheelchair accesible parking , lifts and accesaible entrance. Generally its crowded during weekends.

A small but well equipped shopping centre, with many recognisable high street brands and eateries it caters for a small but regular footfall of customers.

A great day ruined by a parking ticket. Who would go to Surrey Quays to park up, other than to go to the shops? On 31-Oct-23, my wife, son and I enjoyed the facilities at SQ. We spent £300 in various of the shops there (good value) and topped it off with coffee and cake, however, on 16-Nov-23, I received a letter from CP Plus telling me, because I had stayed longer than 3 hours, I had to pay a fine. Along with charging retailers top dollar to rent retail space, the owners of SQ mug poor pensioners like me who are trying to keep those hard-pressed retailers afloat. I will not revisit SQ until I get my £61.50 refunded, which I suspect will be never.

Lovely little shopping centre with a small variety of high street shops including The Range and Tesco superstore. Good choice of food and drink on the first floor. Starbucks is always very popular (busy). Ideally located three minutes from Surrey Quays on the Overground.

Living near Canada Water, it's pretty handy having Surrey Quays Shopping Centre around. It's got the basics covered – you know, for those quick shopping runs when you don't want to travel far. But let's be real, the place feels like a blast from the past, like straight out of the 90s. It's got this old-school vibe that's kind of charming but also screams for an update. You can tell it's seen better days. The good news? There's talk about this big regeneration project for the area. Fingers crossed, right? The area's got loads of potential, and a fresh, modern Surrey Quays could really liven things up. Here's hoping we get a revamped version that keeps up with the times!

Very convenient if you live in the area as there is a big supermarket, mobile phone companies, banks and pharmacies,.. but it is clear it knew better times.

Clean, ussualy empty in the mornings. Somehow the clothing from all shops seems similar and looks stuck in time. Variety of shops, from food to repair services (IT, dry cleaners etc) offer the chance to solve diverse issues in one place.

Pretty much a less busy shopping center but has a lot of shops. Houses a Tesco supermarket as well. There is an area outside for kids to play and few taco and coffee trucks as well. There’s a little flower shop nearby. Owner sells pretty nice flowers and potted plants.

This is my local shopping centre. It used to have some fab shops in but over the years they've all closed down and I go there very seldomly these days. The whole place is rather run down and some of the units are empty. Bit depressing really. So.. Bad bits- few decent shops, especially clothes. Those remaining are the cheaper sort you often get in malls that aren't doing well, so LOADS of mob phone shops and the Pound store. I dislike the Tesco especially. The staff are poorly trained, poor quality fruit and veg and it's huge so difficult if you just want to grab a few things. The car park is run by a private company and they WILL ticket you if you're a moment over 3 hrs! Good things- you do get 3 hrs of free parking without having to buy anything. The Range isn't bad though you always have to queue for ages at the checkout. Boots, Clarks shoes and the Body shop are still there from the old days. Starbucks, if you like their coffee, but its rather dark as it's internal. There used to be a few basic eatery's upstairs but haven't eaten there for years now so no idea what's left. And that's about it! Oh, and there are free toilets (though not the nicest last time I went there)up by the Range.

I like Surrey Quays, takes a bit of work to get too but well worth the journey. Best part is the local ecology park. Shame about K1. Money talks....

Not too many things there bit very practical for locals looking for day to day hardware and groceries. There, you can find: a Tesco, a sports direct, a hardware store, a phone repair shop, a burger king and many more food, clothes and other types of shops.

Absolutely depressing. Looks like a place where people go to commit suicide. Very dated, uninviting, uninteresting, most shops were closed.. Do not bring your kids upstairs to the playground or you'll have to deal with their nightmares for weeks.

Surrey Quays Shopping centre is quite extensive but showing signs of being a little bit old and shabby. Great parking facility with plenty of space but carefully observe the regulations and leave within the allotted three hours maximum allowed free or prepare for a fine!

A lovely local shopping centre for local people. Now owned and well managed by British Land. Will disappear soon and replaced with concrete flats for chumps who like spending their life in hotel rooms. Spot the local history board to find out why they should be made of sustainable timber instead

Fairly good store but location gives it that uplift nice docks around the back, nice walks, good coffee shops near by and cinema and bowling close. So a day could be planned here if that's all what you enjoy. Ps. Bring old bread so many birds at the docks can be fun for little ones

Always a pleasure to stop by this little but very useful shopping mall. I always find everything I'm looking for. Its specific variety of shops allows you to have all your shopping needs covered by the time you go from one entrance to the opposite. I love it! And now they also opened a climbing wall thingy!

Nostalgic feel. Was fun to visit, as I hadn’t been for a while. Considerable construction taking place in the vicinity so would be interesting to see how this mall will fair overtime as it is quite outdated. 70/30 ratio in terms of the amount of stores that are actually trading within. Somewhat barren. The staff at Holland and Barrett’s were absolutely pleasant and helpful - whatever their motivations - I appreciate good service. THE FOOD COURT: again most weren’t even servicing customers. The one that was, Burger King was STRUGGLING. No order, no timekeeping. I was extremely patient but it wasn’t acceptable and honestly I got second hand embarrassment for them. Nothing fast about the food

Came here during a visit to the O2 Arena for a concert. This shopping centre has pretty much everything that all these major commercial centres have. Also plenty of parking and good transport connections (bus & metro).

The shopping centre is ok but this is one of those places with a huge parking lot outside. This is such a bad idea for a host of reasons, especially since we want to become more sustainable. This area is well served by public transport and so does not need this car parking at all; we could instead use this land for valuable apartments or more businesses

I like this place, I am over there quite often. This shopping doesn't have too much to offer which is a shame as this is a nice busy place and could bring a lot of money in the future. My favourite place over there is Rivers Island ,they have such a nice stuff ,you can go crazy.I love it .The second shop is my favourite of all is called Range .This shop is just perfect with the service and products .If you want to change something at your home for a small amount of money then Range is perfect for it.Go and check yourself, sure you will love it !

Is a supermarket shopping with no interesting shops or anything to captivate us going there. The Tesco is massive however could have much more variety of products - badly managed. The food areas is small and limited.

Lovely area, really improved in the last couple of years. Big Tesco, Poundland, JD, Holland and Barrett, it even comes with a climbing wall and free toilets. In summer there are activities outside and the food market is only a 5 minute walk by the lake. Great spot

Always come here when I need to get a few things, the range and Tesco are my two favourited shops. It’s nice all in all but it’s sad to see the degradation: empty shops, poor toilets, and a really ugly floor pattern. My child really likes the phone case stand that’s always there, not that he has one, oh no he’s too young for that 😂😂. He is in awe of the selection and when he gets his phone knows exactly what one he wants. Overall it’s good if you want a few things and for a big shop.

Place is dated and in need of TLC. We use mostly Tesco there for food shopping, and Holland and Barrett for supplement.Anything interesting inside - not really - like going back in time. Momoda sushi place worth mentioning. Good sushi 🍣.

As a shopping centre it has the basics such as good parking and a reasonable selection of shops but is a pain to walk to from anywhere anyone actually lives (as you have to traverse the enormous car park). A bigger pain is the early closing times of the entire centre including food offerings with the exception of Tesco. As a centre it has good bones and could be much better.

Surrey Quays at the moment is local. It has most of the basics you would need. Although, its a shame a few of the shops have left the building Ernest Jones, Carphone to name a few ..possibly Covid related .😔 Still Surrey has a Tesco, Range+ Iceland, Superdrug and many others ..the banks too .It has good variety with room for improvement but

Don't go to the car valet service. I paid for the full service, and all they did was use a hoover to clean the inside. When I questioned them the servicer just said "yes thats the full service". I could have done it myself and saved £30.

A very sad shopping Centre. Obviously has seen better times. There are bargains to be had at the remaining stores....but think more of bath mats and crayons rather than carpets and and works of art. Still it was clean and there was the odd gem as well as branded Supermarkets. If not driving, the train station is very near as are buses etc.

This used to be a great place to shop with a variety of stores, huge on site parking, large tesco store etc. However, I visited yesterday and was sadden to see how the covid pandemic had taken its toll. Loads of shops were gone for good and plenty of shops had permanently closing, urgent sale signs. Such a sad sight. In a few years time I feel like this will be a online fulfillment centre of some sorts and all shops closed.

  • 3/5 Louis C. 3 years ago on Google
A rather simple small shopping centre that provides an array of essential shops. Compared to other shopping centres it is limited in the scope of luxury stores. However, if you need to find some common stores it provides just enough to suit your shopping needs. It is easy to navigate and there are no areas inside for just sitting a people watching as is common in other centres. Before visiting you must check the stores available as you could make a wasted journey.

I've known this place for 30 years but don't live here. Not much has changed but it still serves the local community well after all this time, but an upgrade is definitely overdue, though i've heard they're knocking it down to make way for a proper high street for SE16, it makes sense considering the area had become more affluent over the years, this could also help to further gentrify nearby Deptford.

I have great memories of coming here every other weekend as a kid in the 90's with my family. It had a nice vibe then, was newish, looks beautiful the outside was gorgeous with brick parking and lake etc, the inside was clean and had a running fountains, once the Bill cast were here doing meet and greet. There was a good range of shops, such as BhS, Dixons, Currys, Adams, etc. It has barely changed in its facade and still looks the same but tired looking and with not many good shop options to attract me to come, due to slow death of bricks and mortar shops it is real shame that shopping centers are left looking sorry and neglectful. I hope the Canada water redevelopment brings fresh investment to this shopping center. I will always have good memories of it.

To be honest, this shopping centre needs to be updated. It hasn't changed much in over 30 years! The Tesco's there is always packed, but they have a wide range of products, which are good. The Boots pharmacy is OK... Unfortunately the staff let it down. Not friendly & make you feel like you're bugging them if you have a query. The Range is huge, but very messy & never enough staff on the tills in busy periods. I only go to Surrey Quays if absolutely necessary. I don't enjoy coming here. In summer the wetlands are full of life & quite pleasant to just sit & watch the wildlife.

This shopping mall, is small, and used to be filled with nice stores, now it's basic with literally Tesco being the main feature! There is an eyebrow threading, on the ground floor. Really upset me, completely ruined my eyebrows, she shorten the length, thinned it out, when I told her not to, she messed up on one and pretended it was nothing! Honestly the worse eyebrow threader in South london!

  • 4/5 Nick G. 1 year ago on Google
It’s a shopping centre in the British sense. It sounds like it should be grand but is mainly a Tesco extra, big department store and a lot of shoe and mobile phone shops. Don’t get me wrong, it does have a food court on the 1st floor - eg. Burger King next to a large soft play, a pleasant Starbucks and card shop. But don’t expect to spend a day here, a couple hours. Nearby there is good-sized Decathalon around a square lake which has ducks and swans. And the transport links with Canada Water bus station and the overground are fine. Walk a bit further East and you’ll find an Odeon and Hollywood Bowl.

An ok place, if you fancy somewhere different for a change. Bit dated now, not very crowded, easy to get to Canada water on the tube, or drive parking is free. Really Yes.

Very clean shopping centre. Good amount of security staff. I'm a visitor but I was still very pleased with my visit

Ageing shopping mall, but good choice at Tesco's with decent selection of fresh produce, bread, etc.... Also really good customer service at Tesco. I broke a bottle of whisky just after paying for it and they replaced it no questions asked.

Would rather travel to stratford westfield or white city for that matter as there is nothing here. The shops that bevome empty are filled with cheap market style clothes shops that also dont last. I assume its getting knocked down at some put and thats why there is no investment.

Old 70s style shopping centre. Very very depressing energy. Out of date decor. Retail stores are lame. Very few reasons to visit.

Well if you wanted something that ‘does what it says on the tin’ then you’d be happy enough to go into this low rent and outdated shopping centre. It has all the basics you need. All of the food take out places are actually really good quality and I am a big fan of the sushi! Post-Covid the team have been doing very well to increase their public engagement with the Wall Ball, pop up eateries and the summer party tent. Kudos for making it more appealing! In the end I am looking forward to a new redevelopment - whenever that is likely to be.

I love this mall because despite being small I always find what I need there. There you will find New Look, River Island, Starbucks, Tesco (big one), H Samuel, Perfume Shop, pharmacy, among others. The mall offers some leisure options for children. If you like to make a simple purchase without having to face a crowd, this is a perfect place. I just miss bigger stores like primark, Zara.

Not a safe area. Would like to hear what actions shopping centre is doing to avoid thieves on the bikes ride here on high speed and do their crimes.

Very calm and peaceful environment. We had lunch from the Vietnamese food stall which was really good. You get 3 hours of free parking at the car park.

It's a good place. Has all the stores we need around in the same place. The only big problem it is that it's close to early. Should stay open more!

Their grilled chicken is awesome. Especially the super hot. And their fries with their sauces rounds up the take away grilled chicken night. I'm not too crazy about their deep fried chicken, plus I'm nursing my tummy, it's starting to look like a souffle.

A great place to do mini grocery and household shopping. They have a great size Tesco in there, but the store is always out of shopping trolleys. Its so frustrating if you are trying to do a big grocery shopping. They should do something about that

Lovely smallish shopping centre with everything you need under one roof. Could do with better air conditioning in general areas but that said it is a pleasant shopping experience and even in extreme heat wasn't very hot. Great for a rainy day too as all enclosed under one roof. Very helpful, informative and nice salespeople in all the shops I visited.

I went to return some items to River Island which is a nice bright and friendly store. There is a target, Holland and Barrett, Superdrug and a few more. I would not go there unless I had to as the shopping centre itself to me is dull and uninspiring.

The big Tesco is very convenient, the presence of a Boots and a Superdrug too, however the other shops are quite small and you often end up having to go somewhere else. Would be great to have air conditioning in summer too.

Barely any decent shops here. Many phone shops and opticians but nothing else to write home about. If you needed to 'kill some time' or just spend a while browsing, this isn't the place.
