Overall I used to like the mall until I shopped at House of Zargham which scams people. Owners of the mall are aware of this and the disturbances that happen at the shop every week because they ruin your outfits and do not refund you. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS, IT IS THE MANAGEMENT’S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THOSE WHO RENT A SHOP SPACE ALSO CONDUCT BUSINESS IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER!

East shopping centre used to be a London Transport Bus depo. Converted into clothing boutiques and food stalls it serves the Asian community in a popular way, presenting asian bridal shops, and numerous classy looking Asian clothing boutiques. A lift serves disabled access to the second floor food hall which provides a selection of foods. Right at the back, downstairs there is an assortment of mini style open stalls selling clothing, accessories, and scarves in a closed market type environment. The vibes of East Shopping Centre is bustling and nice. There is no parking other than in nearby Shaftesbury avenue car park.

This place used to be very good but has gone downhill. The toilets are absolutely disgusting. Not in very good condition and not well attended to either. Definitely recommend a cleaner or caretaker keeping an eye on the cleanliness of communal areas. No ventilation. So many vacant shops in the shopping centre.

I think it is the largest shopping mall of upton park area. Most of the shopowners are Bangladeshi. They have great collection of Bangladeshi and Indian traditional dresses and ornaments. I had chicken grill and garlic bread from a shop in the food court. It was yummy. But cannot say the same about chicken biriyani. It was below average in taste. Later, I also had Futchka which was a big bummer. The futchka was cold and for 5 pieces of futchka they charged 5pounds! Total wastage of money.

Nice beautiful and clean mall. Loads of shops offering a good selection of outfits for all occasions. I was in search of an outfit to attend a wedding , went into a few shops unfortunately was never approached by any staff members to see if I needed anything or had an enquiry other shops when I saw sales person available I would a question I'll get a vague answer and showing no interest in selling their products to me .One shop I went very friendly staff ...all the questions I had was answered they explained everything to me and suggested that they can make the dress to measure and explained the procedure....outfit cost is £700.As I am still looking around I haven't decided yet but if I do buy this outfit the other shop has lost a customer . When you work in retail you cannot judge a book by it's cover all customers must be treated the same regardless of there ethics background

Great addition to the famous Green Street. You can find many good stores here from asian bridal and groom wear to everyday selwar kameez for women. Several jewellery stores also towards the back. There is a couple ATMs inside but not all are free for cash withdrawals so be aware. Food court looks decent but not seen it very busy. Overall its tends to be a regular visit to East Shopping Centre as a compliment to Green Street. Parking can be a nightmare but only during really busy peak periods and seasons.

The shops keep changing every six months. Shopping centre does cater for the reasonable priced to very exclusive. It does get really busy and chaotic. There is a food court with reasonable food. Toilets are the worst can be better maintained.

As much as I appreciate the variety of clothing items, it's very hard to shop with people breathing on your neck while looking through the shops as if you were about to steal something. I like to browse for a long time before buying, but as I like my personal space, I had to leave shops because of the shop assistants not leaving my side for one second. Sad, as there are great shops

Nice little shopping centre. Mainly clothes shops are inside. There are top end and low end shops here in terms of price. There is a toy stall and a sweet stall in the middle. There is german doner kebab and roosters peri peri to eat out. There is prayer space and W/C facilities in the centre. Indian dress shopping can be a lengthy day out on green street, having these facilities available in the shopping centre makes it more manageable.

Lovely place to spend some quality time with family... food court is diverse and good quality... the only issue is the shop staff members/ assistants are rude and unfriendly... specially if you try to get a refund or exchange an item, it doesn't matter if you take it back on the same day, Someone needs to report them to the Trading standards....

Shagufta London, part of Lubna in Green St. The ladies were extremely helpful and polite. Great service. For information - East Shopping Mall is closed on Christmas Day, although online it says the hours may vary and don’t explicitly state it’s closed whilst quite a few clothes stores/shops are open on the day including groceries.

Very lovely looking mall but filled with only Asian clothing stores selling same stuff completely dead, no atmosphere. Went to get bubble tea on the good court. This could be a thriving place to shop if there were a bit of variety.

Mostly Asian clothing shops which are quite expensive . Best place for Asian bridal collection. Some Abaya shops reasonably priced. Most of the shops in the food court will close around 8 pm.

Lovely place to spend some chill time with friends or for bridal wear shopping. Prices are a bit higher than outside shops in Green Street, I feel that. You can eat upstairs or sit down with tea or coffee and enjoy the colourful atmosphere.

This rating is purely based on my experience at the fragrance stall at the far end of the shopping centre on August 22nd. The woman at the stall was chatting away on her phone very loudly when we got there. My gran and I both said “excuse me” several times, knocking on the counter and almost shouting, but she was either too engrossed in her conversation (which was clearly more important that her job) or was just choosing to ignore us (excellent customer service!). When we finally got her attention, I asked if we could use the tester of one of the sprays as I had visited the stall only a month before and the woman running the stall at the time had sprayed a little in the lid and allowed us to smell it, so I assumed there was a tester. Anyway, this time the woman said they don’t have testers and after I explained my previous experience there, she told me how they can’t spray a little in the lid because it’s unethical as the person who buys it will have bought a used product. She completely bypassed my point that I thought they kept testers on the shelves and proceeded to bang on at me about how I wouldn’t go to Sainsbury’s and ask for a tester, when in fact, most shops DO keep them out for people to try! The woman kept saying how they don’t have testers because it’s only £4 - “cheap”. I thought this was a rather silly way of looking at it as I don’t think any normal person want to buy something they didn’t like the smell of with their hard earned money! Throughout the entire transaction the woman went on and on about how she’ll get sins if she allows us to test the spray, and repeatedly checked if I understood by asking “but do you see what I’m saying though?” in a tone as if I were a child. I did not appreciate being patronised in such a way, especially by someone who refused to acknowledge my existence for about 5 minutes! Instead of simply letting me know that her colleague shouldn’t have done that, she came across as very arrogant and tried to make it seem as though I was the one in the wrong or being “unethical” for asking a simple question. I felt spoken down to and frustrated by her lack of customer service skills.

Really nice little shopping mall, it has amazing choice of Asian wedding outfits for men and women. Food court is delicious, had the German Donner, rest of the family opted for peri peri chicken and they weren't disappointed either.

IMPRESSIONS ARE SCAMMERS: After messing up a dress they said they'll give a full refund but when notified that a portion of the money was missing from the refund they lied about a service charge (which was never disclosed before). Either they don't understand what a full refund means or they're thieves and judging on the comments on their Instagram my bets are on them being the latter. DON'T SHOP THERE !! THEY ARE THIEVES !! DON'T SUPPORT ✨SCAMMERS✨ Left with no wedding outfit and money stolen. This shopping center should really re-evaluate their relationship with Impressions as many others have had bad experiences with them too. I don't feel comfortable shopping somewhere where I know they host thieves.

Yea don't like this place looks more like a market place. A food court that consists 4 food places only good thing is they recently put in German donner. You have a roosters there but over priced and my kids didn't really enjoy the food.

Good overall place to shop for Asian clothing Wonderful that They have a prayer area for both men and women

  • 3/5 Noor A. 9 months ago on Google
Shops were nice. Food was ok. But I can't come to terms with the fact that, so many shops, but only FOUR bathrooms for women. Embarrassing for such a large shopping mall. Please upgrade. Also they were dirty and not well-maintained. Door hinges and locks falling off/loose. Toilet seats FILTHY. Additionally there was no seating downstairs which is a big no-no for those with spinal or biomechanical issues. Standing up for too long with no seating means NO comfort while shopping here. If you're going to have a mall, do it right.

Loved it. Full of colour.. a feast for the eyes. Nothing for me to buy but so enjoyed the extravagance of the jewellery and the colour of the saris and shawls. The same also goes for Green Street.

This place has gone shabby from when it fist opened. Most designer shops have closed. There are only a handful of shops worth looking at, and the rest are similar to what you find on the main road. The toilets need attention!

Busy shopping mall for Indian outfits and wedding attire. No parking within the complex. So parking is awful. Several units offering men, women and children clothing. Prices vary from shops to shop. On 2 levels from ground to 1st floor. 1st floor is a food court and washroom. We'll maintained and clean. Cash machine found by the stairs at the back of the mall.

Be super careful when getting clothes from here. Asian shops don't do refunds and they will try and flog you off even if they made the mistake. Don't care too much for food available in there either - the area is kept clean though.

It's the only mall on the green Street, albeit a small one comparatively. Again just like Green Street where it's located, it has lots of Asian clothes shops, especially asian wedding attire shops for bride and groom, as well as food court at the end of the mall with good fast food options. There are ATMs and toilets so it makes a good stop for shoppers who want to take a break.

Thank you to the couple selling doodads and kids toys on the ground floor. You were incredibly helpful and I will never forget your kindness. Mr security guard, thank you too, you were a star. Found everyone else dismissive and borderline rude. No photos taken, as I didn't want to befoul my camera.

Green street is always so packed, the roads can be very dangerous as people walk without looking, a good range of shops, weather you want to just dine in, shop for groceries and materials/ready made suits.

  • 4/5 Nilla K. 1 year ago on Google
Great place for all your Asian shopping needs. Though there are alot of 'designer' shops, so it can be very pricey. But it's nice to have a little mall in green street, with clothes, food, a little market and clean toilets to use.
