I
went
on
a
Sunday
evening
and
the
atmosphere
was
perfect
...
chilled,
low
volume
music
and
sports
tv
in
the
background.
Tables
are
decent
and
i'd
recommend
a
try.
Sadly
they
enforce
a
registration
,
which
requires
ID...
you
become
a
member,
which
is
free
and
while
you're
there
,
you
collect
tabs...
if
you're
not
keeping
track
...
you
could
rack
up
a
large
bill...
I
feel
that
the
registration
is
a
way
of
getting
you
to
come
back
.
3
beers
on
tap,
a
handful
of
bottled
drinks,
adequate
seating
,
gambling
machines.
If
you
like
playing
pool
regardless
of
skill
level
,
if
recommend
this
place.
As
this
is
on
the
Broadway,
you'll
have
to
find
parking
if
you're
driving.
There
are
plenty
of
bus
options

Update
2022
---
Dropping
from
4
stars,
to
3
,
I
still
like
the
place
and
will
continue
to
go,
However,
a
few
things
have
changed:
-
There
are
no
more
tabs
allowed,
pay
everything
up
front
(which
is
fair).
-
Minimum
card
spend
is
£5
-
this
means
if
you'll
need
to
buy
at
least
2
drinks
to
meet
the
minimum
spend.
-
You
have
to
purchase
your
time
upfront.
If
you
want
to
play
for
3
hours,
you
pay
for
3
hours.
The
lights
turn
off
your
table
as
soon
as
its
done.
Maybe
thats
a
good
thing?
you'll
stay
in
your
budget
if
you
have
one?
But
if
you're
a
free
spirit
and
want
to
just
go
with
the
flow,
its
not
ideal.
-
The
snooker
room
is
permanently
closed
-
this
means
less
real
estate,
less
pool
tables,
as
2
snooker
tables
have
come
in
the
main
room
and
can
mean
some
evenings
are
busy
that
you
may
have
to
wait
-
The
pool
tables
quality
has
diminished
-
the
balls
don't
roll
accurately
