Food was good quality but service was a bit lacklustre. Had to ask for table to be cleaned. Manager came across to tell us to collect our drinks from the counter (where he'd just been standing) and they didn't bring out ice-cream so we had to ask for it (apparently you have to go back to the counter yourself). They need to decide if they are table service or not - this 'bit of both' is confusing.

I was hungry so decided to pop in here to satiate said hunger. First off the instructions were not clear on the kind of service they offer. Is it table service or do you collect yourself? Turns out it's a bit of both. Second of all, the customer service was fairly rudimentary, no one looked liked they wanted to be there. The tables weren't too clean for a start. As for the food, the pizza was pretty good but the lager was flat. I wish I had waited a while longer as the restaurant upstairs looked leagues better both in terms of choice and the customer service.

Good food , terrible service! Probably the most quiet place to eat within the British museum, due to its location. I have tried the pizza, salad and the ice cream, all Of them were good , but the service is confused: take the menu in one side, is required to pay first, but need to have a table (???) , so if you are by yourself ( my case) if someone sit in your table during the time you are paying they will receive your food! Also attendants are not friendly.

Really good sourdough pizza, enough to share for 2 people. Clean, modern and not busy before 1pm.

The combination of flavors is amazing. The savory sauce, the gooey cheese, and the crispy crust all come together to create a delicious and satisfying dish.

I would just like to say that it was the best pizza we have had in a long time and the staff were so lovely.

I wanted to sit down for a coffee at 16:40, which was 20 minutes before the pizzeria closes - but they already had closed the coffee machine. Not cool given that the museum is open until 20:30 on Fridays.

Loved it! Most museum cafes are over priced with average food. This one was a welcome surprise on a cold rainy day. Coffee was so good I went for a second one and the pizzas were fab, great crust and perfect toppings. They actually know how to do a barista quality oat flat white! Pricing very reasonable and the service was great. Only thing I would suggest is it needs some atmosphere, being in such a wonderful museum it would be great to see historical prints, local art or something like that on the walls. Maybe even rotating different themes as it’s all wasted wall space! In all a great experience and we’ll definitely eat here again.

An employee kindly allowed our group of 4 to use a reserved table when the restaurant was packed. The pizza was good, though I must say their definition of "Italian sausage" on pizza is drastically different from mine. It's loud and crowded. You aren't coming here for the atmosphere, and that's okay.

Great Stone baked pizza. Very busy at lunch and half term week but worth the wait tho.

Average pizza. 60 minute wait for the food. Very slow service. Didn't visit the British Museum to spend most of my time sitting in the cafe!

Not impressed at all. Bit of a queue to get a table, obviously not in their control, but then a large queue to place the order, person on the till was useless, don't know if due to lack of training or incompetence. Took the order twice after losing it, then struggled to get till ready to take payment. Appeared had been similar issues with everyone in front of us. For what they were charging and time it took very unimpressed with the pizza. If I bought a £1.50 Tesco pizza and it had so little topping I'd have taken it back. Large bits of completely empty dough, no cheese or base, quite a few bits burned. Lot of the cutlery was dirty, bits of food still stuck on, obviously stuck in dishwasher and not checked. No spoons left, daughter had to have icecream with a fork.

The pizzas were really good. They were heavily understaffed during lunch time, but they were doing their best. However, the tables and - especially - cutlery were not clean at all, some had still grease on them. The ordering system is also a bit confusing.

Very good food for a Museum cafeteria, and reasonably priced. The staff was extra kind and agreed to bake fresh pizza for the kids, after closing time! Really appreciated!

Liars. Cashier told us that it would take an hour to make a pizza because they were busy and had too many to make. The cooks were literally sitting on the counter chatting and no one was there.

It's okay, our pizza was a bit cardboardy, but it was very busy, so might be better when kitchen team less rushed. Staff friendly and clean

The pizza was amazing. And so was the gelato. My daughter and I shared a pizza and it was plenty for 2. This is somewhat of a Hidden Gem in the museum and worth seeking out.

There was no staff to make the pizzas, which is pretty essential obviously. Basic pizza took over an hour to make since the first 40 minutes there was no kitchen staff. I know you are trapped in terms of food options at the museum so it is to be expected, but still they need to fix their staffing.
