Weirdest place I've ever set foot near! I got bad vibes from the minute we walked into the line. We were on the 'guestlist' and us ladies could go in free...men had to pay £20 🙄🤣 My friend who arranged the guest list got messages from some guy inside asking us where we were (we were outside in the queue) ...lots of waiting around and I just felt like red flags were popping up everywhere. All of a sudden prices changed and now women have to pay £20 and men £40. I burst out laughing, next joke!! Honestly, avoid this place! It's a right scam club! We made the right decision and went to Be at one cocktail bar, great vibes and great music!

Total prat who owns it. Booked on the guest list. Turned up and told its full and owner wouldn’t let us in. We had booked this place with lots of prior notice. Lady with the clipboard snobbery and turned her back after the owner said no. No reason given at all! Total waste of time and disgusting. Avoid at all costs, u less you want a ruined night at 11pm. It was our honeymoon week too. Avoid avoid!!!!!!

The only club in Mayfair I keep going to and absolutely loved being at Luxx for the New Years Eve event 24’. Kudos to David for sorting us the best night and being so welcoming. Definitely recommend going through him for zero disappointments and having the best time ever!

On of the best experiences I've had in London so far, my favourite club in Mayfair! Staff are so friendly in particular David who sorts me amazing nights at this place and always takes care of me and my friends. The music is always great, the vibe is super friendly and fun, and I would recommend completely for any nights out or celebrations!

I wish I could give minus stars. Luxx is notoriously racist and fatphobic towards guests. They consistently refuse entry based on race and / or size. Despite being contacted by club representatives and being invited by them to the venue (and putting your names on the guest list), you will still get turned down at the door if you do not comply with their disgusting, outdated, boring, vanilla standards.

That club promoter/events manager with the beard, short with glasses - is an absolute Thug. Really surprised they allow these type work there. Threw a massive tantrum when we didn't do as he demanded, insisting we buy drinks, stand here, stand there, harassed us, was threatening and horribly aggressive. We are not inept and do not need to be threatened nor bullied like that. Makes me shudder thinking about it. We immediately left after 5mins inside as it felt horribly unsafe. The negative reviews are spot on. STAY CLEAR PEOPLE. Genuinely Awful, Awful place. The crowd are of low caliber, instagram obsessed, uneducated, unsuccessful vain cliques as you would expect in most of these "Mayfair" places pretending to be "lux members club." Pathetic. Utterly, Utterly Dismal.

We booked two guys and they told us it was 50 pounds per person, in the end they charged us 120 in total.. Inside there was a very good atmosphere in general. There wasn't even one ugly girl! They were all pretty! incredible ! We had a great time, the security and especially a girl at the bar were very good! The 4 star rating is because they charged us 120 pounds and said it was 100.

I felt very strongly about my experience at Charlie tonight, I am a regular. Paul Chung, if you are reading this please have a serious discussion with the door lady, she has a really bad uneducated, attitude that is not good for your business. The club has been quiet this weekend due to the Easter holiday and the whole point is to generate as much profit I understand however you have lost a lot of money tonight due to the nature of your door lady. Furthermore, there is video evidence of behaviour which will be sent to the local press and police due to the language and words that your door lady has used to describe others in the queue. If you would like to discuss further please reach out to me as the front of house represents the whole venue and at the moment this is failing you.

Terrible music, no space to dance. Drinks included in the ticket means - you will drink vodka mixed with water so better get something from the bar, at least works like alcohol. I have to mention that the guy who checks outside if you are on the guest list is really rude! I've never had worse experience even in rave party- at least everyone should be polite to you!

Opening night....The lady at the door was very rude towards my friend because he was ginger... we left and didn't bother buying the table/ bottles instead we went to reign and are about drop £1.2k on DomP as the staff there are consistently nice and friendly no matter the skin or hair👌 I hope next time (if i ever return) The staff will be kind

My friends and I went there for a birthday, everyone was so friendly and helpful. David made sure we were comfortable end was very organized and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Door staff and owners are condescending and rude. Would not let us in despite having valid tickets to the event. When we decided to go for a table there was absolutely 0 service or attention to the customer , but rather continued rudeness, antagonistic behaviour from the owner and door staff. They have absolutely no idea how to treat a guest and make them feel welcome and only know how to cause issues rather than solve them. Funnily enough, being a group with 2 persons of colour we were being treated like cattle whereas groups of all white patrons had no issue. I have no doubt there is some racist / racial undertone to the owners. Go to cuckoo round the corner instead, trust me. Avoid this overrated club run by despicable owners at all costs. They have scammed and cheated many of us out of our money falsely claiming our tickets were invalid when they were not. Scammers, cheaters and thieves and racists. I will be absolutely sure to report this company to trading standards. Please avoid.

Disgusted with their service. So yesterday 12/3/22 we were there our names were on the guest list they made us queue after 15 mins a lady maybe South African comes to us saying to my friend your shoes are not part of the dress code we told her we have red bottom heels in the bag she then said sorry I can’t let you in your not on the guest list and we will only allow people who come here every week. We went all the way from leicester which she ruined our night our trip the staff were rude I felt they looked down on people and picked and choose who can go in and who can’t. Very bad staff and very rude they were arrogant.

We were booked on the guest list. First gentleman we spoke to took umbrage to one person missing from our group. Asked to wait. When the lady “with the clipboard” finally approached us. She firstly commented on my fiends flat smart shoes, which we replied my friend had her heels in her bag. Then we were told not allowed in as preference to members and to people who came every week and asked to leave. No words on the level of rudeness and lame excuses used. Wish I could have give 0 *. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Staff are rude. Security guards and manager men are very creepy and unprofessional. Full of older men. Felt really uncomfortable and just had a really bad experience as well as they took photos of my debit card which makes me feel extremely uncomfortable

One of those Central London clubs. Obviously expensive and recommend if going to get a table but not absolutely necessary. Split between main dance floor area that is quite big compared to the other clubs in the area, and a smaller room with a bar and pool table. Music generally consists of the top of the chart rnb/dance tunes Staff are great and for me that is why I am happy to go back. Gets very busy on the weekends and has managed to keep up demand for over 2 years now. Recommend checking out tagged photos under Instagrams location for a better idea what the inside looks like/crowd.

Scummy place with scummy staff. Women pay £20 to get in, men pay £40. You’re forced to pay and check your smart coat, yet if you know any of the staff you’re fine to walk around in puffer jackets. Tiny place, advertising themselves as an elitist celebrity place. They treat you extremely poorly - when if you and your mates didn’t come and spend money they wouldn’t pay their bills. Don’t waste your money!

You’re judged the second you join the queue don’t go regardless if you’re on the guest list because you might get rejected due to any factor may it be race, your weight, how you dress, anything and everything.

Would give 0 if possible. Worst club experience I’ve had. The ordeal to actually get into the club was insane. The staff were rude and unhelpful and despite having a table booked were told he didn’t have one and made to wait in the rain. The watered down ‘vodka’ brought to the table was disgusting and one man was even putting ice in the cups with his hands!! Despite being a private party there were even 18 year old kids trying to get on our table and get some of our alcohol because they ‘knew him’. This was meant to be a great night out for our friend’s birthday and ended really disappointingly with one of our friends being manhandled by staff. Don’t believe their Instagram account and avoid at ALL costs. Save your money and go somewhere much nicer.

Daughter booked to be on guest list with friends for 21 birthday. When arrived, despite paying deposit told club was full and to go away and doorman wasn’t bothered they had paid. Be warned!

If you are slightly overweight or a little chubby you will be refused entry if you are any other skin colour than white you will be refused entry. This club body Shames and discriminates and from what I hear this is a regular occurrence. The fact that it’s 2023 and this is allowed to continue is disgusting.

Dope club i had fun, i didnt pay to get in nor join the line since this is the norm in clubs in London perhaps. Crowded and very small the energy is quite up there, its been a while since i went to a club, but wont mind going again.

They don’t let people with normal bodies in. You ain’t getting no whine or grind here because the real curves are outside the door! Avoid😷

Ngl I was like abit drunk. So I kinda had fun. But I mention being drunk to emphasise that I would have had fun anywhere really :/ Outside of that, they really overcharge and ‘stole’ my friend’s money. There are definitely better clubs in London.

The worse nightclub in London. The security didn’t want let me go to the dance floor with my jacket…. Was mandatory left the jacket in the cloakroom! Basically the place is for different kind of business….. not a nightclub”

I am very surprised with few bad comments. I feel so sorry to hear all the personal experiences they had but this club is only one survived for many years in mayfair. I’ve been going to this club since I was in university. Only one club also allow Asian people to organize their party and I see many Asian in management team, never experienced anything bad. Hopefully people come back to the place and enjoy their night out 🥂

That lady at front door Talia Portman is an absolute nightmare to deal with, she’s rude, arrogant and thinks she’s gods gift please stay humble and respect people more

I enjoyed my night outs at Luxx club, the manager there told me lots of positive things about initiative they do to help their customers they also told me about terrible attitude at other clubs such as Tape where the owner is a creep.

Just another pole dancing club with aggressive security & silly prices, decent men should really find some slightly less exploitative to entertain themselves with really.

Drinks was good and thanks to Alex & Club booker team for arranging such a cool table. Venue was nice and comfy.

Beware of this club, my sister and her friend were spiked in here, both their first drinks of the nights. And now we’ve learnt that another girl we know, was also spiked at the same club about a month ago. So what measures are they putting in to stop it…obviously none

We had organised with a promoter to get into this club and to have a table but he was nowhere to be found once we arrived. It was then £20 entry which is pretty steep anyway but I really can't justify that at all once I saw the inside of the club... There is literally no dance area, only some spaces around the DJ stage and tables. It's absolutely so tiny and squashed inside that people are constantly pushing past you no matter where you are stood. Drinks are also ridiculously expensive so I bought one drink only and decided on tap water for the rest of the night as it's just not worth it at all. If it wasn't for the company I had I would have been sorely disappointed to have come out at all that night. I'm never going to be returning to this club again and I highly recommend you save your money try somewhere else if you're thinking of coming here.

Not what you would expect

One of the best clubs I’ve been to in London Mayfair. Diverse crowd, good music, the staff are lovely, although the club has a no nonsense policy as it should. The club rep ‘Driss’ ensured we have a great experience the moment we arrived and I have been here multiple times, always a positive attitude and great vibes. Would recommend!

One of the best clubs in London! Have been going with Sarab (promoter) for the past couple of years, he never disappoints :) welcoming atmosphere and great music! Have celebrated my birthday a couple times as well, was good fun. Highly recommend

I can say I have been to a lot of clubs around London and I can say this is one of the best ones by far. The music and the overall vibe are exactly what I would expect on a night out. David (promoter) took care of my friends and I and made sure we were okay and having a good time. I highly recommend it xx

I’ve been to Luxx a couple times now and each time the music and atmosphere don’t disappoint. David and the promoters are friendly and most importantly completely respectful of all the girls that come in. I hold them all to very high esteem. If you have the opportunity or means I definitely wouldn’t miss out on going xx

Easily my favourite place to go, if you don’t know get to know. The vibes are unmatched, everyone is super friendly/welcoming and the service is amazing. Always looked after by Sarab who goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best night and all round the nicest guy. Can’t wait to come back very soon.

Worst experience in my life! The owner of the club totally Trash !!! He has been telling to customers random words which is unacceptable! Very racist and unprofessional! I have paid for the bill over 1k not deserved not worse it! I have been in many night places Never had any of this experiences! I went there with our friends all couples husbands and wife to enjoy not to telling f….. to lady he didn’t even apologise his stuff were apologising behalf of him He just run away like a girls from the place I can’t even tell him a man! The owner were sitting himself and telling customers f….especially lady No manners no respect! Rubbish place never ever recommended to go!

Save yourself the trouble. This place is BAD VIBES and full of douchebags (from the management to the staff to the target clientele). It’s not worth the time, energy or money.

Amazing vibes, great music (a bit of everything) easy to get to. Clean washrooms, polite workers.

Worst experience ever. On arrival, the promoter with spiky beard invited me and my friends was extremely rude. He lied about free entry and booths. Most promoter were picking favourite in the queue. Avoid this club at all costs.

I spent last Saturday night at Luxx in Mayfair for my birthday. I had a fantastic evening with my friends thanks especially to David who really organized everything wonderfully! Plus, he made sure we were having fun throughout the evening, really helpful and nice! I will definitely be back!! Xx
