Wow.. Amazing place to go with friends,Nice Verity of food and drink good service, fabulous music. Cocktail menu are incredible all in loved it

Nice to be back at the Gable since lock down is over. I'd forgotten about this place and was reminded today and went down for a great lunch and a couple of drinks. Highly recommended for getting out the office without a huge price tag. The evenings hopefully are as good as I remember with a DJ Thursday and Friday night.

confusing menu and a wait over an hour for mains Waited for well over an hour for food. When it arrived, it wasn't what we expected. 'chargrilled chicken with cheese' turned out to be a chicken burger that's apparently chargrilled. On asking why the menu didn't mention the dish as burer, the lady who served us seemed perplexed as well. Good place, first dine in, complete let down.. The £11.00 burger was a complete disgrace to itself. See the photos.. I must say, they served us a round of drinks free for the delay.

Great venue with a great vibe not to mention a generous happy hour. Bar and security staff as always are very professional. A BIG thank you to all at the Gable for making our Flying Solo singles event the success it was.

Attended a birthday bash here and it was fab. Great venue and staff. Food was great and the bar is spacious and can accommodate a good number of people. There's a dance floor downstairs with a bar. DJ sets up in red telephone boxes! Loved the place as did many other people.

Not great at all, made a reservation for lunch to meet up with a business customer and the place was dead, no atmosphere at all. It turns out they had run out of most of the food n the menu which explains a lot, had no time to find anywhere else so we ate there. It was OK but certainly would not bother going back again.

Really good place. Great atmosphere and great staff. The only reason I have it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the bar staff could move a little quicker and scan who's next and waiting. However I'll definitely be going back.

Slow service although the bar was not full. The website says happy hour until 8pm but at the bar they said it was until 7pm. Cocktail was good and presentation pretty

Went to the gable a fair amount before moving office, ventured back there to catch up with some friends in the area. The service was derisory, to begin with the barman was clearly a total novice which is fine but he should’ve been given some better training. What I might assume was the manager then intervened to inform us that only a third of a can of red bull is used per jagerbomb, which was strange considering 1 full can was not used for the 4 we ordered. The bar staff then proceeded to make a scene and surround us. They then said they wouldn’t serve us and got our drinks order wrong. Terrible experience!

Came in for drinks one night with my friends and it was great. Also, very caring staff. My friend was throwing up in the bathroom and this staff member with black and green Nike shoes got him some water and gave him some chewing gum. Very well mannered

Excellent pub with a wide range of spirits and beers on tap. I went for a Christmas meal and they were able to fit us in at relatively short notice. Food was excellent and staff were very friendly. Prices are expensive but it's a pub in this area of London so it's not exceptional. Pub was cold as they have front and back doors open in December, but I applaud them keeping the place ventilated in these covid times. Wasn't busy when we went but tables were well spaced.

The bouncers are very helpful and friendly . They went above and beyond for me. Really appreciate those rare and good people. Zakeriya Ceecay .. your an absoloute legend. The gable are lucky to have you.

Friendly pub. Whilst it can get busy, the staff/bar service always remains good. Also, a nice place, and great value

Bartenders are absolute rude. Never go there unless you want to wait at the bar for 30mins for every drink and be sweared upon

Popped in for lunch on a Friday. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Fast & friendly service. Value for money re food & drink.

I visited here and got lunch. I had the fish finger sandwich and only issue was that one side of the sandwich was a bit soggy but overall it tasted alright and I was hungry. Can't complain too much as it was quite cheap, less than £10, and that includes the drink I got.

They had 2 bar staff on, on a busy Thursday night. The staff themselves were lovely, but seriously, hire more staff. 20 minute bar queues are not acceptable. Edited to 4 stars as they were hit by staff shortages - not their fault.

Staff extremely rude with their customers: there was a barmaid with hair braids to whom I gently asked a glass with some ice (she served me a tonic water by just opening the bottle and handing that to me), and she replied very arrogantly. These small things make the difference in a market with so many pub/bar options such as London

Perfect place for a cheap after work drink. Not a place to take anyone you plan on impressing but a great happy hour. Plenty of seating and good menu!

Although our food was not up to standard and they had run out of sauces, Paige was fabulous and very attentive whilst running around seating people at tables. Overall a good bar but advise booking before you come on a Thursday.

This is an excellent bar handy for so many transport links. Drop in for happy hour beer and cocktails and a bite to eat from a very good bar menu. But don’t sit by the doors if you can avoid it, certainly in the colder months. Every now and again a customer will leave the doors open. Oh and you have to really look to find the toilets. But those are minor things and I would definitely come again

Went there for an event - meetup. The ground floor was very nice, spacious, drinks and food delicious, lovely and helpful staff. The venue was downstairs which was more cosy and a bit dark. Only drawback - music was too loud to my taste (as to be fair is in most pubs and bars) for a meetup like this. Otherwise - 5 stars!

Good atmosphere in the bar on a Friday night. However the staff were incredibly rude to both myself and multiple people who I was with. One guy in particular was rolling his eyes at us and making us feel bad simply for ordering drinks!

First time visit & the staff were lovely with a nice pub setting/decor. Going to sound really old now but the music was too loud for a Tuesday after work. I shouldn't have to shout to speak to a friend when a large pub is half empty. Otherwise a nice place.

There was a party here and it was amazing. The atmosphere, food, DJs and all the bartenders were amazing especially so as the staff serving me was fairly new and on their second shift. It was all perfect. Would come again.

Great place for post work beverages! Saw the food coming out of the kitchen and ended up being tempted by the Camembert and nachos which went down a treat. Really great atmosphere for me and my work pals after long office day.

Incredibly bad service. We waited for 1h during lunchtime just to get drinks including tab water, and waited 1.5h to get food although the place wasn't even busy. We had to extend our lunch break because of that and were starving. And once it arrived, the food was cold. Some drinks were forgotten. We also could not pay since the whole system was off, taking up more of our time. Worst experience.

I visited this place with my friends and the bartender who served me was amazing. I don't remember his name but he was quite big and I believe he was new. The drinks are absolutely class and the atmosphere is amazing. Especially the choice of music

Out a couple weeks back with some friends at this place. First time and will defo be back soon. Met one of the staff in the downstairs bar called David who made one hell of a tropical cocktail and was very welcoming to my group. Great service is always a win for me. Hopefully David will be there next time to make that cocktail for me 👌🏾
