I'm writing this review halfway through my stay. I'm enjoying myself. They are dorm rooms so you may have flashbacks to your college daze. My room is comfortable and has all that I really need. The location is good - almost exactly between South Kensington and Gloucester Road tube stations. The pub has decently priced beer and food - but cash only! Two things to be aware of: the shower head is fixed and cannot be moved; the water from the tap is not potable, but they have water coolers in the lobby to refill water bottles. I'm not sure why there isn't a cooler on each floor, but there you have it. Internet works well. Good value. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent value for the location. Basic rooms but perfect as a place to sleep after being out on the town all day. We had a good bathroom with shower. These are student rooms so don't expect anything flash but then it's priced appropriately. Breakfast included is good value. There is a gym and pool. Restaurant is close by. Royal Albert Hall is adjacent. Buses are right out the door. Staff are friendly and helpful. Could not ask for more in the centre of London at this price. Would stay again.

Union bar is the most common place for students to meet. With okayish food and cheep drinks it's all you need

Pros: Excellent location A desk fan in the room (A blessing in the London heat) Cons There were a number of websites floating about that all displayed different information regarding this place, consequently when I arrived I did not get the room or facilities I was expecting. Advertised as a B&B but breakfast is an extra cost. Again very misleading. Bed felt like it was made of chicken wire. The army have more comfortable beds than this. Free gym and pool sounds good. But they close at 8pm. Not much use when you get back at 7pm from work, and when you are free on the weekends, they close at 4pm. Staff did very little to help when I had queries and failed to carry out my basic requests regarding my room. Showers were dirty, so much so I have just been to the doctors to check out my foot infection I picked up staying here. There is no drinking water in the entire building, apart from 1 cooler in reception. I've stayed in cabins in the middle of the Dales that have drinking water on tap, but not here! I phoned prior to my stay with a few queries, I generally think the person who answered the phone did not work there, they were wrong with every question I asked. Overall a very over priced stay. Will definitely not be staying here again.

Great value for money! Student accommodation in Central London. Facilities are basic but comfortable, for ~Β£80 per night for a single room, you get basic amenities which you would find in the more expensive hotels. You even get a pretty decent breakfast (fry up breads and cereals) and access to the university sports facilities. The staff are always on hand and helpful, typically very smart Imperial students working on a vacation job. Always willing to lend a hand!

A great place in the heart of London. Economical but Spartan. Beds are about as comfortable as your old dorm bed, which is exactly what this is. Only available from late July to mid September. Good breakfast included. BBC Proms ongoing during that whole time, the Albert Hall being on campus. Exhibition Rd, only two blocks away with most museums (free) and a wide variety of eateries and a tube station also a few minutes walk

Comfortable very Handy for Albert hall, unless you have mobility issues, some rooms not accessed by a lift.evrn have their own branded toiletries, making it really feel 4*. Reception staff very helpful a credit to the university. Especially as they helped to chance the room to s more accessible one. On s nice sunny evening a bit if noise from the bar, till midnight but it's a nice bar. Low cost breakfast in the union bar weekday, and good for burgers.

Basic student accommodation in an amazing location. Walking distance of Hyde Park, Royal Albert Hall, Victoria & Albert Museum, Natural History Museum, and more. There's a lively bar on site that I didn't have time to visit, ask for a room away from the noise if you're planning on going to bed early.

Staying in the halls of residency like a b&b as it's used over summer. Using Trivago I got 2 nights for Β£90 which is a bargain. It's safe clean friendly, secure. Beds are austerely hard and so high I have to jump down but it's gorgeous. You're staying in s piece of history. Area is superb. It only lost a star for its overly stern staff and hard beds!

Decent enough, en suite bathrooms are very small but they're manageable! Kettle cable in rooms were very short, which meant I had to put the kettle on the floor to boil. Good location for students at South Kensington campus, also not too far from white city.

The room was basic but very comfortable. Great for the price. The only issues were that reception had trouble finding my booking and I waited about 20-30 minutes to resolve it. Additionally, the bathroom sign said not to drink the water, but there was no other drinking water readily available anywhere, which I thought was a little strange.

Spent my first year of uni here Somewhat below average facility like no hot water from the shower for half of the building But location is amazing

It was good! The first day, we had the inconvenience that the hot water wasn't working. The issue was fixed quickly. The bathroom was a bit smelly (it wasn't due to a hygiene problem), and the toilet didn't work very well. Nevertheless, the room was simple but spacious and clean. Do not expect wonderful installations. In the end, it's a students accommodation with the basic needs. They provide you with soap every day, change your towels, and clean your room. They also offer you bottles of water, tea, coffee, and milk in the room. It's good enough to have pleasant days in London at an affordable price for what it's London; an expensive city without much accommodation options at a fair price.

This place is quite central and very close to the Royal Albert Hall. The atmosphere that displays house is amazing.. as you can see there are a lot of historical buildings around. This area is pretty well secured for students or anyone in general. There are a lot of parking spaces to park your vehicle. The streets are pretty clean and well maintained. The closest station is Knightsbridge and it’s within walking distance. Hyde Park Literally two minutes walk. There are a lot of places to eat around this area.

Adequate place to stay for a night - the bathrooms were surprisingly very clean. The shower's water pressure was incredible - I've never been blasted so hard. The room is comfortable enough - the furniture is old and the rest of the room is dated, but I liked how it came with an office chair, a kettle, decaf coffee, and a fan. The fan was completely necessary because it was so hot the weekend I stayed. Although my room was next to the stairwell facing the street and the hallway looked like it was 2/3s booked, it was relatively quiet and I wasn't woken up in the night. The noise from the street ended around 10pm, although I will agree with others that the courtyard noise was significant. Wi-fi was very fast. I got to sit downstairs in the cool common room and got some snacks/drinks from the vending machine. Afterwards, left a few bags in order to explore before catching my afternoon train. I'd stay again. The V&A, Science Museums, Kensington Gardens are all within a 10 min walk - amazing location.

It can get pretty hot during the summer, and the fans that they offer are tiny. And the windows don't open so that air can get in. Other than that, the location is great, the staff is super nice and the price is good for what you get. Definitely recomed to stay here during your visit in the summer.

Rooms are adequately furnished, but in rather rough condition, and checking in took far longer than it should have (Olivia on the front desk was an absolute star, though.) Breakfast options were adequate but limited, and while I've no objections to sharing a canteen with students, it was total anarchy and already too hot before 9 AM on a Sunday in August. In summary, perfectly adequate for when you need somewhere to crash after a gig, but not somewhere I'd want to be for more than one night.

This student room was perfect for staying overnight after hearing a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Immaculately clean, 5 mins walk from the RAH and good breakfast included in the price.

The furniture in the rooms are best described as tired.. Tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms but kitchens are locked and the taps in the room are marked as "Do No Drink".

😠 This has to be the worst place I have ever stayed. If you value your health and safety, do not stay here. I stayed here with my disabled sister and the heating and hot water did not work (as you can see the thermostat said it was 14 degrees). The duvet was really thin and there were no extra blanket...
