This
is
how
a
Sunday
Brunch
should
be
done
Since
Roux
at
the
Landau
stopped
doing
Sunday
Brunch,
we
have
been
looking
for
an
alternative,
never
expecting
to
find
anywhere
as
good.
Sorry
Michel,
but
we
have.
The
Landmark
Hotel
Sunday
Brunch
with
unlimited
Champagne
was
just
so
good.
Good
restaurant
(The
Winter
Garden),
excellent
staff,
excellent
food
and
drink
and
a
really
good
atmosphere.
Great
fun
and
an
excellent
way
to
pass
a
couple
of
hours.
Sunday
Brunch
starts,
for
everyone
at
12:30.
At
about
12:31
the
champagne
started
to
flow
and
it
really
did
not
stop
until
we
finished
eating
–
my
wife
even
had
to
put
her
hand
over
her
glass
and
admit
defeat.
Foodwise
the
buffet
is
simply
enormous
with
food
for
all
tastes.
We
missed
the
multiple
domes
containing
typical
English
breakfast
ingredients
and
went
to
the
cold
section
with
bowls
of
exciting
salads
and
platters
of
smoked
salmon
and
other
fishy
items.
Having
made
a
couple
of
visits
we
then
progressed
to
the
carvery
section,
where
a
selection
of
roasts
and
trimmings
were
available.
We
could
find
no
fault
with
any
of
the
carvery
items.
Its
worth
saying
that
plentiful
staff
were
available
at
the
buffet
and
around
the
eating
area
to
advise
and
assist.
Finally,
we
managed
to
drag
ourselves
to
the
desert
section
which
was
also
very
extensive
with
a
huge
selection
of
cakes
and
deserts.
Again,
everything
we
tried
was
perfect.
We
took
coffee
and
still
our
glasses
were
being
refilled.
At
the
time
or
writing,
brunch
with
the
champagne
is
£110
plus
service
–
no
extras
at
all.
I
think
for
children
its
available
at
a
lower
price
without
the
booze.
The
brunch
is
popular
and
one
needs
to
book
a
while
in
advance,
and
we
have
already
booked
a
return
visit
in
January
2020.
