We came for high tea and the overall experience (especially the service) was a let down given it's located in a 5 star hotel. For £70 plus service charge, you expect more. We were a larger group of 9 people and only had 5 teas we could choose from and the waitress still mixed the teas up. The service was extremely inattentive after the initial serve of tea - I had to serve my own tea from a nearby table. When I asked for a simple glass of water, the waitress was so inconvenienced from my request even though it had probably been an hour since she attended to us. The afternoon tea itself was decent but nothing amazing. I definitely won't be recommending it.

A beautiful restaurant inside The Landmark Hotel. An internal courtyard arrangement with a glass roof and palm trees. Live piano music in the evening helps to create a refined & relaxing atmosphere. Food and drink prices were reasonable for the area, and the service was attentive, professional and friendly. I will most definitely return.

The Winter Garden is a breath taking location. Entering the hotel and then the open space where the afternoon tea takes place is an experience. However the afternoon tea was not tasteful at all. The food looked nice but the sandwiches were bland. The scones, cream and jam were good but then the desserts were disappointing. The service was decent and they had a good selection of teas however would not recommend to friends due to the quality of the food. Too bad that such a nice location has such dissapointing food.

My favourite afternoon tea in London !!! I love the palm trees and glass ceiling, feels like you are sitting outside. The sandwiches are delicious and you are constantly being offered more and tea refills. Service is great!!! The cakes are amazing! I would definitely come back again! Halal options.

Wow, what an amazing experience Everything abut The Landmark just oozes decadence. The Winter Garden Restaurant is no exception. The stunning surroundings only compliments the superb mebu on offer. British classics as well as dishes from France and Italy. There will be something to suit every palate. The drinks menu is varied with a fantastic wine and champagne list. The service is nothing but exceptional. The perfect place to meet friends or family for an special meal. The IDEAL place for a romantic dinner with your significant other. 💕...Highly recommended dining experience.

The Winter Garden Restaurant is one of the restaurants of the Landmark Hotel, a very old but well maintained hotel in central London. It serves traditional English food, well executed overall. Nothing fancy food wise, just good food. I had the set menu for £60 including a drink. As you can see from the pictures I had the sea bass ceviche, the slow cooked beef rib and a strawberry tart. All very good in their own right. Service wise, some were better than others, nothing outstanding there. I would recommend overall.

Came here for afternoon tea and did not disappoint. The food was really good and the service was one of the best I have received. The staff were attentive, nice and caring. The decoration and the live panio was a very nice addition.

Came here for a late evening dessert on a Sunday. We sat in a lovely corner table and really enjoyed the dessert and hot drinks. Staff were friendly and helpful. The sticky toffee pudding was definitely the highlight.

My husband and I were staying in the hotel and decided to try out the winter garden restaurant. We didn't really book prior so we weren't sure if we were able to get a table but luckily there was a table available, thanks to the wonderful staff at the reception. The restaurant is situated right at the middle in the hotel with big palm trees spread around. I haven't been to Hawaii but felt like I was there. The first posh restaurant I have been to which has such open space, It did feel different. We were sat at one of the corner tables which I was pleased with. The waiters were very kind and polite and made us feel warm and welcoming. Being vegetarians, we weren't sure what to expect as we didn't really read the menu before booking but knowing that vegan and vegetarian option is spreading so much, we weren't really worried. We told one of the waitress/lady about our requirements but I felt like there was some hesitations, she did go back to the kitchen several times to confirm and check which really and truly shouldn't happen especially in these days where vegans are trending everywhere. In the end, she gave us some suggestions and we decided to stick with it. Starting with the bread rolls, they were absolutely delicious. I couldn't resist and ate more than I should've. Then comes the starter which was pea soup, that was delicious too really enjoyed that. After the starter we were served the main. We went for a la carte. Due to our requirements, it was very limited however the lady helped us out a little and suggested to go with vegetable pasta and pea and vegetable risotto which was specifically made for us. The food was delicious but to be truly honest, being served that in a 5 star hotel, I'm sure they could've done better. Nevertheless, I was already slightly full from the bread rolls but my husband did enjoy it and so did I. The atmosphere was nice and calm but it was slightly cold. Would love to try it out again providing they do better for vegatarians&vegans. Im not sure if it was worth the money we paid. The bill did end up slightly more than expected, more than I would've thought especially with the kind of food we ate. I don't think I would pay that much for something I can make at home.

I had afternoon tea at the Winter Garden on 31st July, and the experience was superb. Attentive and friendly staff who were on top of everything to refreshing your pot of tea, to topping up your cup and water glass. It was seamless and unobtrusive. The venue itself is utterly stunning yet very relaxed. Time flew quickly. The food was incredible. The sandwiches were dainty but packed so much flavour - if I can buy or have the recipe for the onion bread that the egg mayonnaise sandwich is made from that would be lovely - the filings were generous. The delightful warm scones were soft and fluffy in the inside, beautiful and buttery. The pastries were works of art and I struggle to choose my favourite as they were all moreish. Such a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Huge thanks to Jose for making our espresso martini and Marylebone mist. Both were wonderful. Thank you to all of the team who made our afternoon so memorable- in a great way. We will return

Afternoon tea at the Winter Garden in The Landmark London is definitely one to experience. Being in The Landmark always gives me sophisticated summer vibes and indeed the afternoon tea was such a classy experience. The tea was very lovely with good selection, the food was great and the atmosphere completed the whole experience. One I'd like to do atleast once a month, if not once every season!

We went here to celebrate our daughter's 1 year birthday and it was perfect. Relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff around. I made a pre inquires regarding specific diet and choice for our daughter three course and they really did their best to accommodate the request - even though we did not have book room to stay in . So thank you to the person I have been emailing, head of chef, waitress and waiters and front of House. We will definitely be back soon. They even had a small personalised happy birthday wishes with small cake toped with a lovely pino birthday song - it was just perfect and a very nice touch.

Everything was perfect except the minimum order amount is £55. Since there is no such information anywhere and we learned this at the time of ordering, I was not satisfied only because of this issue. However, I was pleased with the atmosphere, food and service. Also, thanks for the cake they gave us for our wedding anniversary.

Super duper marvellous British Afternoon Tea Impressive service mega attentive full of detail of attention perfect place to celebrate your birthday You get a free mini birthday tart with a candle and professional piano-list to play Happy Birthday for you The atmosphere is wonderfully atmospheric the garden theme is warm welcoming the palm tree and tropical plant makes you feel like on holiday in a tropical island not just Winter Garden as per name The scones sandwiches and desserts are Uber high quality well made lower sugar than most British Afternoon Tea assuming slightly better for your health The most impressive is the scone which melt in your mouth

A restaurant with a great atmosphere (very instagrammable) and decent food. I had the price fixe lunch which included a refreshing splash of champagne. Ended up ordering a veggie dish for my mains that was not thrilling- with all the fried items on my dish. I think if the fried items were more accurately described, I could have avoided choosing it. I actually wanted to order the fish but purposefully chose to avoid it after a waitress passed with a fish dish that left a horrible lingering, wafting fishy smell- an indication to me the fish was not fresh. Overall, the classy atmosphere makes up for what the food lacked.

One of the fancier places I’ve eaten. The food and service were outstanding. Anth was our waiter for the evening and he was excellent, very attentive and super friendly. The place itself was stunning and would recommend for celebrations or occasions.

This is my absolute favourite restaurant- my number 1! Why? It is magical... the open restaurant with its palm trees creates a beautiful ambience/atmosphere- particularly at this Christmas time !! Food top quality... sea bass, chicken, accompanied by a delicious chablis, made for a wonderful evening out...

I have come to dine at the Winter garden on two separate occasions, one my anniversary and most recently my mum's birthday dinner. On both occasions the service we received at the restaurant have been unmatched. The team make you feel so much at home and go above and beyond to truly make your experience special. Every single dish we ordered was cooked beautiful with such stunning flavours, so thank you to the chefs. The hotel itself has a the most romantic atmosphere and is simply stunning. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful restaurant, stunning setting, good food & excellent service as well as good value for money. Staff were very attentive and catered to our dietary needs. Would compare restaurant service to a 5 star resort we went to in the Maldives, the Hurawahli resort

On many occasions I have enjoyed Afternoon Tea here and thought I would try dinner. First, Orton our waiter was excellent. His service was very good. The chicken is Halal Overall, the food was good however, my chicken dish lacked seasoning and had lots of small bones.

A lovely restaurant, went for dinner, fab food, the service was impeccable, the ambiance was relaxing, our waiter Helmi, was very attentive and polite. The food was great, overall a very pleasant dining experience which I can highly recommend.

It was authentic. The set menu is fixed at £45 with an appetizer, main and dessert. The waiters are very friendly, helpful and attentive. They pour all your drinks for you. The dish portions were small but just right. Breakfast is better. You have to buffet style set up with one side containing English breakfast items and the other side containing all the pastries toy can think of. The honey was original with real honey cones dripping with honey and you can break pieces off to eat from. It's expensive but worth every penny.
