👍 Took a night time cruise. Was not busy so sadly commentary was pre recorded. Probably in peak season you will get a human guide. But of course lovely views at night. Recommend to anyone. People often mention London, boat, cruise, Greenwich, great, trip, river, evening, Thames, tour,

What a fantastic way to spend an hour in London for £15. The lad in the ticket office was really friendly and helpful. The cruise shows you all the best sights in London from a really cool perspective. The captain of our boat was extremely knowledgeable having worked the river his whole life. I learnt so much. He was also very funny he really did make our day in London. I, can't recommend it enough 10/10

Best way to arrive in Greenwich if you’re looking for a day out experience. Brings you into the heart of Greenwich next to the Curry Sark without any of the traffic hassle.

We took an early evening cruise down the River Thames as part of a group day out to see the Christmas lights along the embankment and other well known sites It was great seeing everything at night and we had a guide for the journey who knew everything about the history of the Thames and surrounding buildings/landmarks, he had a great sense of humour and kept us thoroughly entertained. There was a bar onboard that provided hot and cold refreshments and it was very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this trip for all of the family.

From here we took a cruise on the Thames. You pass many of London's landmarks (Tower Bridge, Big Ben, London Eye, etc.). One trip is included in the London Pass.

Take the river boat all the way to Westminster, great cruise without the cruise price, use oyster card, has extra discount, no need to buy ticket, just tap in and tap out. On enter, you have to show the staff the tap in, I think they want to make sure you have enough money on the card. Don't forget to tap out, they might charge you maximum if you missed it. The boat has two hull, very stable and fast. But they shop very frequent to yield for the traffic or stop for the pier.

Took the cruise through all the stops for around 3 hours and it was really nice. One of the crew narrated the tour and it was a beautiful day. We didn’t do the hop on hop off because we just wanted a ride, but it would have been perfect for that. We were staying around Greenwich for a concert so this was a perfect place to come.

We had a lovely cruise up the Thames. The crew was fabulous and the views were spectacular, I would definitely recommend a river cruise, to see London in a relaxing less hectic way.

We had finished our tower bridge visit and needed to be back at Greenwich so took a 40 min boat trip. Kept entertained by excellent commentary and, as it was dry, sat upstairs in the open to enjoy the views. Around £12 for 1 way . Plenty seats, we only waited about 10 mins and there is a bar/cafe on board

Took a trip one way from Greenwich to Westminster, really good special price £6.62. (Sept 2019)Commentary was really informative as we travelled along the Thames. Well worth the money.

Took the last trip from Greenwich to Westminster in the evening. The cabin was warm for an evening chilly weather. You do get to enjoy as well as take photos of the scenery so the speed is right! The London skyline with a setting sun looks very nice, they should clean the glass screen of the cabin more frequently, Tourists will enjoy it more. Value for money if you take a day pass rather than one way trip.

Great experience. The not reason not 5 stars is the crew from Greenwich to London Bridge seemed interested we were even there.

I took the unlimited upload and download for 24 hours. Everything is very good, the boat is the best compared to other companies. You can sit at the bottom in front of everything and have a very good view of everything!

Lovely evening experience with City Cruises last weekend. We got to see the wonderful sunset whilst taking in the beautiful evening views of London. The cruise was long enough for us to also get night views with all the bridges brightly lit up. Very relaxing and fun with great commentary from staff. Make sure to book in advance as tickets do sell out fast.

Scammers! We bought tickets for the Greenwich-Westmisnster route on 7 October 2023. Once on the boat they tell us that there has been a problem and that we have to change boats at the Tower of London, that it will be a moment and they apologise for the inconvenience. When we are disembarked they inform us we have to wait an hour for the next boat, so we ask for a refund. The ticket office is closed and we are told that "the system has crashed", their only solution is for us to come back tomorrow to claim. That's impossible because the next day we were flying back home. So no boat trip, no money: a scam.

I took my friends on this tour hoping to find out historical facts and a good commentary. Instead we got some facts and a volunteer ship mate who loved the sound of his own voice and jokes that were not funny and actually very offensive. There were many children on board and I was cringing that they might understand what he thought was a joke. We went both directions so had to listen to another guys sick jokes on the way back. For 20 quid a ticket you'd expect professionalism. Drinks were very expensive, nearly 18 quid for 3 beers in a can. I'd certainly look at another boat company to take future guests to London on. Total waste of money.

Arrived 5 mins early for boat this evening but was turned away by grumpy & unfriendly attendant and made to wait 30 mins for the following boat. They didn’t allow us to stay under cover on the pier but queue outside instead (not nice when raining). Really hectic and mismanaged queuing system. We were front of the queue (after not being allowed on the earlier boat and waiting the 30 min) but ended up last ones on the boat! Boat ride itself is great as a tourist attraction but expensive as a method of commuting around London.

Started off at Westminster Pier taking an hour to Greenwich. Our guide on the boat was funny and made it so good pointing out lots of places and interesting facts for most of the journey. We disembarked at Greenwich for a few hours which is worth a visit too.
