Great place for steak! The specials board was full of great steaks of the day. The creamed spinach and truffle fries were also delicious. Our server Sophie was so amazing. She was very attentive and so lovely, it really made our night!

Excellent steak, we had the 800g rib eye, creamed spinach, chips and heritage carrots. Each dish was delicious, especially dessert which was a white chocolate creme brûlée. Service was also efficient and friendly, much recommended!

I went to Goodman City with my partner’s family after his graduation. We were first greeted by the lovely receptionist and was offered a better seat, food was really good and they even surprised my partner with a graduation treat (a chocolate cupcake and a scoop of vanilla icecream) 🥰 P.S. The mac and cheese was just 🤤🤤🤤 Will definitely return without hesitation.

Superb venue. Exceptional quality food and very carefully selected beverages. Delicious Syrah wine. One of the best service teams I have met so far in London. Kudos to Ilenia and a few others. Worth recommendation to everyone disembarking at the DLR's Bank station in central London.

A truly amazing evening! We began the night with a glass of 2012 Sine Qua, a lovely Californian red and tempura prawns. Our main course was a mixture of chateaubriand and prime rib accompanied by all the trimmings. The food was incredible, however, I must also mention to equally amazing things. 1. The atmosphere sounds like a 1970s trading floor. It really embodies the hustle and bustle of the square mile. 2. The staff. Jenny the front of house, Justina and Sophie our waitresses and of course, the incredibly warm and hospitable GM Ansa. This is a place that I look forward to returning to.

Simply perfect! IMHO the best Steak in London!!

This is the best steakhouse I have tried in the City. On the 16th of December I had an amazing evening with the colleagues with a great selection of steaks and sides. A special thanks to the sommelier, Ilenia, who suggested me a bottle not in the list and spotted my taste with a great 10 years Nuites-Saint-Georges. This is when the sommelier makes the difference. I’ll come again for sure!

One of the best steaks ive had in London. Would have given the food a 5 but we didn’t get enough aged flavour from the dry age steak. Overall though great experience

We found ourselves in this lovely restaurant by chance but could not be happier with the choice. My partner is a pescetarian and we were pleasantly surprised with the choice of fish available in a mainly steak house. The experience was made even better by the lovely Itza, who provided us such good recommendations and amazing service. As you can see by the photos, looking forward to going back.

The best steak variety and quality are available! Great knowledge regarding the cuts, and what would be the best choice for your liking. The wine selection is large and the beer options are great. The service is superb, and very nice team.

Delicious meal at Goodman City. Quick service, excellent food and wine, great atmosphere although a little noisy - can’t really hear someone speaking from across the table! Recommend ordering from “The Cut” which they will show you what they have got on a large blackboard. Shared 3 steaks (L->R: ribeye, aged sirloin, chateaubriand) between four people plus sides and desserts 😋 So tasty!

We were asked on arrival if we were there for an occasion to which we responded that it was our anniversary. When it was time for pudding they brought out a free crème brûlée with Happy Anniversary in chocolate writing. It is an expensive experience, but you get what you pay for and should probably expect this in London anyway. The food was all perfectly done, absolutely no complaints in that department either. I thought they had a good selection of sides. It is a steak house so I didn’t look at the vegetarian options to make any comment (but the menus are all online if you wanted to look). The service was absolutely amazing; there were times I looked at my wine and water and they had definitely been topped up without me noticing. Everyone was super lovely, knowledgable about the food and accommodating!

Second time I've been to Goodman City and doesn't disappoint. Very attentive waiters and waitresses, but not to over bearing. Staff have great knowledge of steak, origins, feed, cuts and district differences. Also have a fabulous selection of sides and beverages. Comfortable dining and not too cramped. Able to hold decent conversation without hearing from other tables nearby. Easy to get to on foot from the City and decent tube links to central, northern lines via Bank tube 5 mins walk. Book in advance as gets pretty busy. Picture shown is 400g fillet..Sirloin on the bone is also a great choice. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking to land a decent steak. Much more preferable to the good but possibly slightly overated Goucho.

I loved this place and the staff were really great, proactive and accommodating. I will definitely come back. The food was really good, but I’m very fussy about triple cooked chips and I’ve had better ones, hence marking only a 4 for food and overall

Great food and fantastic service. We tried next to the steak also the fish of the day. It was very tasty the salmon. We definitely come back again!

Excellent food, drinks and service. We shared a 750 gr steak and it was tender, juicy and flavorful. The server was welcoming and very knowledgeable of the menu. The restaurant was warm and cozy. When making the reservation, I indicated that we were celebrating a birthday so the dessert came out with a "happy birthday" writing on it. My friend thoroughly enjoyed his birthday dinner celebration.

Expectations were high but the meat was nothing special - had 2 Australian Ribeye steaks which were simply ok - hugely overpriced for what it offers. Service was great.

Previously scored Goodman 5 star, but alas, it's dropped a star. I've been 5 times now, and this time was my last. heres why.... We attended in a party of seven and were kept waiting to sit down for over 5 minutes at the door. It took another 10 minutes for our drinks order to be taken. Starters were amazing, well done guys, Tuna, Lobster and Boston Crab superb. We all had a variety of mains from burgers, fillets, ribeyes, and some Wagu to share. The steaks were distinctly worse than the previous visit, no one enjoyed the Wagu, and the burger was returned. The other steaks were good but not great. All sides were very good. The fries were crispy and perfect. Desserts were great but again took ages to arrive. Our bill for seven was £1,100 Inc wine. In summary, if you want a good lunch time steak, you won't be disappointed. However, if you want something special, give Goodman a miss.

Standard steakhouse fare, great quality. Interesting beef, waiter was knowledgeable about wine and beef. I splurged a bit for a nice steak, but I have a feeling that the cheaper cuts are also very good. Sides were good. Peppercorn sauce was perfect. Really attentive service.

Sadly, the steak, the main thing people go to Goodman's for isn't as good as Hawksmoor which I'd say is their main competitor based on price/value. The team at Goodman's is great though and will ensure you have a good experience. They are also very knowledgeable and will explain all the different cuts to you. The sides were great but for the price you pay you'd expect a better steak

Perfectly cooked steak, great ambience, good quality oysters, good wines, tasty sides. Glad we got a table when we randomly rocked up, although we were seated by the bar and not in the main restaurant area we were still well tended too and the staff were amazing. Definitely a place I would return to again or bring family/friends.

I had a very tasty steak and their legendary triple cooked truffle chips. Have been to their Mayfair branch countless times and enjoyed our visit to the City branch on this occasion.

Food that is truly delicious, with a simple yet elegant presentation. They took a dish I didn't like, mole, and turned it into one of my favourites of the night. Definitely worth the money. The desserts were also excellent.

The steaks were absolutely SO GOOD! There were 8 of us and ordered different types of steaks, I tried both the USDA Angus Beef (fillet and sirloin) and the Yorkshire Ridings ( Fillet and Rib Eye), they were all really soft and tender. Also ordered hand cut chips, mac and cheese, green beans, mushrooms, Goodman salad, and spinach side dishes. Really couldn’t find any deficiencies from the dishes except the waitress was a bit too busy to look after us, and the bar area was very loud so we had to keep our voices high while talking, but overall still worth 5/5!

Fantastic food paired up with 5☆ service. This place is lively and have very good atmosphere. Steak was one of the best i tasted in my life and cooked to perfection. Staff was very accomodating and nothing is problem for them.

Service was exceptional and the staff were very informative. The quality of the food was of a high standard. The porter house steak was cooked to perfection and could not fault it. The wine selection is quite vast and varied so you will be spoilt for choice. The portions were just right and I left there content with no complaints. Will be back.

Goodman City is as good as any US steak house. I would call out the wait staff as being very attentive to a large group, and the food and specifically the drinks were superb. A great place to eat in London.

Great meal at this upscale Steakhouse. Cooked to perfection the Steak is Devine, nice sides as well. Has classic Business London city vibes . Nice selection of Wines and Service is Brilliant

One of those excellent and consistent quality steak restaurants. I nearly gave it a 5 but I just find the prices slightly too high. It is a 5 star for quality but 4 overall. It is around 50 per person minimum just to eat - so not cheap. Plus it can so easily be 100 per person depending. Therefore a "treat" really. I do think if they slightly lowered their prices though, us regulars would go more often. Great service

The steak I had was amazing. All the food I had was lovely tbh. I was out with 2 colleagues from Amsterdam, and they also said food was amazing.

Just... wow. Expensive, but absolutely delicious and you won't be left disappointed. The best fillet I've ever had, with amazing sauces and sides that perfectly suit the amazing steak. You know the food is good when you're diving into your own delectable meal and cheekily eyeing another patrons steak...

Excellent food, service, ambiance, and location; quite pricey, but that should not be a surprise given the market segment they are targeting; it's essentially the same as Hawksmoor and similar restaurants, and a step up from Gaucho. Really enjoyed the meal, very good assistance from the chefs and the sommelier. Highly recommend the amazing button mushrooms side dish, and the onions are a delight! Get both!

5 star all the way. Faultless service . The best chicken I have ever eaten. Superb presentation. We received a complementary chocolate cake at the end of the meal which was simply stunning . Wine and cocktails top draw.

Fantastic steak. Arguably one of the best out there, certainly in London. Topped up with nice and friendly staff. Have been here many times and it never disappoints.

Hugely disappointing. My Sirloin Steak was so fatty, 70% was inedible. Plate was taken without any question of why I had left so much. Chips were very good however. I wouldn't go back and would not recommend.

I’ve usually eat at the Canary Wharf restaurant, but ended up here since I was out in the city. Doesn’t disappoint, great service and pretty much everything on the menu is superb. This place deserves more than 5 stars.

Service was incredible. Very nice touch for my girlfriends birthday. Food was amazing as was the wine. Well priced and would happily go again.
