Loved
loved
loved
Barrafina
on
Dean
Street.
We
already
had
most
of
our
London
meals
planned
out
and
didn't
realize
this
was
just
a
short
walk
from
our
hotel,
but
we
were
intrigued
seeing
it
packed
each
evening
as
we
walked
by
so
we
decided
to
make
a
stop
for
a
late
lunch
(when
it
was
less
busy)
on
our
third
day,
and
we're
so
glad
we
did.
First,
a
shout-out
to
the
kitchen
staff.
Everyone
was
so,
so,
so
generous
and
hospitable
despite
how
busy
it
was,
and
it
seemed
like
the
staff
truly
loved
to
be
there.
The
bar
seating
allowed
us
to
chat
with
multiple
chefs,
and
that
just
added
to
the
wonderful
vibes.
Chef
Milla
even
indulged
us
with
photos
in
the
kitchen
area
behind
the
bar
counter!
The
food
was
just
as
exceptional.
As
huge
fans
of
tapas,
we
loved
the
pan
con
tomate
(clearly
a
favorite
here),
the
baby
gem,
and
the
grilled
squid.
We
also
had
the
langoustine
special,
which
was
cooked
and
flavored
perfectly.
We
would've
had
more
but
we
had
a
big
dinner
lined
up.
Overall,
we
had
an
absolute
blast
at
Barrafina,
and
the
food
and
service
definitely
warrant
its
Michelin
Star.
I'd
recommend
going
during
off-peak
hours
(the
menu
I
believe
is
the
same
throughout
the
day)
to
avoid
to
long
waits,
but
given
the
quality
of
the
food
and
hospitality,
Barrafina
is
still
worth
the
wait.
Will
certainly
be
back
when
in
London.
