Authentically British and comforting, the portions are filling enough and prepared well. We had the English breakfast and Croque Madame, with good coffee and tea. Another favorite of mine is the hot fluffy pancakes with maple-glazed crispy bacon strips. Every outlet has a warm, lovely, bustling vibe that completes the memorable dining experience.

I had really high expectations of this place since it has always been one of my breakfast place on my to do list. After this experience I can say it was really disappointing. The music was extremely loud that I couldn’t even hear the waitress when ordering the food or have a pleasant conversation. We ordered the classic/famous pancakes which was the most expensive option in the menu but definitely not worth it. The pancakes were dry and it did not have much taste. I always give a second opportunity to places I go but there will be a low possibility in returning to The Breakfast club Spitalfields.

Location is perfect, the feeling is that of an old restaurant. Staff is really attending and fast and good in sales. Kitchen is fast and you get good quality and more than enough for what you pay. Good breakfast for an entire day through London, visit them.

Really disappointed - had heard so many good things about this place. Firstly, the service was really slow. They seemed pretty understaffed. Of the 3 dishes ordered: 1) Eggs royale arrived cold 2) Disco hash was incredibly salty to the point it was inedible 3) The French toast was drowned in a sugary glaze that had solidified on the bread…when you ate it, your teeth became clamped shut I rate this a 3/5 (food was a 1/5) because the staff handled the situation well. We were given 50% off the food and the manager was very reasonable, understanding and handled the situation swiftly.

Found the place here on Google with some great reviews... So had to check it out. It didn't disappoint. The walk to get here is amazing through some small older streets and passage ways, and finally you get to the smaller door. The place is decorated in a 80's meets 70's theme (if that is a thing) with Smurf wallpaper in the bathroom. The staff hustles and turns the 20 or so tables quickly. They are friendly attentive and efficient. Food was amazing. The bread is hearty and delicious... And the'big stack' was wonderful. Well worth the price. I now understand why the place was busy and everyone seemed happy.

Had the best breakfast with four colleagues here. We all had different things and we were all very excited about what we had. Even though it was extremely busy, the service was fast and waitress very polite and funny. Great atmosphere, but also a bit noisy. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in the neighborhood.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cheerful American diner with pancakes and big breakfasts. Loved the Greasy Spoon which had eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns - really hit the spot! Service was cheerful and efficient. Huge waiting times on weekends, so be prepared. The booth seats are by the window so very bright, but also extremely uncomfortable - basically benches nailed to the ground so the tables aren’t really the right distance from you. If you feel like it, head to the speakeasy underground - a tidy little bar with great drinks 👍🏻

Hugely delicious breakfast at this establishment! Delicious drinks and food was top notch. I myself took the full american breakfast, highly recommended. We had a reservation and were able to get in quickly, which was fortunate because there was a long queue constantly. We'll be back here again!

Loved loved loved having breakfast here! Which means a lot from a person who is not a morning person! I am glad I made a reservation beforehand, as I got in quickly however there was a huge line constanlty, especially around 11u30- 12u00. They have so many great options to choose from, also dairy free/vegan options! A must if you visit Londen! The atmosphere, staff and food is great! Also loved the smurfs toilet as the smurfs are from my home country Belgium!

Loved the atmosphere and decor, the staff were friendly and the food was amazing. Some of the best Vegan and Veggie food we've had in ages. The drinks are really pricey though, £5 for a fresh juice full of ice seemed a bit steep, even for London! We'd definitely eat here again, but will skip the juice next time ;)

I had the vegan version of the Pancakes, cream and berries over a weekend brunch. The portion size was great, and a waiter came around every 15 minutes to check in. The breakfast club was extremely busy when we entered, and they don’t take reservations. I left my name and mobile number with a staff member and they said a table would be ready in 30 minutes, I could leave and come back. This was great, as I didn’t have to physically stand and wait in a queue. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast/brunch.

Second visit and equally as good a few years apart. Strong selection of breakfasts and hot drinks made by pro baristas. Good portions. Slightly hidden in the street with no obvious signage, but the music will get your attention. The staff are spot on, friendly, professional and efficient. Great vibe. Be aware it can get super busy so be prepared to wait.

This place was recommended by my Let’s Go Europe book. Although they didn’t have the specific menu item I wanted anymore, the food was still amazing! I got the stack, and was definitely feeling full afterwards. If you have time for breakfast or brunch, I definitely recommend coming to this place.

Surprisingly tasty food, many vegan options too. The place has a rustic vibe. Very friendly staff. Order hot drinks and food together it may take 30-45 min for food to arrive home We booked in advance for table. If you are planning to visit book table

Delicious food and lovely vibe for reasonable price in the heart of the city. The waiters are kind and fast, the pancakes were amazing and the toast with the omelette was pretty good too. However prepare for like 15-30 minutes of waiting to get seated if you don't have reservation because this is a very popular place.

‼️ in general 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 local chain of mainly breakfast restaurants. Amazing portions, good food but a bit expensive. 🥓🥔🍳 American breakfast ⭐⭐⭐⭐ amazing breakfast! Big portions an explosion of taste. Only problem the eggs missed flavours. 🛋️ Atmosphere 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 loved the place! Welcoming, fast in serving and very clean.

This club is more about the atmosphere and not about food quality. I really wanted to like it, however. The Eggs benedict was on a dried out roll. Definitely not fresh. Sauce is tasteless. Very noisy for a breakfast place in my opinion. Like being in a Pub on a Friday night...

Outstanding food, relaxed venue, kind staff and exceptional cocktails! This pretty much sums up the place very well. We had all breakfast, cornflake chicken burger, 2 cocktails: margarita and one with grapefruit and fries and it was more than enough. Paid around 50£. One thing I would say tho is that the chicken burger was more of a sandwich, still tasty but now what I expected as it was in the burger section of the menu and no one informed me that its not going to be a burger. I definitely recommend the place although make sure you get familiar with the menu and ask questions, especially fi you are thinking of taking the chicken burger.

Food was amazing and service was super quick. I can only fault them on one of the dishes missing an item and the servers almost sarcastic comment when we asked for it. Other than that, it was brilliant!

Very popular and cool breakfast spot that was worth the short wait in the queue. A couple of plant based options and the Pb veggie spoon was spot on; putting tahini in the scrambled tofu was a blinder! Staff were friendly and for London it was reasonably priced. What’s behind that fridge door??!! The secret cocktail bar the previous evening made a birthday outing a lot of fun and being sat at the bar we got to watch the bar staff create their art 🍸

First time visiting this branch. I would regularly visit the Borough branch! Food was ok, baked beans was made different. It was ok. Scrambled eggs portions were bit smaller and the seating is way too cramped for my liking. Definitely too many tables and chairs squashed in there. I'll be sticking with my Borough branch, lots more space and I don't know feel the meal and vibe is a whole lot better than this one. IMO.

Love this place. Amazing food (10/10) lots of vegetarian options, great coffee, the all American is perfection. It’s a bit pricey (the all American is about £18) but it’s too good. We go whenever we have a chance. The music is a bit too loud unfortunately and the service is quite slow so don’t go if you’re in a rush.

Dont be put off by the queue - it moves quickly, and once you try the food you can understand why people are prepared to queue! I ordered the Bean Shakshuka and Avo Toast with gluten free bread and it was amazing!! Huge portion size, but still incredibly delicious. Full of flavour and great textures, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The egg yolks were a lovely orange colour and tasted fresh too. The gluten free toast was really good - thick white bread that didn't taste stale and dry. Good value for money in London when you consider the portion size. The staff are SO friendly! Our waitress told me gluten free pancakes are also available, and that whilst the bacon itself was gluten free, the risk of cross contamination means it's not suitable for everyone who avoids gluten. I appreciated this information because I am coeliac.

While at £14 for a small cooked breakfast and a coffee I won’t be coming here all the time, I feel the quality of the food justifies the price point. Simple but high quality ingredients which manage to elevate the experience without losing the spirit of an English breakfast. I haven’t found many establishments that manage to pull that off. Shockingly crowded and trendy for a breakfast place, but apart from the crowds I thought the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.

Been twice to this branch and both times have been excellent, especially this time as the staff knew it was a birthday celebration and they made a little fuss. The portions are pretty big and 4 of us had different dishes, all of which were really delicious. Coffees also excellent. Thanks team!

Came here on a Saturday morning for brunch and had to wait in line for around 10 mins before being seated but I have to say it is was well worth waiting in line! The blueberry pancakes were soo thick and fluffy which accommodated so well with the crispy bacon and maple syrup.

Service here is really good, staff very polite and proactive. Vibe is nice, music a bit loud but works well with the aesthetic, and so does the selection of music. Food was okay. I got the bacon sandwich which was really tasty, but the cheese hadn’t fully melted, the bun was slightly soggy and the the bacon was too hard. Those slight improvements would have made it one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while.

This place has the best breakfast in London. I thought it was very vibrant. I’m not even kidding, it was so vibrant and classic with so much history about the restaurant. I got a pancake and it was delicious. My mom got Eggs Benedict and for her, it was phenomenal. For appetizers, we got French toast, it was the best. The staff are so kind as well and have smiles on their faces. This is by far the best breakfast in London I’ve had and I definitely recommend.

I had an amazing experience here. Yolanda greeted me at the door and her kindness and smile made all the difference. Eloise was my server and she was also really kind. This place is a must in London. Great food, great value for your money, great ambience. Amazing staff

Got the special breakfast through deliveroo. Overall, a very good choice and would order again. Breakdown: - hashbrowns were crispy and tasty, probably the best ive had - bacon was cooked just right (not solid crispy, but with texture) and actually very tasty as well - eggs, tomatos, buttered bread were good - sausage was alright - mushrooms could’ve been cooked a bit more maybe - beans were pretty plain (the only item that could definitely be improved)

The Breakfast Club has always been a good option for a nice breakfast / brunch in London. This visit was quite pleasant, nice and tasty food. Loved the environment however the service could have been a bit better. Anyway, a good choice and would be back for sure!

A mixed review. The atmosphere and decor is great and they have made a great cafe. However, the service wasn't great. We waited 45 minutes for our food. At first, we were told that it was because two large parties had arrived which meant the kitchen was busy. The manager then explained that the kitchen had actually lost our ticket. When the food did come, the poached eggs were cold so this needed to be sent back. This place could be great, it's just a shame that our experience didn't live up to expectations.

Great place for breakfast/brunch. Good options, great portions and fair pricing. There's also a fridge that opens up to a speakeasy.

Fantastic venue, great food, excellent staff. Went for dinner. Lots of space and the food was served very quick. The food was excellent as ever. Definitely recommended for lunch or dinner. Don't forget to ask the staff to speak to the Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town for an a extra treat. Trust me

It was Tuesday morning, early November 2023. Even though I already had breakfast, with a friend at a different place, before. We decided to go somewhere they serve sweet pancakes. The Breakfast Club Spitalfields was around, and I would like to a give (5) star rating for the bright welcoming from the guy (blonde curly hair, tall) at the entrance, and five (5) star rating for the brunette guy with the moustache, who served as the vegan berry fruits pancakes! Him, along with the rest of the crew, made our pancakes a little bit tastier, with the way they treated us. Kudos!

A breakfast of champions, Simple but masterful, tasty cuisine. Waiters are friendly and attentive. Typical London atmosphere. We had to wait 20 minutes because the restaurant was full. It was worth the wait. The eggs benedict with mushrooms and truffles is incredible. The pancakes are soft and delicious. And the coffee is very good. Great address 10/10

A unique place that focuses on the different types of breakfasts from the full English to American pancakes. If you don't want breakfast, there is a selection of fried chicken dishes which my group chose. The food was good but nothing to write home about. My friend had the fried chicken with French toast and said it was very dry. The loaded fries had fried chicken on top with a bit of spicy sauce (Tabasco like) which were nice. The milkshakes though were great. Simple and tasty.

The food was delicious, and cost about as much as you would expect from a restaurant opposite Liverpool St station. The Nashville fried chicken was crispy and spicy, and incorporating it into eggs Benedict made it rich and decadent. The service was friendly, but could have been a bit more attentive (although it was a busy morning). Convenient location and good atmosphere.

The breakfast was amazing and definitely a hearty portion. I would add pictures but was too hungry and it looked too good not to eat. Amazing service from Manuel who made us feel comfortable and always made sure we were okay and had everything we need. Also Tina who was really friendly and accommodating. Will DEFINITELY come back again.

Great place, attentive staff, really good food, particularly the all American breakfast. Pancakes were nice and fluffy! Reasonably priced I’d say for central London. Food didn’t take long to come to the table either. This place is very popular, and as such I’d recommend using the Walk in App to join a virtual queue before hand so you have a table ready for you when you are close by.

Friendly service and really cool decorated place to enjoy your morning coffee and meal. We ate eggs benedict, greesy spoon and chocolate balls. Salt food was really great, while balls were a bit greesy. All in all, would recommend and give it s try.

Booked a table, so zero wait. Food was lovely - top marks for that. Service was good, had few hick ups on the bill, but it was sorted very quickly. Thx team, we had a great lunch.

A fun place to experience an American style menu. Happy hour is 6-7pm. The only downside - the old school gym bench seats are not comfortable. Made Thameslink seats feel like first class. But made up for by tasty food with pancakes (and cocktails)

  • 2/5 Gunjan A. 9 months ago on Google
Walked up to this place with very high expectations only to be let down… The veggie sausage was very tough to chew and could barely cut it with a knife.. flavor wise also not great. The veggie bacon just felt like a really badly fried thick chip.. with an after taste of some flavor which I did not enjoy.. I ordered fresh mint tea… and I got served a hot cup of water with mint leaves on top?!? Seriously now, I’m an tea person and this to me was just annoying. Don’t call it a yea if there’s no tea in it… Ambience was great but can really work on the the vegetarian section, it was just not living up to the reputation of the place..

Absolutely amazing experience at The Breakfast Club! Only had to wait about 15 mins and the service was quick and helpful. I would also recommend the green juice, an unexpected favorite! The food and coffee was great, I would definitely go back again!

Great location. The place is huge for its alley location. Once we were sat, our service was fast. Staff was friendly. Lots of variety. I really loved their eggs. They have a decent rendition of a English breakfast. Did not like that the beans came in a tin bowl which I feel affected the flavor.

Everything about this place was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and the coffee was heavenly! Manu, made the BEST cappuccino I’ve ever had! They were so attentive and the place had a cool vibe to it. I wish there were one in NY! If you’re in London, this is an absolute must visit!
