Firstly
the
hotel
is
very
nice
although
a
little
hard
to
find
and
located
right
on
the
river
.
Once
we
found
the
hotel
,check
in
is
very
simple
and
your
car
is
parked
by
a
valet
(parking
is
£25
per
night
)
also
be
aware
you
are
liable
to
pay
the
congestion
charge
(£15
),
our
room
was
nicely
situated
on
the
6th
floor
and
are
very
comfortable,
there
is
an
ironing
board
,a
safe
,tea
and
coffee
making
facilities
in
the
room
but
on
the
first
night
we
had
no
water
,also
no
biscuits
for
a
morning
or
evening
dunk
,
there
are
a
small
selection
of
coffee
and
tea
and
sugar
and
sweetners
.
The
bed
was
very
nice
,large
bed
,firm
mattress
and
spare
pillows
in
the
room
,so
slept
very
well
.
The
shower
is
a
big
walk
in
one
with
a
lovely
sunflower
head
and
a
very
nice
flow
of
water,
there
are
shower
gels
,shampoo
and
conditioner
available
as
well
and
the
towels
are
nice
and
soft
,also
there
are
two
sinks,
which
is
really
helpful
.
We
also
used
room
service
a
couple
of
times
,both
times
the
food
was
very
nice
and
delivered
promptly.
There
is
a
nice
bar
and
restaurant
down
in
the
lobby
with
a
view
over
the
Thames
and
the
food
was
very
good
,Inc
the
buffet
breakfast,
the
staff
are
very
good
,friendly
and
helpful
both
in
the
evening
and
at
breakfast
.
A
few
negatives
...on
arrival
we
needed
to
make
a
show
in
Central
London
and
had
no
time
to
source
our
own
cab
,
I
asked
for
a
preferred
cab
company
the
hotel
used
and
the
receptionist
contacted
a
company
(falcon
cabs
)
the
price
was
£50
,
expensive
because
of
the
rail
strike
I
was
told
,so
had
little
choice
but
to
accept
as
we
had
already
bought
show
tickets
,
the
cab
picked
us
up
and
dropped
us
NEAR
the
theatre
saying
we
were
close
but
he
wasn't
sure
exactly
where
the
place
was
,also
the
driver
said
as
we
would
br
using
a
card
there
would
be
a
charge
(another
£10
,so
now
£60
)
after
the
show
we
caught
a
black
cab
back
and
that
same
journey
cost
us
£28
!!!
The
driver
said
we
should
report
them
to
TFL
but
when
we
checked
the
receipt
given
to
us
by
the
first
driver
it
was
blank
,no
driver
name
,price
or
reg
number
but
we
have
proof
of
payment
on
our
on
line
banking
app
,
its
disappointing
that
the
hotel
would
use
a
company
that
on
the
face
of
it
have
a
less
than
fare
pricing
policy
.
Also
if
you
are
booking
this
hotel
because
of
its
proximity
to
the
O2
please
be
aware
it
is
on
the
opposite
side
of
the
river
and
will
involve
a
£20
(each
way
)
taxi
ride
..not
a
big
deal
but
good
to
know
.
Lastly
,although
the
restaurant
is
very
good
the
food
selection
for
evening
meals
seems
very
limited
for
a
hotel
of
this
size,
couple
of
fish
dishes,
2
steak
choices
,burger
,a
pasta
dish,
a
salad
choice
??
and
a
couple
of
pizza
choices
and
2
or
3
dessert
choices
,
the
breakfast
menu
has
far
more
choices
!!
(
but
food
was
extremely
nice
)
Overall
,apart
from
the
£60
taxi
rip
off
the
hotel
is
very
good
indeed
,staff
are
very
good
and
the
cleanliness
in
the
rooms
and
public
areas
are
excellent
.
