I have passed here for years, but never had time to stop. Today l decided was the day, my first visit was to the restaurant, it's massive, lots of seating indoor and outdoors. Great menu and a vast selection of food in offer, snacks, light food to a full meal. I enjoyed wandering around the large grounds that seem to go on forever. I was spoilt for choice when it came to plants and also garden furniture. I had to get back to London so had to cut my time short. Now l know what it's like l will return with more time to be in thus amazing space.

First time visiting this garden centre and I have to say it's great. It's very large and got lots of very good items on sale. Haven't tried the restaurant yet but I am sure it will be great too 👍 Update June 2022: they have changed the restaurant area a bit and they added a deli style shop. In terms of food itself is more like a 3/5 not really that great but they do have plenty of seating and outdoor seating as well.

A really lovely garden centre. Wonderful Christmas displays. Only disappoinment was with the toilets. It's fine that they have toilets lit for action but there was water all over the floor and they were very dirty. Lovely butchers, farm shop, pet store/aquatic area and cafe. Would definitely recommend.

We bought a cool gazebo from here and loads of plants that are flourishing and some quality planters/pots. Nice airy café on-site if you fancy a break and sit down, for coffee, snacks, lunch or sweet treats. Vast selection of plants, outdoor living [high-end], cool garden furniture and horticultural accessories, that are hard to find else-where. There is also a farm shop with cheese counter and Japanese Koi fish for sale too. Large, free car park for tension free shopping and get some real horticultural bargains when they have a sale.

We went to see Halloween circus. Its great time to enjoy with kids. The all acts are awesome and we really had a great family time here. I am not sure about other services they provide so can't say anything about it :)

Saturday breakfast in the restaurant. Staff really polite and friendly, good food at very reasonable prices. Have been here before and will continue to do so. My only slight issue is the food plates are cold and the wait for the tea/coffee at the end section resulted in our food being cold by the time we had sat at a table to eat. The one girl doing teas and coffees wasn't at fault as she can only make one drink at a time, but when 6 drinks need making in front of us, that's a flaw in the system which could be avoided by one extra hand at the tea section? Otherwise very good!

Love the aquatics section of the garden centre. Dogs allowed and a great pet selection of toys, food, treats etc. Staff are friendly and helpful. There's a good sized cafe to eat in at serving coffees and teas, pastries/cakes etc as well as meals.

Beautiful displays, lots of lovely Christmas decorations, sadly not much in the way of Christmas gifting. Christmas wonderland was amazing, so many wonderful photo opportunity’s. All the elves were friendly and helpful. The only let down was there were not many present options for my two year old nephew or my 6 month old nephew, they both really enjoyed all the interactive displays. All in all would recommend Christmas Wonderland the smiles were worth every penny.

3rd year visiting for Santa for kids and it’s always brilliant. They make a lot of effort and the kids love the walk through. The garden centre itself is very nice and we love the farm shop and cafe/restaurant!

A very extensive garden centre with so much more than just plants. There’s a restaurant, a farm shop, pet area with fish, lizards, tortoises, Guinea pigs, outdoor furniture, pots, indoor plants, gifts, water features, bbqs, fire pits.

Good quality plants with competitive pricing. Good restaurant inside. Always a lot to offer for everyone. Plants are nice and healthy. Every few weeks there is an event which you can attend and learn new skills. Good place to visit.

So slightly pricey in the restaurant but decent portion sizes. I think £2 for a can seems a tad excessive. But the staff are polite and helpful so it's not too hard to bear.

I recently visited for afternoon tea as it was a birthday treat for my mums 70th! I’m sad to say we was very disappointed in the service and quality of the food we was served , the cakes were very dry and the scones were hard. We was not asked if we wanted anymore drinks and couldn’t even see a member of staff to ask so only had the one , as we were leaving we was asked by a pleasant and polite young member of staff called Paige if we enjoyed it so told her we wasnt happy and she apologised and offered us a free take away drink . We was both looking forward to afternoon tea but unfortunately it was very disappointing 😞

I love this place, it has just about everything you would want. A pet section, fish section, gifts, indoor and outdoor plants with appropriate furniture to suit. There is an indoor cafe and outside cafe seating in little chalet style pods (with heating lamps) where dogs are permitted. Staff are lovely, helpful and friendly, so worth a visit.

Great check out staff. They're preparing store for Christmas but maintain good selection of autumn plants outside - 30% discount on plants 🪴 till 31st October. Bought heather's, cyclamen etc.

I have been going here for years, and for years loved taking mum especially around Christmas for their displays. After mum passed I didnt visit for a while, then popped in. There is a new sort of farm shop which appears to have lovely food, but its expensive and a lot of it is chain products so not really that exciting. What was dissapointing is the restaurant, we arrived early lunch, there was little on the cooked and things were a bit dry, the selection all in all wasnt as good as before. Our actaul food not very nice. Hopefully just a bad day, as it really used to be so nice to visit, but this time dissapointing. In years gone by the christmas decorations were amazing and vast, I suspect my visit this year was too early and they havnt got all their usual selection out yet.

Great place to visit at Xmas time. Great for kids. Plenty of christmas decorations to view but for this old geezer though stuff is too dear. Good for the local economy though.

I took my 3 children to experience santas grotto on an off chance as most places near where I lived was booked up. It was the first time coming here( an hours drive) and we all was soo amazed by this stunning place! My eldest is 15 and usually is bored but she loved it so much, she said it’s the best one she’s ever been to! I loved how at the end they all got a token to pick a gift after seeing Santa- there was such a variety of toys they could choose from! The team was all so friendly and happy and it made me and my children’s experience so wonderful and magical. Thank you all at Chessington garden centre we will be back!

Good variety of plants in good condition, also a area to hard landscaping equally for fencing and an aquatic centre with pond liners and pumps , also has a farm shop and a restaurant

Absolutely brilliant....the effort put into making Santa's grotto was amazing, so much going on, so magical and no long q's and great presents.....even Santa was the real deal.....will make this a regular Christmas visit every year.

There is not only products and flowers to buy but also goldfish and tropical ones too. You can spend an hour easy to do your shopping and there is even a restaurant inside to make it a day out. The place is huge indoors and outdoors. You can almost buy anything to make your garden look pretty. The prices of flower bulbs and seeds are very reasonable and the staff will help if you ask them. It is definitely worth shopping there if you like gardening.

The staff were really nice. They seemed happy in their work. Very relaxed. Some of the staff were setting up the Christmas items in a restricted area. She noticed me looking at the item, and although these items were not ready to be sold as she put it, the "area was closed for my health and safety." But she did bring the nutcracker to me, and allowed me to purchase it. Taking time away from her completing her task. Thank you.

Brilliant centre with everything from sauces to outdoor kitchens available. We got a variety of meats for an Easter BBQ. The quality was second to none. Staff were smiling and helpful. Crowds was minimal, easy to navigate and friendly.

Chessington garden centre seems to have lost all its customers. It used to be heaving and now it's sadly declining. I wonder if this is to do with the fact they are no longer have the dog friendly restaurant they used to, making everyone sit outside? Cake choice and portions have decreased. Be careful with the "2 waffles" as this is actually two quarters of a "not very nice" waffle that left a bad taste in our mouths. False advertising when you draw pictures of whole waffles to showcase your product. Overall a bitter disappointment. I preferred the old Chessington garden centre. We won't be back in a hurry

Such great service!!! The restaurant staff were amazing especially the hot food staff who couldn't have been more helpful and kindly brought our food over as they were waiting on some freshly cooked hash browns!! We ended up buying much more garden furniture etc. than we anticipated as the prices were very good and the sale priced items were excellent value. We travel quite far to shop here but it's always worth it.

Good garden centre. At time of visiting not so good gift dept! Dogs now welcome but did have to sit outside. Big garden centre, well worth a visit especially at Xmas time...

Went to look and have a coffee . Nice friendly staff , great selection of products food plans, outdoor plants Pet section but to be honest everything across the whole store is very over priced and most of the product I saw were nearly double of other places and just as good quality , so therfore only gave 3 stars but purely on pricing of products everything else was spot on .

Wonderful garden centre, very big with lots of gardening products, plants, clothes, indoor and outdoor. Nice cafe inside. Also great range of pet products and pets on offer. They also host a wonderful Christmas grotto for children to meet Santa.

Very nice place to buy lots of bits to our house and garden. Loved the Christmas market, it was great to visit. The cafe serves okish hot food. Supermarket sells very good products despite being a bit expensive but I guess we end up paying for quality.
