👍👍 My local library - absolutely love it. Large and has many floors, inclusive to all age groups. Last minute printing saved my life once. Very quiet and exactly what you need from a library. People often mention library, staff, books, nice,

This is a fantastic community hub that seamlessly blends culture and education. It's not just a library; it's a dynamic space offering a wide range of resources, from books to workshops and cultural events. The friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere make it a place that's accessible and inviting for all. It's an invaluable resource for the community, promoting a love of learning and culture, and serving as a true neighbourhood gem.

Free entrance. Well lit and spacious, with lots of sitting spaces. The staff seems helpful and the there are plenty of books. Some bookshelves seem to be mislabelled (religion books are placed under philosophy for example). However, the environment is conducive for working and studying for sure. A small Brent museum and exhibition at Level 2, which is interesting, would be nice to walk around to spend some time.

The structure is great, the building is really nice! However, it is more like a school playground than a library. Unfortunately, it is packed with kids socializing, shouting, laughing, talking on their phones, etc. with no regards for the fact they are in a library. It ruins the place for its original purpose and the local community ends up avoiding it.

Staff member Agitha is extremely rude and dismissive. I was not going to complain but she was very rude to another person just 20minutes after being rude with me. She wasn’t willing to give any information simply rushing me away saying “why, why do you want to know, go and look yourself it’s easy”. She did not want to be distracted from her personal activity forgetting she is at work. Rude tone and bad attitude. Other staff were friendly, and the library is big and clean.

honestly not happy about the current opening hours. This library used to be open for longer and they took advantage of the lockdown to have shorter hours. There’s over 10schools in the area and people need somewhere to study, the library was usually packed with students. But now where can these students go if their library doesn’t accommodate to them anymore?

Loved the library. It's quiet and welcoming, a great place to read a book, study, or just chill quietly. And the exhibition about the history of Brent and Wimbledon is amazing!

Genuinely just a nice place to study and do work, the actual library is pretty vast especially if you are a student. The reason I gave this library 5 starts is because the staff are so nice and accommodating, it doesn't matter how old you are or what attitude you come with they are always very patient and will even take the time to show you step by step how to solve an issue which is very much appreciated especially when you are stressed and you just want to get some work done.

Comfortable and welcoming. Good place to study. Some places you'll need to bring headphones. Toilets are quite defective. Please fix!

Been a member of Brent Library since the Seventies. Watched it being upgrade about every decade. It's a beautiful place. Spans three floors, many entrances and exits so there is no paranoia or claustrophobia. There are stairs and lifts. I recommended using the stairs if you are claustrophobic. Up-to-date computer facilities, printing, photocopying. Very spacious with lots of 'quiet spaces' for the studious. There was an out-of-order coffee machine there when I visited recently. Toilet self-flushes. Automatic water flow from taps As a book lover, I think it's a smashing place. No food allowed. People bring their own bottled water. There is a proper Artists' Gallery, Ground Floor, which showcases Artists works (from all wakes of life) periodically.

Nice and interesting place, there is an art gallery which i enjoyed the most. Also, there is a museum on the 2nd floor where you can discover a bit more about Brent history.

Not too bad. Clean and welcoming on the inside and friendly staff. However printing facilities with coin payments is not okay in 2021.

I have recently started volunteering here for the Duke Of Edinburgh. The library is very modern and spacious. Due to it getting busy it is hard for us to control the amount of noise but if you ask then staff can lead you to the IT room which is only completely silent area in the library. Sometimes it can be a mess because people things leave around but we try our best to keep it as organised as possible. The exhibition here is really cool on the 2nd floor and an awesome place to take children. Most staff are really friendly and will help you out.
