The worst budget hotel I've ever stayed at. You couldn't get anymore basic even if you tried. It was so ridiculously uncomfortable. There is just about an AC in the room but it doesn't work. Do not recommend whatsoever

This is the worst hotel that I ever stayed in in my whole life. We booked the no window room. The AC, and heater were not working, the only way to have air was through the little ventilation whole. Room is extremely small, 9m2 for 2 people. I don't think it's even humane. We two adults can barely move in the room. Due to the poor ventilation, the room is extremely humid and moldy. At some point, we even opened our room door for air.

Very weird place. Rent boys that live here trying to make money lol. The cleaners rude and noisy. If you want to sleep I would suggest going somewhere else you won't get sleep here. Good job I never paid to stay here.

I expected very little, and somehow got even less. Normally I'm an "As long as it's clean, even a basic hotel room is fine", but the room wasn't clean and it was easily the worst place we've ever stayed We literally got a small double bed, and the smallest "bathroom" you've ever seen. And that's literally it - not even so much as a tiny TV, clothes rail, or a shelf in the room to put something down on. I think a basic small TV is really the absolute minimum additional furniture that can be expected. The room was dirty, the bathroom was even dirtier, we were given 2 pathetic pillows which were so thin that together they barely counted as 1. When asking for more we were given just 1 more the same, and ended up just buying some more pillows There's almost no sound insulation between the rooms, so you can hear far too much of what's going on in the rooms next door or above. The window (which costs extra!) barely opens, the air conditioning/fan built into the wall didn't work at all. And the whole place, although cheaper than others, was still ridiculously priced for what you get. The staff were pleasant, and the one thing this place has got going for it is a decent location near Paddington, but other than that it's by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in and easily the worst value, even for London. I'd avoid this place like the plague (and considering how dirty it was, I could almost mean that literally) If I could give 0 stars I would, this place is truly, truly awful

It's fine. Room was tidy, well decorated. Beds comfortable and fresh. Bathroom a bit small, but that's fine. Only problem. The heating was turned off and locked off. Was absolutely freezing in the room.

Had a great night's sleep here whilst visiting Hyde Park for BST. Yes the room is small but you expect that for such a good price in London and location was perfect for us. The hotel is in the middle of a refurb so our room was lovely and fresh and the bed was so comfy! Little weird having the bed pushed against the wall but didn't matter for one night. As a bonus we were able to check in a bit early šŸ‘ got the 215 bus from London Euston and stopped literally outside the front of the hotel. Would definitely use again if visiting Hyde Park. There's also a curry house next door that did delicious food although the London prices were a bit of a shock!

Booked triple room, at rate that was significantly less than competitors (Travelodge etc) in the area. Early check in was given for free, and late check out was paid for. Room was spotless and recently refurbished. Beds were comfortable enough. Bathroom was small and cramped but shower had good pressure. Front desk was very nice and attentive. Location is the best part of this hotel - very centrally located, minutes from Paddington station. Overall, would stay here again.

Room was compact, but clean and the shower is good. There are no tea making facilities in the room, which I would expect from a brand hotel. The room was very noisy and made sleep difficult. The main problem is lack of sound proofing, so the upstairs guests making basic noise was an issue. You could hear them coughing, walking, showering etc. The corridor is also noisy. The location is good and close to the train station. If you are super tall or super wide, don't book these rooms as they are tiny.

Worst rooms Iā€™ve ever stayed in, Iā€™ve stayed in many hotels but never came across as worst as this hotel, canā€™t even sleep that one night. Woke up early and checked out. Small room and they barely fitted the bed in that room and the toilet is as small as the store room one person can barely go in. Itā€™s just disgusting, After the shower Water is all over the toilet floor not going through. Anyone please if you ever wanna Stay in surroundings of Paddington please donā€™t choose this hotel. Itā€™s not worth it at all. Besides the fact that itā€™s cheap or expensive do not choose this hotel anyway. Thank you.

Do not stay here! I stayed here recently and had a traumatic experience. At 5am the man on reception came into our room whilst we were fast a sleep said ā€˜ he thought the room was un occupiedā€™ and I phoned reception terrified as we thought someone broke into our room. When speaking to the ā€˜managerā€™ the next morning he was not sympathetic at all and didnā€™t offer any compensation, when trying to get a hold of their team online I just got ignored so hereā€™s a warning to not stay here if you want terrible customer service and a dirty small hotel room ( had to have my room changed too as the bed has mud in it )

Hotel was alright but you get what you pay for. Hotel room was very basic, got a double bed with a small TV. The bathroom was very claustrophobic and tap water wasnā€™t drinkable. They kindly provided towels and an electric fan however for our stay which helped keep my partner and I cool during our stay in the 27 degree London weather. Overall, for the price, Iā€™d say youā€™re better off looking for other options as the amenities and provisions the hotel gave was not worth it for its price point.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the easyHotel Paddington: my room felt new, very clean and functional, and despite being absolutely tiny, was perfect for a good night's sleep. Price is unbeatable given the location. Only real complaints are that there is no drinkable water at all, and that given the room configuration and absence of chair you can't really set up your laptop and get work done. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent! We arrived early but they accommodated us, the service and reception at the hotel is 5 star service. Very clean hotel! It's a budget hotel but the hotel is kept very clean, room was modern, bed was very comfy. Room size reminded me of my uni dorm room, it isn't luxurious but it was lovely and had a great sleep. Minutes from Paddington station and the tube, managed quite easily to get to the Shard and back in my heels! Lots of places to eat drink and shop within minutes of walking from the hotel. Will definitely recommend and use again when in London.

Don't expect much for a budget hotel but would have been nice if it was at least clean, didn't even get a proper bed was technically part of the wall like a block of concrete with a mattress. Too small for two people to get dressed at the same time. Shower was blocked to the point of flooding. Not worth Ā£60 even in London it is overpriced for the condition, wouldn't even say it's fit for a dog.

Booked hotel before looking at the reviews. Hotel is going through renovations. We got one of the newer rooms and for a budget hotel was perfectly fine . Managed to get the window open which is a first for me at a easy hotel and would recommend you get a window room due to the heat

Rooms are okay for a short stay, not very sound proof. Air conditioning unit needs some repair. The stairs and lobby areas are in some serious need of redecorating, very uninviting as a first impression.

I put 1 star because the location is ideal (right next Paddington station), and the staff is friendly. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for more than one night and because you don't have any other choice. I booked a double room with a window for my boyfriend and me. I was struggling to find something affordable with a great location a month before my getaway weekend, so I booked this place because it was central, and without reading the reviews but I should have. First of all, there is no space to put the bags, no hangers for our coats AND towels. This is the tiniest room I have ever see. I can brush my teeth and pee at the same time because of how close the toilet and the sink were. The shower was just right next to it and dirty. The bed was uncomfortable, the sheets had stains, and overall, it smells moldy in the room because there was no aeration. We tried to open the only window, but we even had trouble to close it lol. The walls were super thin, and we could hear the neighbors. We are shocked that such hotels still exist in London. The most shocking part was not to have drinking water in the hotel. We also had to pay Ā£5 to leave our stuff for the day. Anyway, do not ruin your stay in London by booking a hotel like this. Be smarter than my boyfriend and I and book somewhere else even if it is a bit more expensive but your stay will be better.

Economical and basic room. Water not drinkable and no alternative provided which is extremely unusual these days. Hardly believable in fact that you can have a London hotel not obliged to provide the most basic of things that is drinkable water. Reception were friendly and room was clean and mine had a TV, although the remote did not work so had to fiddle about to work out the buttons on top of the TV that was mounted high on the wall. A good option for a cheap stopover in Central London but bring a bottle of water work you.

Cleanliness: 3/5. Overall fine, bathroom was clean other than the shower. Bedroom was clean other than a coffee stain on the duvet sheets. Staff: 4/5. I had minimal time with them so I can't really reference their character, but they were friendly and accommodating when I did talk with them. Safety: 4/5. 24 hour manned reception helps you feel safe. No signage to put on doors to for 'do not disturb' or 'sleeping', no locked door indicator (although I'm sure they did lock). Location: 5/5. Great location, close to the station, lots of shops around, on the main road so you don't need to use any alleyways or off-beat paths. Amenities: 2/5 - the bare minimum. shower wasn't clean so I didn't use it, small TV, though again I didn't use it since I didn't want to handle the remote. I couldn't figure out the WiFi. The bedroom consisted of just two loosely fitted hangers , the small wall TV and the bed. Nowhere but the floor to place belongings. The bed itself was pressed against the wall and window, I placed one of the pillows against the window blinds to avoid it whilst I slept. Recommendations: 1 (maybe 2) night stays where you only use the room as a base to sleep. I wouldn't recommended for holiday stays or long stays. It works great as a budget overnight stay but I wouldn't use it for much more than that

The rooms were smelly. No window room in the basement. It smelt of dampness and mould. There were drip marks down the walls. Never have I been so repulsed. Had to take the room as London was full for the Queen's funeral. The only nice thing about this place was the lovely Indian ,gentleman on the counter. He was lovely, friendly and very helpful.

I thought as long as itā€™s clean it will be fine but itā€™s not, itā€™s pretty gross. The rooms are tiny, smallest double bed Iā€™ve ever seen and it has a strange smell. The bathroom was the size of a postage stamp! Cheap but bad value for money. Better off spending a little more.

Basic hotel. OK for somewhere to rest your head. Room was a little tight on space for the two of us.

  • 1/5 Lianne K. 2 years ago on Google
We had booked this hotel with the intention of having a place to rest to rest our heads for a few hours before setting off home. Upon arrival to the reception room to check in, we were told that someone else had already checked in under my name and that there was someone in the room we intended to stay in. It was shocking to hear how this could of happened seeing as they needed to check our ID before we were allowed to check in! The receptionist dealt with this situation calmly though which we appreciated. Asides from that, we got what we expected of a super budget hotel - somewhere close to the station where we could sleep for the night.

Worst hotel Iā€™ve ever stayed, absolutely disgusting, the hotel has a really strange smell like surgical smell, but not in a clean way. Kept up all night by the clinking of the air con, but it was too hot to turn off. Even the sanitiser dispenser was broken in the reception so I was unable to cleans myself of the filth I felt from having slept there. The man on reception was also asleep at his desk when we arrived back in the evening.

Stayed there for a week in the very smallest room as a family and I can't complain as everything was clean, the staff was friendly and had great services when needed but extra... Also the location makes it best, close to the hospital, station and 10 min walk to Oxford street. Next to the hotel you may find coffee shops, restaurants and small Tesco.

Thereā€™s no frills, and then thereā€™s this. Honestly, save your money. If youā€™re booking in advance this place isnā€™t much cheaper than anywhere else and itā€™s much worse. The ā€˜bathroomā€™ is a closet with a toilet and shower so close to each other you could wash your hair sitting on the loo. Itā€™s wet room style so all your things get soaked. My bed touched 4 walls, there was just enough space on the floor for my suitcase, but leaving it there blocked access to the bathroom. On the ground floor it reeks of damp and the carpets are filthy. The WiFi situation is maddening. There seems to be no option to buy online, it just says enter access code, with no option to purchase access. Been trying through the website and the app, no luck. If you checked out as a guest rather than creating an account apparently you just canā€™t have internet. Also the signal for phones is horrendous so you canā€™t even use 4G. Ground floor rooms get loads of noise from outside and the window looked so flimsy I was a bit concerned for my safety. Plugs are in strange positions, had to sleep with my phone and watch charging in my bed as the plugs are half way up the wall at the foot of it. Thereā€™s air con but itā€™s inoperable except to turn up heat, doesnā€™t seem to be a way of cooling. There was no bin in the room which I found annoying. Just pay the extra Ā£10 and go somewhere half decent!

  • 2/5 Bethy B. 1 year ago on Google
Okay, so itā€™s cheap. Thatā€™s all I can say thatā€™s good. The water in the taps isnā€™t drinkable, so be prepared to bring your own water. The hotel smells of damp. There is one plug to charge, far away from the bed. The shower curtain is dirty. Honestly, give this a miss.

  • 3/5 Davinia B. 1 year ago on Google
Room is super basic. No chair/vanity to put your luggage, phone, etc. Door was ill fiting - rattled each time the hallway door was open. You need an extended USB to charge your phone & rest it on the floor at the same time. Bathroom pod is "tiered", in desperate need of a deep-clean & a repaint. Cockroach in room on arrival. Supper comfy bed! Not enough pillows. Good air con. Use this hotel for a functional visit rather than for pleasure!!

Myself and my brother travelled to London and booked a stay in the easy hotel Paddington. On arrival staff was very kind and accommodated us as we were a little early for check in. Upon entering the room we were confronted with a small room with a double bed, bathroom and tv. Bed linen was clean but stained and towels were provided. The bathroom is very small with a toilet, sink and shower. The bathroom overall wasnā€™t too clean. Neither of us used the shower: the bathroom could have been cleaned better. The room has climate control which can be changed to your own preference. The AC worked well and kept the room cool as the temperature outside was very warm. Overall, our stay was good but the condition of the room reflects the price.

I recently stayed here for two nights. The room was small but nice for the price, and was generally clean on arrival although the shower did have some marks and signs of wear. The location was great (about a 5 minute or less to paddington station) and staff were friendly and helpful. My primary issue with this hotel was that I didnā€™t have hot water to shower either morning of my stay. I spoke with staff on the first day, who looked into the issue and told me it would be fine for the next day, but I still didnā€™t have hot water. The hotel has hot water- I showered quickly the first evening I arrived, but had to take rushed, cold showers on both of the other days, which was unpleasant and relatively upsetting in January. I asked if there was someone I could speak to about the issue when I checked out, and I was given an email. I havenā€™t received a reply or resolution yet. Other than that, there werenā€™t any instructions on how to operate the heater, so I was freezing my first night since I came back to the hotel late and couldnā€™t figure out how to get it to work. While that was my error, I wish a small card was included as it would have made the night much more pleasant. Obviously this hotel is a budget option, but I couldā€™ve paid far less for a hostel and been more comfortable than I was here. Edit: I did get a response from their customer service, who were very apologetic, offered me a partial refund, and said that they would investigate the issue so that it wouldnā€™t impact future guests. While it did take a little bit of time for someone to get back to me, they were prompt in issuing the refund, and I had a good experience with their customer service team.
