Disappointed. Last came before covid. Rating at that time was 8/10. Now it is a terrible 0/10. Poor quality, lack of choice, extra for drinks, no choice in thai- which was star quality. Desserts- serving defrosted cakes and choc chip cookies and bounty halves- as dessert! Where are the macrons, cheesecakes, freshly baked cakes, chocolate fountain????? I never leave a review but this place has gone down the pan. Shame as it was a highlight in Ilford. Don't come here.

For £21 per adult, £11 per child, it's not too bad here. They a wide variety of dishes but I guess maybe I'm a bit of a picky eater, I still find it hard to find more than 5 I can actually eat. I find that most of their dishes are not well-seasoned. I still had to add a little salt to give it lift and I don't even like salty food. I've given a 3 star cause I think the kids liked the food especially the desert area including marsh mellows and chocolate fountain.

Nice place to go if you are looking for a variety of options ranging from Japanese, Indian, Chinese, Mexican to salads, deserts and a whole range of international options to choose from. Had me a mix of most and the food was good. Also had ice cream and the chocolate fountain was glorious. The staff were wonderful from the front desk to the waiters who were ready to help. Atmosphere was mid temp as the place wasn’t very busy (considering the time we were there). Will definitely come back again. And again.

Situated at the end of the parade where the Pioneer Market once stood, the resteraunt is accessed by a flight of stairs or escalators (not working), so if you have mobility issues not ideal for you. Once upstairs you enter and obtain your ticket and enter the large dining area, and the rest is up to you. The buffet is divided into different sections. Frankly the starter options were a little bit disappointing and most dishes could have been bought at the supermarket across the road, however the main courses were much better and encapsulated a number of Asian cuisines. The desert and sweet sections also had a number of delights to tempt all. If I am honest, those with dietary needs or suffer from acute allergies, I would call ahead of your visit to make sure that you are catered for and its safe. All in all I had a good eating experience with my colleagues, but there is room for improvement. Outdoor signage could be better, as I walked past twice. Also, internal signage could be better as finding the toilets was not easy. Thankfully, a member of staff pointed me in the right direction. To conclude I thought there was a lack of staff for such a large establishment and food replenishment at the buffet was too slow, and some of my colleagues had too wait a long time for some options to be restocked. With all these issues rectified, this resteraunt could be jewel in Ilford's crown.

Varieties of Oriental and continental dishes with varied deserts options. Live station of dumplings, lamb chops. Kids friendly, costs 22/person on weekdays. I would say it's expensive comparing to Jimmy's. Over all taste was good Nd average. Friendly staffs and bottomless drink additional £3.50. clean rest room. Room space was bit less. It was crowded. Pan Asian food available!

Please read to the end... Enjoyed the lamb chops but miss the creme brulee. Looks like they took it off the desert list. Thai crab was tasty but maybe they should crack the shell to make it easier. On the whole it was good. I think weekdays are better as it's not too crowded. That review was three years ago..so tonight's a big disappointment ...fish fingers, jaffa cakes, choc chip cookies and fish fingers added to the menu. Price increase but so many items removed from the menu, only to be replaced by poor cheaper options. Also too many empty serving dishes. Definitely my last visit here. Pity they used to be so good ...check the photos from 2017 to what was uploaded today.

Would I go there again? No never. May be if I am left with no choice I only come here when I feel like a variety of food and everyone wants different options and we can’t think of a place and then we regret this place more than anything. No don’t go there! They need to improve I have been the first customer ever since they opened few years ago! It used to be really good at the beginning but over the years gone worse and worse yet I still ended up going there and now finally stopped completely. Long question, not very clean anymore, good think is unlimited drinks and loads of halal options. They even do tea and coffee free of charge. But don’t get fooled try and avoid. Meat station is okay. Free meal for birthday person used to be good if you have an ID. Not sure if they still do it.

Went here for my birthday, and when it's your birthday you go free with another paying adult. The food here isn't going to amaze you but for the price you get an amazing variety of food. Would definitely recommend it for the price and variety!

We had a lovely birthday meal today after missing it for 3 solid years! Everyone we met was so friendly, the lady at the welcome desk, the gentleman who led us to the table, and the staff who tidied the plates. There's a variety of food and you could ask for prawns and lamb at the cooking station. All in all, we will go again.

The buffet is really good I can rate it 9/10 . I had just one bad experience with a Chinese staff who was rude. But apart from that, the services and dishes are great. The menu is so rich with different assorted food , drinks and snacks. Please check me out on YouTube and follow my channel ( CLIVERTO )

The world food buffet restaurant is a culinary gem offering a delightful array of Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Indian, and grill dishes, complemented by a tempting sweet corner and more. With vibrant flavours, attentive service, and a diverse selection of international cuisines, this restaurant is a must-visit for food enthusiasts seeking a global dining

I had a bad dinner experience there yesterday at Ilford branch. I will not return again. Food availability was sparse and the quality was below average. Some food were cold and tired looking. Truly overpriced for the amount of food I could consume there. Would've been better money spent elsewhere. Disappointing!!

We visited for a 12th birthday meal on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t that busy. The selection and range of food was outstanding! My personal favourites were the lamb, chicken tikka masala, ribs, tender stem broccoli. It took way too long to refill some of the more popular items and for a big group this was annoying. We were a table of around 20-25 people so we were plonked at the back of the restaurant. The majority of tables wobble which is not nice while eating and I couldn’t be asked to wedge the base. The refillable drinks were a nice touch but I feel that the price should be lower for children. Strawberry Mojito was fantastic! The happy birthday song that is played is extremely dry. There should be the standard classic version and for people who want a bit of bounce, play the Stevie version! Toilets were ok but there is definitely a drain issue which doesn’t smell pleasant. Overall 7/10

We've visited JRC Global Buffer on a variety of occasions. The range of food is vast, many different cuisines from around the world. If you book for when the restaurant opens you will find the food is well prepared and fresh, it does seem a little slow in replenishing items that have finished or are finishing. The dessert selection looks appealing but the quality is less so. The Tepanyaki station is disappointing, the glaze/sauce they use whilst cooking the items is extremely bitter and spoils the overall taste. Definitely a place worth trying but not somewhere you would rush back to frequently. It can also become extremely busy, which doesn't make for a comfortable dining experience.

This place is De Bomb 💣 💣💣it’s Lit 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Try out different flavours and delicacies from different parts of the world hence the Global meaning in the name. The atmosphere is what you make it it’s a great place for birthday parties and anniversaries and other types of celebrations or even just dining for two, three or four. Just get up and help yourself as many times as you can do in an hour and fifteen minutes. Well worth the price after your main there’s a tasty selection of delicious desserts and there’s alcohol and soft drinks galore. I rate this place 10/10 sometimes there’s a Que to get in but that’s to be expected because the place is popular and busy, the staff are friendly and helpful the place is clean and hygienic the toilets are kept clean to a high standard. I recommend this place to all those near to this location check out their website find the one that’s nearest to you take some friends and family and go enjoy yourselves have fun eat well and No washing up afterwards. If Ilford is your nearest location there’s a multi story car park next to the cinema which is literally across the road from the restaurant. You never know you might see me there filling up my belly. Loved it ❤️👍🏽❤️👍🏽❤️👍🏽❤️👍🏽❤️👍🏽

Good place. Lots of different cuisines. They also had a meat section which they would cook beef steaks and much more. They had a wide variety of drinks and the food was amazing. They would always come every 10-15 mins to pick up finished plates.

£26.50 for buffet and an extra £3.80 for drinks. Not worth the value considering there are a variety of places in ilford you can spend £30 on for better quality of food. The buffet is Halal (almost) but the food quality disappointed me. The Chinese black bean beef is chewy and the Indian food looked stale I didn’t even touch it. Pizza looked like frozen Iceland pizza rushed out. Tasted like it too. I stuck to the kiddie side (mostly fried food). Was a safer bet. Did visit this place a few years back and I seem to recall the food not being this bad! North worth the hype or price. If you’re looking for quality food then avoid this place. If you’re inclined to spend your hard earned £30 on tacky tasteless garbage then you’ll have a whale of a time.

There are so many choices. However, I was incredibly sick after eating here. The seating is huge like a school canteen and you have to pay before you enter. Technically, it should be an okay place to eat. However, I am sure that I had food poisoning from here, so I won't be visiting again

I’ve been to JRC in Ilford a few times - the food is ok. The desert area however was quite deserted and lacked a variety but for the money it’s fine. I’ve been to worse buffets so I recommend it.

Not a place i will visit again £30 for a buffet with average food nothing special at all Ice machine broken Lift broken Some items not available Food was bland everything seem to taste the same 3 good things are the prawns fried live are nice and they included unlimited drinks for £3. Also chocolate fountain with halal mushrooms to end a tasteless buffet is the best of thing of the full buffet For the price you pay you expect a bit better quality

This was such a cool place to eat..was spoilt for choice with all the different Asian food, plus sea food, steaks, pizza..only thing i could complain is if your elderly or disabled you will have a job serving yourself..there is no trolly to wheel along..There is a lift for wheelchair access here. I will definitely go back some day.

Buffet restaurant with a wide variety of dishes, you'll be spoilt for choice. They also had salmon but they don't replenish salmon as often as the other foods.

So disappointed, really should have asked for a refund, I came in hungry and left hungry the food was that bad! I had a couple people telling me they had nice food (before they moved their branch) so I wanted to try this place. I paid over £50 for 2 of us and it was disgusting!! All the food was stone cold, nothing had any flavour to it, the only good part was the chicken wings they were quite nice! I regret leaving without saying anything however the guy that served us was nowhere to be seen anymore and I felt embarrassed to say anything! One worker was already in a big argument as we was leaving our seats. Really feel foolish for not getting my money back, total waste of time not even the deserts have any flavour! Will never come back lesson learnt!

This was an extremely underwhelming experience. The food itself was sub par at best, coupled with the long wait time for the food to be replenished once empty simply led to a poor dining experience. Along with this, staff were slow to clear plates, even when they were aware that the plates were no longer being eaten from. Some members of staff stood there idly, rather than clearing the plates.
