one of the most significant art centres in London. the location is amazing and in the heart of London. I had a chance to experience the London philharmonic orchestra this week and the hall was stunning

A beautiful space full of creativity and inspiration. Loads of great spaces to hang out, eat, drink, spend time with friends and think. I highly recommend the membership, which provides use of the wonderful members terrace on the top floor!

King's College organises there every year the graduation ceremony. Really huge place with accesses to the theatre over several floors ( depending your seating). Number of lifts rather limited so don't come to late or you'll have to queue to get on-board! Seats are quite comfy. On the 5th floor a big terrace provides a magnificent view over the City.

Went for a graduation ceremony. Good disabled access/limited parking. Lighting levels were too low so pictures were not good, organisation could have been better. Good family attendance.

Tons of great food options at Southbank Centre. Literally the best food I had the entire time I was in England. Great eats at Southbank Centre: Pad Sen (order the special) Curry On (chicken Korma over chips) Brownies and Tea (salted caramel was sinful) I can imagine myself here 100% if I'm back in England again.

Have visited over the years with my children and the Southbank Centre never misses! Always activities and events on for kids, many free. Accessible. Great facilities. We loved the coral reef event on today. Can’t wait to visit again!

Really love the Embankment. Great views and lovely places to eat. We went to watch new years fireworks. They didn't dissapoint, bit of a nightmare trying to get to fireworks and getting back, but glad we did it.

We visited the Southbank centre during half term and took part in the Imagine festival for children. It was a fun-filled creative day with lots of play too. We followed the trail provided at the welcome desk and got to explore many of the rooms and spaces too. Plenty of baby changing facilities, seating places to enjoy your lunch either bought from the centre or from elsewhere. Lifts for easy access getting to the different floors and rooms were manned for people to provide assistance when needed.

I proposed to my boyfriend at this beautiful venue after a London Philharmonic Orchestra's concert. Big thanks to Kelly and the duty manager Martin. They helped me store my bouquet in their office, keeping it safe until my proposal. This beautiful place made my dream come true. I highly recommend this LGBTQ+ friendly culture center!

Lovely centre where you can take a little rest after a nice walk on the south bank! Coffee shop/ bar where you can get light refreshment and a baked good! Little area where children were playing and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Maybe not enough chairs for how busy it is this time of year. Tidiness needs to improve as there was a number of cups and rubbish on tables. Staff were polite and friendly providing information of the city and location to local landmarks

The Hayward Gallery is always fabulous. It always offers cutting-edge shows, which benefit from the architecture, and has a great shop. On this visit I saw 'When Forms Come to Alive', which was spectacular! This is a really engaging and beautiful sculpture exhibition, with each room - and piece - offering more tactile, moving, shining, throbbing, floating and shadowed opportunities to engage with art in different ways. Certainly the best exhibition I have seen in London this year.

Replay: a limitless recycled playground: My toddlers had tons of fun, playing with all the ofd things they love the most, plus lots of colours and fantastic background music which the adults enjoy too! Only downside was it was a tiny bit too warm inside, but apart from that thank you, it was awesome 🙏

Went to watch Christmas Classics at Royal Festival Hall. The London philharmonic orchestra, philharmonic choir and London Youth Choir. It was brilliant. I will add this to my pre Christmas festivities every year now. It really sets you up for getting into the Christmas mood.

Great days out. I attend regularly for shows and performances and. It's always enjoyed. Staff are helpful and have always been lovely. Prices a little overpriced, but this could just be seen as "London prices"

Southbank Centre is a wonderful place. Culture, food, music, art. I teach here 2/3 times a week and this is always an amazing experience. Wheelchair friendly! Several lifts and bathrooms (with easy access).

This is the greatest example of brutalist architecture in Britain and possibly in the world. Even if it is not your favoured style you cannot help but be impressed. Do go inside the royal festival hall and don’t miss the skateboarding area under the theatre with its vibrant street art.

The building itself is cool and at the moment there are a lot of fun chairs at the front of the space. The stairs up from waterloo are colourful and fun too! The inside of the building has an auditorium and lots of open space for a coffee or to do some work. There are often markets, great shows and much more in the building and area. The outside seating is great snd it’s tight by the river which is always a treat.

Really nice venue, big and spacious so not horribly packed in. Well managed and run by the staff. A beautiful area also. Easy route from Waterloo Station a 10 minute walk with all the weird and wonderful sights and experiences of London along the way Would love to go again

A good place to visit. Today we took a leisurely walk into the Koestler art gallery and viewed alternative artwork. The skills and experience on show is made by prisoners and other institutions in and a the country. The items on show showed great ideas and skills and we were both impressed at the displays

I just love walking down the Southbank on a sunny day! Go on a Friday or over the weekend when the food market is open. Grab yourself something to eat from one of the amazing food stalls, and then take a walk towards the London Eye or towards the Tate modern ( free to enter). Stop and watch the street entertainment ( take some change to drop in their collection.) Some of them are really good. You can also take your photo with Charlie Chaplin! I hopped on a boat and took a ride down the river to Greenwich.....but that's for another review!

You will always find some animations or kids activities. Have a beer at the Founders Arms and stroll along the south bank… till you hit the Tate Modern or Borough Market

Entertainment in London starts here for me. There is always something happening here. Whether it is classical, folk or jazz, it can be found here throughout the year. In November it is one of the venues for London Jazz Month. During the summer there is always free music at hand. In front of the venue is the Thames River. There are many places to eat nearby, including an international food pop up stands on the weekend. The London Eye is only 100 metres away. There is a small skateboard park, and the occasional pop up book fairs. One of the closest tube stations is Westminster, or Waterloo. On a summer night visit the Centre and then walk along the South Bank. Lovely. Tickets to the the shows are very reasonable.

For an amazing family day out, Southbank Centre takes the crown. Free events are top-notch, and the paid performances are simply outstanding. Plenty of cosy corners for relaxation and play dates, plus a café and shop that hit the mark. A London gem for sure!

Great venue for hosting shows and other similar events, right at the heart of London central , a 2-3 minutes walk from London Waterloo East station. Spacious halls and centres, not everything is in one space however, different buildings host different spaces. I am now planning to host my show there this year.

Great summer spot by the bank with a huge variety of things to do, see and eat. Street food galore, street shows along with renouned national institutions (Theatre, Gallery, Museum, Queen Elizabeth Hall etc...) This is must-do when visiting London. Locals hang out there as well

Some great exhibitions (I've posted pics for Bridget Riley), a real sense of space, giving plenty of room to appreciate the art. The architecture is impressive too - walking around and enjoying the building itself is worthwhile!
