It's a nice place to sit and relax, read a book, meet up with friends, have something to eat or just watch the world go by. There are numerous benches to choose from to. My main reason to come here was to see the memorial for street cat called Bob, a cat I would have loved to meet and it's beautiful. It's an amazing memorial for a great cat.

Lovely oasis patch of greenery to cool off in, in a busy area. Bob the Streetcat's memorial statue is situated here. You may even see Bandit and Chewbie visiting, with James Bowen in attendance!

Bisschen unheimlich, man ist halt nicht mehr im touristischen Teil von London. Aber dort steht die Statue von Bob. ❤️

Tiny bit of greenery in the middle of bustling angel (Islington). Great for a quick bite, a quick rest, a little stroll.

Lovely place to chill out amongst the hustle & bustle of the high street. Has some decent little bistros/cafés in the back streets along the high street. Also antique shops and stalls.

Nice green island between busy roads. Lots of benches and lawn area. There's a drinking water refill station here by the toilet. Brilliant!

An interesting fact about this place is that it wa actually used as a plague pit back in the 17th century. You cant see it anymore obviously though, now its a fun park to hang out. Dont worry though,if you want to see a plague pit the Tesco is right next door. They id'd me for a bottle of lucozade. Like mate. What? Strongly bubonic establishment. Love the park though and im a fan of the waterstones too

Went to Islington to see the memorial of street cat Bob that l have wanted to do with friends, because of the true story of James and Bob that moved me so much. Lovely memorial of Bob the cat and so pleased that James is doing well even though he lost Bob. There was also other memorials to look at and was lovely to sit and rest and contemplate.

After hearing that there are a lot of rats here, my daughter wanted to go as she'd never seen a real life rat before in her entire life so we went on a Sunday evening, we stood at the gates which were locked and within 1 minute of being there we saw 2 rats running across the path! We hung around for a bit and in the quiet night could hear them 'squeaking' which my daughter found amusing! They seemed to like the little coffee hut thats by the gates as they were all hanging around there. We then saw one making its way to the pavement so we walked round to get a better look and saw 3 more near that one, my daughter even got some photos on her phone, she was so happy! 😂

We went out for dinner and we had a lovely time watching people walking by and enjoyed our food in Bellanger.

A small green place right in the middle of Islington / Angel traffic. Good for a short breather. Nothing to get excited about
