Filthiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve stayed in hundreds over the years. The bedding hadn’t been changed from previous guests and not only smelled bad but had yellow and red stains on it. There were bed bugs crawling round and bed bug traps/powder under the bed. The only toiletries provided was a small half bottle of shower gel I presume the previous occupant left. Rug in bathroom filthy. Dust and grime everywhere. Walls also filthy and stained with all manner of bodily articles. The room was high up yet the bathroom sash window was able to open fully to the big drop below. We actually managed to get a friend to bring us fresh sheets to change the bedding, revealing stains I’ll never forget on the duvets/pillows. Braved it for one night but after being bitten in several places, we decided to check out a day early in favour of somewhere much cleaner. Receptionist seemed concerned when confronted and acted surprised about the bedbugs (despite ours and my mothers room having the bed bug powder under the beds). Said he’d request a refund for us but two days later, still nothing.

I’ve come to London several several times and stayed in so many different hotels from extremely expensive to budget friendly. Coming to OYO marble arch price wise it was very affordable and we were very shocked with how affordable it is as location wise is amazing. Hygiene wise was absolutely horrible. There were bed bugs absolutely everywhere. My family and I on our first night felt very itchy and we purchased very effective bug spray and left the room shut for a few hours for the bug spray to take effect. We even bought new bed sheets from primark for all the beds. That did absolutely nothing, we were bitten from head to toe with bites absolutely everywhere. It took a few weeks and a few visits to the doctors for us to get completely rid of the infections we had gotten from this hotel. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO TO THIS HOTEL! ABSOLUTELY FILTHY AND DISGUSTING. HYGIEN IS NOT THEIR TOP PRIORITY, you’re likely sleeping on an infestation of bed bugs! This hotel should seriously be shut down!!

The whole experience was one of the worst I've ever encountered. Check in was not smooth or efficient. I arrived at 2.30pm (being told check in was available from 2pm) and the room was not ready. I have reason to believe one of the staff had been sleeping in the room and quickly tried to turn it around. The room was disgusting - dirty with stained sheets and an awful smell. Then as I was inspecting the room someone knocked and rather than wait for me to open they used a key they had and let themselves in to the room to pick up a chair. When I left to visit my office and return to the hotel access to my room was blocked by a pushchair. Then the smell of cigarette smoke was so strong because the room next to mine was also staff living quarters. Overall one of the worst nights sleep I've ever had and I wouldn't recommend this accommodation to anybody!

Great location that's about it. Rooms are very dated. Double bed pushed up against the wall. TV with no remote. Frosted window, curtain didn't open. No heating. Low quality bedding. Bathroom dated, no heat from towel rail. Leaking toilet. Shower worked well.

Great location, and that's about it. Room not very clean, dust absolutely everywhere, shower full of hair, smell of cigarettes not only in the room but corridor as well. I would avoid it if you can. Luckily I only stayed one night. Very noisy too, just people banging doors.

Sayed in this hotel for week in July. I would not recommend it. Pros : Strategically located in London and prices are a bit lower than other hotels around the area. Cons: It is not clean as it should be. The rooms, showers, and toilettes are very tiny. Furniture is very old including the bed and desk. The Internet is weak and keeps disconnecting. It is very noisy you can easily hear voices through the walls and cars outside which is annoying, and it might get a little troublesome to sleep at night.

Good location. That’s it. The rooms are dated and dirty. I stayed in room no 7. The beds are full of bedbugs. Not recommended at all. Big no no to this place. Find another place if visiting London.

THE GOOD Probably the best double rooms you can get for £55 a night with private bathroom in central London. Location is excellent, the bed is comfortable, staff friendly and price is excellent for what is offered. We got the room in the top floor which was quiet at night and we had a good night sleep. You have a kettle with tea in the room and a hair drier. I will surely return but it would be nice if the negative sides of the coin are addressed. THE BAD · The room seems been refurbished or maintained by a bad DIY amateur. The bathroom floor is coming out. There are bits and pieces of the bath panel coming out. TV attached to the stand with cable ties, etc. The universal remote control of the TV works only to switch it on so you are constraint to see only one channel at a certain volume. Wifi signal was null or very poor in our room in the top floor. We managed to get some signal only by the door but basically we could not use it. The liquid soap in the shower was diluted with water. I wonder how much a 0.5p "savings" can influence on having low rates. As per other reviews we had also our little cockroach in the bathroom when we got there at the late nigh. We are not sure if the little visitor came from the window or behind the bath panels. The towels smelled bad. It seems to me they have been stored with some humidity on it and they smelled accordingly. The sheets were nice and clean but with old stains on them.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Checked in late, was handed a key and waved to the basement down a darkened stairwell to find our room. Took awhile to find our room behind an unmarked door between storage rooms. Once we found the room, we discovered the hole drilled into the wall right through to the storage room next door, old mismatched, threadbare sheets and towels fit for rags. Comforters that hadn’t been washed in ages and flat pillows. The real fun was the shower in the corner of the carpeted room with a complete ecosystem of mildew and insects! The shared bathroom had a toilet seat which was cracked in half, lack of hand towels, and a similar lush ecosystem in that shower as well. Bugs love this place! We did not remove our shoes and could not get out of there quick enough! We were not able to get a refund and are out the cost of a night but made it out itchy, but bug free!

we only stayed 1 out of 2 nights as we couldn’t bare it any longer. the sheets were clearly not cleaned as both beds were covered in both long and short hairs. there was a horrible smell throughout the hotel, the sealing looked like it was about to cave in, the room was filled with damp and stained walls, the shower curtain has brown/yellow stains all over it. we were afraid to sleep in the beds so slept on top of the covers and used our jackets as pillows, would never even consider staying here again.

Stayed for one night on a work trip. Had read other reviews mentioning a cockroach in the shower. I found the funny side when I discovered a little cockroach family. This family was quickly dispatched, and to be fair the room (10) was totally fine. Check in at 8pm was a little odd as the door was locked and the office shuttered. A very grumpy man eventually showed up and eventually gave me a key. Review would have been 5 stars as hotel was cleaning functional but wone up covered in bed bug bites.

Hotel was fine for a night, Oyo is not! The price was advertised at £63, o entered my card details and the the confirmation page showed a charge of £72 had be taken. They claim this was a third party charge added to all bookings. It’s impossible to speak to anyone, proceed with caution!

Very bad opinion about this hotel. I made a wrong reservation but I wanted to cancel or to change to a double room and they didn't accept. Please be careful when you do reservation because they will take you're money and they will not give nothing back. Shame on you!!!!!

Horror show with OYO customer service on the phone however the man at reception did seem nice. Ridiculous to have to call OYO for customer service booking help rather than the man standing Infront of me at reception who said I have to contact OYO directly??? Crazy.

This place was beyond disgusting, all I can advise is for people to avoid this place like the plague. Though the plague was probably cleaner. The room was the most disgusting room I have ever had the misfortune of staying in. It was absolutely vile. Dirty, soiled bedding (and we actually had to buy new bedding) the worlds thinnest and most uncomfortable mattress and a thick layer of grime and dust everywhere. Our bedding had not been changed it was stained and full of hair. The glasses had cracks in them and THERE WAS BEDBUGS. Reception tried to pretend like they didn’t know about the bed bugs however there were bed bug traps beneath the bed so clearly they new the dirt and squalor they’re enforcing upon people. Absolutely disgusting, only managed one out of two nights booked. The staff are clueless and clearly aren’t bothered by the disgusting standard of the hotel. Also not sure if the windows are to a legal standard as they open fully and it’s a very long drop. Please do yourselves a favour and do not book here.

As a basic stopover, it was ok, however my room had almost no hot water in the shower and water pressure for the cold was too low.

All I can say about this hotel is that it is in excellent Location other than this is a total disaster. It does not exist any hygiene. Everything smells like humidty. Tv remotes dont work. Reception barely find someone except the one guy in the evening. Bathrooms barely never been washed with broken floor tiles. Bedroom is sleeping on the wood the mattresses full of bugs room full of cockroaches and in our room which was room 12 we even had a mouse running trough us.

Great location. The room was shabby and a bit dirty: sheets were stained and bathroom unclean. However we were somewhat satisfied because price was so cheap. If you want to save money and compromise on comfort - stay here.

Very impressed! I had to drive 200+ miles to get a client to a meeting in central London for 9am. I had to collect the client at about 6pm and drive the 200+ miles back. The 10am check in time was perfect and at the price I paid it made a brilliant base for me to get a few hours sleep and fuel the car up etc, ready for the journey back. The only thing I think could be improved was the room cleaning. The tea making facilities particularly. Small thing when you consider that it cost almost the same to park on the street outside the hotel as I paid for the room for 24 hours! I found the little desk handy for doing a bit of paperwork and the room although basic, had everything I could need.

Bed was thin mattress with metal springs which was battered , stained and worn out. Dirt furniture and floors. Television did not even work as it was not tuned in. Turned shower on which was a tiny trickle of cold water and no hot at all. Brushed my teeth and ran out. Horrible.

Scam, to be avoided! 0/5 Their reservation management with Covid is disastrous and unpleasant. No one to answer emails or messages.

We booked this hotel through Booking .Com. When we got to the checkin desk there was A very distressed woman who had been there for a long period of time arguing with the Reception person about her reservation which apparently they did mot have. I produced my reservation which I had printed off. I was also told that he did not have my reservation although he was holding it. Conversations became heated As there was a bunch of keys on the desk, I Demanded he give me a room. We were given the top floor with no lift available. WE had been travelling for well over 5hours. lugging up 2 heavy suitcases up 5 flights with NO HELP for an 80 yr old is heart attack stuff. The room had 3 double beds in it so moving around was exhausting. The TV did not work, nor did the telephone. The beds were akin to a mattress on springs. The room next door to us had to be vacated due to BED BUGS!!!. Returning after dark was a dangerous experience as although there were switches on every floor. NOT ONE LIGHT WORKED. This hotel should be shut down The only bonus was its location, ie within a 10 minute walk to Marble Arch Underground. I have travelled the world working for a major airline for over 30 years. This hotel is the WORST I have stayed in.

For the price it was perfectly OK. Other feedback of a bit grubby, weak showers etc are all valid and weirdly there were tea bags but no coffee, milk or sugar. It is noisy, but that's central London so not fair to criticise too harshly for that. Location is super handy and for somewhere to get some sleep and be in a convenient location for the morning it does the job. I wouldn't take the wife and kids there, but it definitely fills a need and I would use again.

Booked a room for two friends and myself for two nights. Staff on the front desk were lovely however we were told we needed to pay an additional £8 after booking online. Room was on the very top floor, bathroom was two floors down. Room was very cramped for three people, two single beds and one double bed. To get into the room you practically had to climb over the bed by the door. The beds themselves were made but had hairs and stains on the sheets and pillows. Surfaces were dirty and we brought our own cleaning supplies in anticipation of this. Drawers had crumbs inside of them so were unusable. Nowhere to keep food or drink stored safely. We came in at around 12:30 AM after a dinner and the stairwell was practically pitch black. Bathrooms were tiny and no showers in the communal bathroom we went to. To top it all off, we found a used needle in the bathroom itself. Laundry room was advertised on a poster in the room but when we went to wash sheets that we had gotten dirty we could not find it.

Good location near Marble Arch station and Oxford street. fairly clean but very uncomfortable bed. They are friendly and they give extra duvet (to sleep on) when I requested. Also, no left but they helped taking the luggage up. I don’t think it’s for me but good if you want something central with affordable price.

Will not be staying here again. Woken up by someone hoovering outside my door at 2 am. The shower inside the room is a makeshift shower, there is no real bathroom inside the room. Constantly smelt like gas, even after alerting the reception team, they said they couldn't smell anything and ignored it. Duvets and towels were being dried on the heaters in the hallways, which made me question the cleanliness of the towels and duvets I was using. Did not feel like a hotel, it felt like someones run-down house. The toilet is a shared toilet (no toilet in the room) and was run down. Overall a bad experience. I'd advise paying a little bit more and staying in another hotel.
