Absolutely awful experience on New Year's eve. Food was due to arrive at 8 15. Called at 9 15. No apology, was told to wait 25 more minutes. Called 35 minutes later, he said 'just wait another 5,10, or 15 minutes, something like that.' They then kept ignoring my calls and had the cheek to change the status to delivered!! Spent ages on Just Eat chat (by this time 10 30) to be told they can't give refund as they had lied and said delivered, so needed to be taken further. Imagine our surprise when they had the cheek to try to deliver at 10 last 11!! They told Just Eat that they won't provide a refund for a late delivery, even though we never accepted it when it finally arrived. Ruined our evening and would never go back. Look at Just Eat. Terrible reviews on there too

Very random , asked for a coke and got a glass bottle with a straw in it ?! One really shouty waiter who banged all of the dishes down and stormed about. All quite amusing to be honest! Food was average, wouldn't revisit

These guys don't pay no attention to the online orders after writing notes next to my order. My whole order was wrong and another thing, I specifically asked for this to arrive at a certain time which I was given the option too, it came 30min before which the doorbell disturbed my child sleeping. Not happy at all. On tasting the food, its very bland, horrible and tasteless. Avoid this restaurant at all cost

Mother India is our favourite local Indian restaurant! We try others and end up going back here because the food is so fresh and tasty and the staff friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. Hayley and Dave

We have ordered take away Three times from this establishment. Each time the order was wrong. First time we got a Masala instead of a Madras. Second time we got someone else's dishes on top of ours, but this last time it was missing one if the three main courses. We rang up and they said they would send one straight away. 30 mins later nothing, so we cancelled and asked for a refund. They said they would send it round the next day, yet it is still to materialise. When we got the food in the first instance, both the rice and mains were cold so we had to microwave them.

We came on tuesday night to have a meal and see sal .there was 6 of us .we ordered our starter and maun course which was fine but my friend and i couldnt eat it all and asked the waiter if we could take it home .another waiter came and taken the trolley and and that was the last we saw of it we had left a whole fillet of salmon mine was with rice and hers was with salad .we paid for our meal and was enjoy sal and his music then as we were due to leave the waiter came and said we hadnt paid enough we asked for a itemised bill .we all put in the money some on card and some cash and he again said we hadnt paid enough .never again we will go back its disgusting and definetly impressed by the waiters rudeness

We've been using Mother India for quite a while now. We are always very impressed with the food. There are various options available. If you order online, they are currently giving you 20% off your food bill, which is nice touch. Mother India do offer a free delivery service on orders over £10 within a 4 mile radius. Very happy customer as usual!

Ordered food at 1925 was suppose to arrive at 20:20 said it was out for delivery 1 hour later and the food still not here, called restaurant they told me wait another ten minuets finally the Food arrived cold at 21:30 terrible service

Rude staff. Took dirty cutlery off plates and put back on table to use for main. Asked for clean and he snatched out of my hand. Used to be nice now empty and no deliveries even leaving. Won't be returning again. Also piled all plates up on top of my phone somehow. Reluctant to give us sauce which came with meal.

hands down, one of the best indian restaurants around essex, associated with skilled staff and the food is just quality. In addition, the interior design is spot on it feels very cozy which makes the vibes great!! would highly recommend (P.S very family friendly) keep it up guys!!👌🏽👌🏽

Filthy little rat hole, they tried to con us and charge us double on some dishes. This is a dump full of filthy scummy council estate chavs. It's and indian restaurant ran by Bangladeshi people. I do not recommend this dump to anyone.

Terrible place, do not order from here! Was due to arrive at 19:20, did not arrive until 20:25. Called the restaurant multiple times and said three times it’s on its way. Missing dishes. Ordered a vegetable Naga and chicken curry arrived and one of our family members is vegan so had no dinner! Then to top is all off the delivery driver crashed into our neighbours car. No apology from the restaurant. Shocking customer service.

Imran is the heart of this restaurant ! He instantly made me appreciated of my trip because of his warmth and hilarious energy ! Plus the food is delicious ! I’ll always stop here when I’m in London ! Thank you Imran ! I’m a huge fan !

Walked in to try - staff came over and showed us to a table, not very welcoming to be honest. Ordered the Chicken Tikka Korai, some rice Sag Aloo and some bread and onion bhaji's- the Curry was very oily and salty and really tasted bland with no favour - Again staff just not really engaging. Would not go back if you want authentic decent curry. Obv i only had one dish.. Rice & Bread was done well. Poppadum's didn't taste fresh.
