Fantastic space to jog, walk, or sit and do nothing. The park is flat and in the middle is a beautiful lake. Have only walked around the lake, so I'm not too sure what is beyond. There is also a nice restaurant near the entrance with toilet facilities and for what I've seen, the food doesn't look too bad. Went there yesterday (Sunday) and was very busy. They had to use the overflow car park, but there was still plenty of space. Not too sure for how long but there is this very large wipe out assault course in the water you can attempt but if you want something more leisurely, you can hire these 4-person push peddle carts to ride around the park or hire out peddelows. There are two play areas, one for the smaller and next to that is a large climbing frame for the older kids with rock climbing a bit further long the path. The Ringo parking app is used here.

Update, still the same, driving schools driving around and around our cars which we have paid to park. Today, three driving schools when i arrived. Update....Why are driving schools still being allowed to teach learners in Fairlop Waters car parks driving around our cars? πŸ™„ Seems like lots of driving schools think it is acceptable to do their lessons on private car parks. Today yet another πŸ˜– Note on bottom of sign, parking at own risk. Learner driver hits your car.....too bad! I've paid my parking. Have you?

We are just so very lucky to have this beautiful place right on top of us and sometimes we forget how gorgeous it really is here. There are lots of natural routes to take for amazing wildlife. There is also the lake where you can do water sports. There is so much to do for kids with a play house and there are places to eat and drink and even enjoy and alcoholic beverage. They also have a wedding venue and at certain times of the year a fun fair. It is worth taking a stroll and seeing what you come across and also lovely for a dog walk.

Fairlop waters is a beautiful local park. I discovered the hidden beauty during the lockdown. If you walk around you can find the beautiful views of the lakes. You can see varieties of birds. If you are in Ilford why not try a evening walk. I’m sure you will love it.

Brilliant area for adults and kids. Nice lake and they have loads of parking facilities including disable bays. Visited while there was a fun fair there. Kids loved it. Not huge but just the right size to go on all the rides. Also have owls play centre and lake view marquee for a function. You can sit and enjoy the views or even have a picnic. Overall great local day out with the family.

Beautiful lake...a great place take family on a summer afternoon. Fairlop is a district in the London Borough of Redbridge, in east London, west of Barkingside and Fullwell Cross, north of Aldborough Hatch, south of Hainault and (distantly) west from Marks Gate and Collier Row. It mainly consists of fields, forestry and open land providing space for sport/ activity centres (Redbridge Sport Centre), a few houses, farmland and watersport/fishing lakes.

It was nice park. I went there to do birdwatching. There are several trails for hiking. There is a water sport for kids. A nice cafe. Restrooms. Lush greenery. What else is needed in a park. Easily accessible as well.

Well maintained and lovely day outing for family. The water park is amazing fun in summer. There are a lot of magical spots around the lake to sit down and read a book and relax. Plus its choke full of activities for children. Has something for everyone in family.

Fairlop offers a lot of activities for families around the lake area, however for hiking is not ideal. The country park part is quite unkept with litters and a lot of still brown waters

This is an excellent choice for families as there is so much to do. From sailing and rowing clubs in the large lake, to a rock climbing challenge or an outdoor activity centre, Fairlop has a lot of attractions. If you arrive by tube to Fairlop station (zone 4) you may get confused by the signage for Fairlop Waters as signposts point both ways. Take a left and walk down the narrow pathway by the side of a busy road until you see a pedestrian crossing. Cross that crossing and you will see an archway that leads to a wider path which will take you to Fairlop Waters. This is much safer than trying to walk down the tiny footpath. If you are driving, there is ample space for parking which is payable by mobile. The area is free to enter but all activities are charged. If you are into keeping fit, there's a path around the lake for jogging. Be aware that there will be many geese along your path.

Lovely park to take a walk, explore for children and adults. You can hire a boat on the lake or hire a tricycle to explore the park. Can feed the ducks or if you're feeling adventurous, try out the water inflatables.

It's a lovely day out just to relax, or if you fancy something more energetic, take your bike for a cycle, check out the climbing rocks or the Ninja Aqua park - all on site!

Went to Fairlop waters. Today we went to ride a boat. This was a six seater boat. Manual rowing. Including in the price was the boat the ores and the lifejackets. This boat for one hour cost us Β£25. The scenery is what absolutely beautiful. They have many types of ducks which fly also and they have terrapins and lots of type of fish in the waters We did not go on the water activity. Which is new I don’t have any pictures but if I do I will upload them later on Many people in the borough have not ever been to Fairlop waters and I would recommend they go as it is something that the community need to use so the council will keep it running for the community We need more people to use the park the walkways the restaurant the ice cream van is generally we need more people to be there
