Highly recommend, went as first timers. Was really fun, water felt very clean and not cold once you get moving. Great instructions and good equipment provided. Showers are outdoors and open. Would love to return, felt a bit achey after, a proper workout!

Fantastic family day out! We went as a group of 6, ( the toddler wasn't included in the wake boarding) aged from 21Months to 63 years old and a few in between and absolutely everyone had a cracking day. The instructors were very friendly and helpful with their coaching, we were all novices at the start of the day... but a few of us managed some simple tricks. Didn't want the session to end! Great bar to relax in and have some snacks. Perfect family day out! Customer service out of this world. Take flip-flops to walk across in if you're booking for the blue line.

Just had an awesome Sunday paddle boarding with my brother as a gift to my birthday 🎂 . The lovely lady tough us how to feel balanced and safe,confident on the board 😀 . My brother fell in the water and the instructor quickly tough us how to get back on the board . Then I fell in and managed to get back on the board first try very quickly. We all had fun and the weather was so nice the water was 24 °c .

Did the BSUPA licence under the tutelage of Mike on my own (first use) paddle-board. The course was fantastic, and we got a cool tour of the docks as well. The information we got was very useful. Mike was a great teacher + was very kind to help me with setting up my paddleboard.

We did the 2h paddle boarding course (BSUPA ready2ride) course at Wakeup yesterday. It was an absolutely fantastic experience! Dave was a great teacher. He made us feel at ease, shared a tone of tips and tricks from paddling technique to water safety and emergency rescue. Really feel I'm ready to paddle anywhere now. Can't wait to come here again soon.

Such an awesome place! I went for my surprise hen party, the instructors are brilliant, offering quality 1-1 tuition so you really can start to progress in one session! I’ve been boarding before, but at bigger water parks where you just go on a fast cable with no feedback. This is somewhere you can have a LOT of fun & improve and get more skilled too. 100% recommend!

A great place to spend an afternoon, whether watching with a drink, wake boarding or paddle boarding. Did the paddle boarding 2 hour course today, Harry was brilliant and took care of all 6 of us taking part. Feel totally confident to head out solo on a paddle board now. Have previously been with friends/family for wake boarding and it’s always been wonderful. Give it a go!

Came here for my birthday and I've got to say it's been a memorable one for sure - we had a blast! Our instructor, Mike, is best in class, a true professional... while also being very welcoming & friendly. We will definitely be back for more sessions - thanks Wakeup Docklands for a great birthday :)

I had a great time. First time for me but I felt secured as my mentor Sponge the driver is very good. He made it easy for me to learn fast. Hard not to give it a second try. Highly recommended for those who are seeking for affordable yet worth it adventure. See you again soon guys.

Fantastic venue and fantastic intro to paddle boarding. The instructor was very friendly and good at communicating techniques. The booking process was very simple and the venue was easy to find. There's a very relaxed atmosphere which helps participants learn at their own pace. Would definitely recommend this venue and intro to paddle board course to others seeking to dip their toe into this sport

Amazing people. This is the place to come especially for either your first time wakeboarding or if you want to improve. I have been to other parks and this is the best for starting with the sport and gain confidence. I imagine it would be perfect for families. Thanks to the legends that run it. I’ll be back.

Instructor Jane had me standing up and doing a turn on my first go! Even though I'm 50 and unfit. My nephew loved it to. You must give it a go

Went on the 13/09/2023. This was my first time wakeboarding and my friend had gone once or twice before but not at this location. Each slot has four people which allows a good amount of time for each person to go out on the water. We rented boards and I also rented a wet suit. Karolina (?) our instructor was really helpful and pushed me to be more confident on the board. She gave great tips and was really funny. I managed to dislocate my shoulder right as my time ended and the general manager, Jon, was so kind and helpful, offering me a warm poncho and a ride to A&E. Highly recommend it and I definitely will be back once I've recovered!

I just did the ready to ride course with John and it was amazing!! Perfect sunny day, great instructions and a lot of fun! It felt easier than expected and by the end I felt confident and ready to ride any other time

About 20 of us from work chose to experience wakeboarding an paddleboarding yesterday. The Wakeup staff were friendly and professional. They gave good instructions for our technique and safety and kitted us out in all we needed. Thank you so much, we had a great time. What a fun summer evening out!
