A nice vegetation restaurant in Southall, West London. Majorly South Indian foods are too good, but other dishes are also decent. Most importantly prices are very reasonable. Almost every menu comes under Β£10. Ambiance is good πŸ‘. Stuffs are helpful. Getting table at weekends or rush periods may be tough, you need to wait for 10-15 mins may be. Quality and quantity both are good πŸ‘. Our 1st try was hit. Highly recommended to try a good vegetarian meal specifically South Indian. They have franchises all over the world. You can get complete info once you visit here.

The food in this branch is delicious. Having visited Saravana Bhavan in other London branches, we kept coming back to Southall purely because the food here is so tasty, and fresh and it's just like the food in India. The price is very reasonable too. The staff here are lovely, making it a very pleasant visit. We have been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Definitely the best Saravana Bhavan in London!

Had a good time at Saravanaa Bhavan with my friends whom I've met for the first time in person! However, the waiter looked like she was a bit scared and seemed to be new to the restaurant. The Paneer in the Chilli Paneer was very good and the Veg Manchurian along with the gravy was amazing. Ordered 2 different Paneer curries and they tasted the same with Naans (they were too good too) which we ordered. Overall, great conversations with cheap and high quality food :)

Really shocked at the lack of quality from an indian restaurant-ordered Gobi 65, channa masala, paneer and bindi. Gobi 65 had no flavour or spices completely bland like eating cauliflower dipped in oil. The sabjis had barely any spice to them, all cooked in the same bland base like the vegetables were just thrown into a runny mixture with no effort at all! Floating around in what looked like kids vomit. I had to take out myself more than 6 tablespoons of oil! Being a cook myself please at least make some effort and take pride into making dishes look succulent as well as tasting great! Was on holiday in london looking forward to an indian dinner but was so disappointed that Saravanaa Bhavan turned into a waste of money! Anyone looking for a good place to what HIGHLY RECOMMEND SANGEETHAS PURE VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT!

Amazing Indian food, specially south indian. Best dosa in the town. Although the size of the dosa has been changed compared to the last year. Filter coffee was good. Ambiance is good. The restaurant is almost packed all the time. But it is easy to get a table there. Enjoyed my time there.

Visited in June 2023. I’ve been to this particular SB and others previously, so know what to expect. Their variety of dosas and South Indian cuisine is vast and very diverse in flavour. We usually go for the Chef Specials, with Spinach and Cheese. This particular day at SB was incredibly busy and hardly a free table, however, we were lucky enough to sit in the banqueting area, which was a lot more comfortable. We ordered cocktails from SB for the first time, as they were new on the menu. They were disappointing. Tasted like they were out of a can - which they were. So I do not recommend that. Their starters were lovely, usually go for the Gobi 65/Manchurian. Service is pleasant enough however not the most attentive, which is usual in this fast paced environment.

A nice experience. We visited with my nephew who is in a wheelchair. We were offered a quieter seating area which we gladly took up. The food was presentable and tasty. Great value and would highly recommend. We ordered both the North Indian and South Indian Thali options which were great. The dhosa was tasty and value for money.

Absolutely mind blowing experience !!! ❀️ The food, the service, the ambience and the staff : this restaurant is excellent on all the parameters. Saravanaa Bhavan is my go-to place for South Indian food if I am in any town that has Saravanaa Bhavan. This one at Southall is also excellent. We were 4 friends and ordered different dosas for each of us, mini idli sambhar and drinks. The food was incredibly tasty and the service was fast. Also the staff were very warm, friendly and professional. Would come again and again.

Best Dosa in the UK. Really nice place for amazing South Indian food. Starters are pretty disappointing but, can’t fault the South Indian cuisine.

Our go to dosa restaurant in Ealing Borough. Now extended and refurbished, it continues to serve outstanding food swiftly and well cooked. We had our favourites - masala dosa, idli and mango lassi. A plus is the restaurant giving you a complimentary free parking space. Toilet facilities are much improved and the place is always full.

Service was quite slow. Waited 30 minutes for 4 masala dosas. The masala chai was also not too my liking, very strong - overly brewed; tasted more like black tea but can’t taste the masala (cardamom, cloves, ginger). The dosas were average, have had better elsewhere, but prices were low so can’t really complain. Clean inside with lots of seating.

As much as you enjoy your south indian food there, customer service is extremely poor. I was eating my food and rest of the people on my table were finished so the waitress just snatched my thali while i was eating without even asking. Secondly the toilet are not properly cleaned. You will be surprised to see the location of baby changing and theres no soap near the sink. If you would ask my experience I would say awful ,However can’t complaint about the quality of food.

It's like a piece of India in West London. The ladies who take the orders are helpful but can't help with additional questions and queries on ordering. We ordered spring rolls (2 cut into 4), the paratha (2 layered flatbread with 2 small curries) and Veg Manchurian (in gravy was a bad idea). The rolls and paratha were great. The Manchurian not at all succulent or as expected. Inexpensive and fun place and quick service. Limited parking and make sure you grab a car park pass from the staff.

This place was great, an awesome addition to our trip to Southall. Really good food and the service is quick and friendly. Potato masala is delicious, especially with the puri or dosa. Dosas were crispy and look really good with the chutneys on the thali. Highly recommend :)))

Saravanaa is one of my go to places for South Indian food outside India! They are known for their fresh and delicious food, however the Southall branch has kind of let me down with its inconsistency. I have been to their branches in Dubai and India however their branches both in Central London and Southall have let me down. 2 weeks ago I bought home these delicious soft idlis with fresh array of chutneys and half a kilo of boondi ladoos. The ladoos literally reminded me of India, especially during these challenging times nothing could be better than making you feel at home. I loved them so much that I asked my close friend to treat me to the idlis and ladoos for Eid. He kindly agreed to take me and we bought home 2 portions of Idlis and 5 boondi ladoos. Sadly neither of the items tasted like last time. The boondi ladoos looked so different with the boondis looking more like motichoor ladoos and not boondis. When enquired, to my shock I was said that they are the same ladoos and that it's made by Saravaana bhavan itself. I was just not convinced and I returned back to ask the guy at the till again but he too said it's the same ladoos. I'm a South Indian and I know my idlis well, this time the idlis were hard, nowhere close to what I had 2 weeks ago. It looked like the batter was not fermented. Having said that I had another not so good experience with Saravaana when I bought their veg manchurian, they were the size of ladoo, dry n tasteless. I did express my disappointment and they replaced my dish with something else. The two star is for the fresh chutneys and sambhar.

Another reliable outpost of this very vegan friendly establishment! Wherever you are in the world, if you are lucky enough to get to a Saravanaa Bhavan for a Masala Dosa, you are in for a delicious and fairly priced vegan treat!! This has been my now three-year-old'favorite food since before he was out in the world!

A Culinary Gem ✨ Just had the most enchanting experience at Saravana Bhavan! The aroma of authentic South Indian spices fills the air, and each dish is a masterpiece. From the warm hospitality to the exquisite flavors, this place is a true delight for the senses. Highly recommend the chettinad spicy masala dosaβ€”a symphony of crispiness and flavorful perfection and also Thier vegetable biryani. A hidden gem in Southall that deserves all the praise! Love from South Indians! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ordered Masala Dosa (good), biryani (decent flavors) served with raita, Chana Bhatura (wrong choice for a southern Indian joint, will never order again).

Great food, excellent service. Went there around 12 noon during a weekday. Got seated quickly. Menu has very good options, from North Indian, South Indian to Indo Chinese as well. Decently priced. Service was very good. Food was tasty. Served hot on time. Portions were also great. Ordered samosa and North Indian thali. Samosa was 2 pieces. North Indian thali had dal, Chana masala, paneer, aloo palak, option of poori/chapati (2 piece) , papad, rice, salad, raita, gulab jamun and another piece of samosa. The only downside was taste of Gulab jamun, which seemed stale.

I visited the restaurant for lunch and ordered the masala dosa and poori masala. The service was quick and courteous, and the food arrived hot and fresh. The masala dosa was crispy and thin, with a generous amount of spicy potato filling. The dish came with 2 coconut chutney and sambar. The poori masala was a deep-fried bread served with a curry of mashed potato and cauliflower. The only disappointment was the masala tea, which was bland and watery. It lacked the aroma and flavor of cardamom, ginger and cloves that I expected from a good masala tea. The only disappointment was the masala tea, which was bland and watery. It lacked the aroma and flavor of cardamom, ginger and cloves that I expected from a good masala tea. Both dishes were flavorful and satisfying, and the portions were generous. The restaurant had a lot of space and a customer car park behind the restaurant, which made it convenient. I enjoyed the meal and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Indian vegetarian cuisine in Southall.

We went for the tea, tea was very disappointing, served hours old tea not fresh at all , paratha was also not fresh as it has to be , we know the taste of saravanaa Bhawan as we are regular customer since 12 years in around the world, we tried from almost all branches around the world.

Really outstanding vegetarian. Even if you’re not a veggie, the food here is delicious and the presentation has a wow factor. The Puri are massive football sized fluffy Puri which you can’t help poke, and the paper and masala dosa were beautifully presented very large rolls usually with potatoe nicely spiced with sauce. Extra sauces mint, chutney, sambar nicely spiced and flavourful. They will bring extra sauces if you like one and run out. Mango lassi is delicious, as was the mango shake and for dessert their classic Gulab jamun with ice cream was a big hit with the kids. Basically ice cream sunday with jelly, ice cream and syrup. Atmosphere is basic, clean uncluttered tables and benches. Feels almost like being in India. Glass windows by the kitchen so you can see them prepare the massive crepe dosas and puris. Service is quick and efficient, told us in advance one meal would take 20 mins which was fine. We shared the dishes that arrived early and again when some arrived later. Is an easy place to share as the dosas are so big it’s better to eat them fresh and hot as they arrive. Reasonable prices for London. Would recommend for newbies to veggie or south Indian food. My Indian friends already know how good it is.

Great place for taste. Chana batura is my favourite dish here. I have tried quite a lot of dishes, and must say, I love them all. Very affordable place. But not great for ambience or cleanliness. Very busy place, so if you are looking for a peaceful dining experience, this is not the place. I recommend this place to enjoy the authentic Indian breakfasts. Food is mouthwatering! Mango lassi is heavenly!

I could give a good feedback but it is unfair to people liking your brand and enjoyed it before. I feel the chef do not know malai kofta cooking and a poor sauce was used, delivered late/last. Over fried Gobi65, dry early cooked porottas, butter nans poorly cooked and cold, very small portions of schechuan noodles, ordered twice, no salt in masala dosa filling and dosa mix lack urad dal but rice only. This type of delivery might be to reduce cost(people might be okay with it), I recommend increase price (sustainable) and give original south indian taste still delivered in your restaurents in South of India. Staff might also need rest especially the chef.. Rose milk, tea, 7up, vada were good to be fair. Please take comments positively, I would come again in two months and comment again. We do like your restaurents elsewhere.. please improve and be very successful. I saw the restaurent was busy with people from north primarily who would accept anything vegatarian thinking it is the original taste of south Indian food..

My favourite place for dosa, but I believe all other variety of food would be great as well. Though serve time is little too much (as they are normally too crowded), but it always worth a wait for that great taste of dosa. Best part is you can leave your car in their parking lot for 2 hours, which is a really peaceful experience otherwise you would be looking for parking. I also bought l{t of Indian sweets as it was Diwali time, and they had really good variety of Indian sweets.

Great indian restaurant with marvelous dishes that are very fresh and tasty. The interior is rather basic, but it is packed and there are enough waiters to take orders while further the food is fastly served. We ordered a massage dosa and a thali and we were were not disappointed is the servings and the taste which was great
