Ice rink is finally up and running again this year. The place is the most beautiful in London in a great location no doubt about it. Rink is on a medium size but good for casual skate or a fun activity. Rental Skates themselves are very painful, equivalent to a vice on your feet due to zero padding inside the plastic shells. These might be older than the kids skating on the ice rink and one of the biggest problems here in London. Blades are not very sharp but they do their job just fine. I had no issues. Price is steep but very common for London. I enjoyed skating here despite the downsides, one visit is all you need, wouldn’t recommend making this a regular skating spot. Best time to go is in the first couple of sessions as there wont be as many people. During my skate I had around 30 people on ice which allowed me to have some fun and not worry about bumping into other people. Plenty of space for falling kids as well.

Very nice and iconic ice rink however it leaves something to be desired. The ice was far from good with big chunks all over which is a severe safety issue. There is also no staff monitoring skaters and that leaves many impeding other's safety. The photo booth and photographer is very good tho. Recommend coming 30 mins early minimum in order to not be rushed. If you liked my review feel free to give it a 👍 and follow me on Google Maps for more reviews!

Great on the animal kingdom, specially the dinosaurs and mammals. Don’t miss the T-Rex, pretty amazing The human body section is very entertaining and fun to explore, however, some areas need to be fixed and/or updated. Great museum for both children and adults.

Couldn’t even use the ice rink as it was totally water logged, loads of people complaining and no one to receive complaints at all on site. All of my children was dressed up as we annually go to use the rink as a family tradition for Christmas but when we arrived in good order we saw the rink as it was in a terrible condition could not be enjoyable for us as a family. Nobody wanted to take responsibility nor talk about any problems of the rink, although everyone agreed it was terrible to say the least, and when I asked about refunds to the staff everyone just pointed to everyone else until I eventually got an email address after complaining for about an hour. Very very sad to not be able to use as has been tradition for years with my family, and I can’t recommend it as it stands at the moment. In reality nobody wants to help when your there as there was no customer service at all… All the kids were left disappointed, family day ruined and no help from skating managers on site at all as we had to leave with no kore then a email info address and talk of a no refund. See pictures. I have written to the IMG as well for the sake of trying. Let’s see….

Very beautiful experience to do around Christmas time, good sized ice Rink - I'd recommend booking online as tickets are slightly cheaper plus you skip the hassle of having to worry about it on the day. You get 50 minutes on the ice and it's the last year they will be doing it - doing it after sunset with all the lights on will have you feeling really Christmasy

Went to a 9pm slot and it was very busy. There was not much space to skate comfortably unfortunately and also the ice was very wet. However it was very pretty in the dark with the christmas tree in the middle and the lights on the tree branches. You can also have professional photos taken.

It's a really cool rink, very unfortunate that this is it's last year. This was my first time ice skating so I can't comment properly on the quality of the rink. I imagine that the skates are "ok", given that many people were using their own and doing much better than the beginners. It's a good way to spend 50 min of good exercise. Monday was a great day because it was not too crowded. The music and the lights were really cool!

Absolutely amazing idea for anyone looking for somthing to do around the festive period! Real ice and a large enough rink not to be bumping into someone every five seconds! Also because of the time slots the wait isn't to bad before you get on!

Gets busy in the evenings, being so insta worthy there are lots of folks who are just there for photos so they get in the way and break the overall rhythm of skating.

Didn't take long to get in, especially when you pre book. Plenty to see for the kids. The dinosaur exhibit was certainly the highlight of the day, especially with the T-Rex and his Xmas day jumper. We'll sign posted. Only gave 4 stars as I thought there would of been more interaction between the kids and parts of the exhibition. We managed to see majority of what we wanted within the time frame given. 😀

When you think Christmas you think snow and ice and you will think of ice skating. Definitely for those who can and can't ice skate, go to have fun and you will You can only get in through booking online and I would recommend you go during a week day and during the day as it's great for photos and also a bit quieter. There is lots of staff around and they will help when ther want. All the skates are disinfected before you get them. I would recommend you wear thick socks and maybe anything with a little ankle support will be helpful. There is a bar above where you can get a bite and even some mulled wine. Definitely will go next year if it's there and thoroughly recommend. Just wrap up warm and get stuck in

Great fun and a beautiful location. Warning for people going in the evening, the ice had melted A LOT and was very slippery and was like skating through puddles. There was also a big hold up getting onto the rink as everyone grabbed the rails. If you're brave just skate into the middle instead, you'll find your balance quicker and not waste 10mins of your skate time. Bring spare socks! The cafe is pretty average prices, £3.50 for coffees and £6 for alcohol coffees and beverages.

  • 4/5 Bhadya D. 2 years ago on Google
Was really well organised. Had so much fun. There was space to leave bags and coats securely. Really good atmosphere and friendly staff. There's food stall serving mulled wine which was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to get in and quickly to get skates, not to packed and plenty of penguins for the kids. Good cafe upstairs and plenty of seating.

Not much to do for young toddlers, gift shop was the highlight. They need to add some interactive areas for kids under 5. But it’s a great museum of course.

One of the unforgettable experiences in my life even British weather can be unprofitable and you can find yourself skating in a middle of heavy rain . We are travels here every New Year Eve as a part of New Year Eve London adventure

Good fun for both kids and adults alike. Price of food is extortionate though but I guess free admission compensates it. Kids can easily spend a whole day here without getting bored.

It is a nice experience for a christmassy evening. But crikey it is over-priced and over-packed. I was told they can book 400 people for a single 50-minute session. And it was only 350 for that 7pm and therefore not busy. With so many people skating it was near impossible to manoeuvre the space. But, with everyone being friendly the atmosphere is nice and everyone supports those less skilled.

We went in November. It was great. Lovely rink. Small, so definitely great to take photos with the Christmas tree etc.. but if you prefer skating with more space and speed then try Lee Valley Ice centre.

Must have experience!! A bit more expensive than the ring in Winter wonderland, but personally I think is better because the decoration in the surrounding area is magical! Really worth the money

  • 3/5 Lila A. 4 years ago on Google
Very beautiful setting! Unfortunately just too packed and the queue to collect and return skates it's honestly not worth the skate. I also found staff to be exceptionally rude and they had no system - numerous people were served before me. The same thing happened to the lady before me, she spoke up and they say "yes, you need to wait like the rest of them", so when it came time to me I didn't bother saying anything because I knew I would get a rude response, so I just waited ages for many other people who arrived after me to be served before me. I wouldn't go back. I went to Somerset House the year before and the experience was far more pleasurable. It's honestly a pity because the setting is really beautiful!!

(Translated by Google) On December 15, 2020, I had a unique opportunity to visit the museum thanks to the responsiveness and help of employees to register on their website. There were a lot of young people and couples with children that day. It was interesting for me to read the information on the stands, look at the exhibits, and also see various videos on the walls. It is better to see once than hear a hundred times. Come to the museum for a few hours and plunge into the world of dinosaurs, space, the life of past centuries and precious stones. Perhaps in the future you will find yourself in the hall dedicated to the global pandemic in 2020. By the way, the photo does not convey the acuity of sensations and information like a video. Make sure to plan to visit the museum in 2021!

(Translated by Google) This museum is intriguing and captivating at first. You are already impressed at the entrance with the floating skeleton of a whale, and in each room a new discovery. It's great for a family outing, the kids will love it. A perfect place for curious and scholars in the areas of biology and animal life.
