    NOTE TO THOSE THAT ARE THINKING ABOUT APPLYING TO WORK HERE IN THE UK OFFICE PLEASE READ: I did 3 rounds of interviews with Lightspeed. For my final round they expected me to demonstrate (pretty much) their entire software product with no training of course on top of that they expected me to know in-depth industry knowledge (without warning) while being highly scrutinised by their arrogant staff that clearly have no idea how to run a sales organisation hence all the negative reviews below. If you value your time, energy and well being I’d avoid interviewing here at all costs and rather spend your time and energy where a company will value your efforts and not expect you to know their company & product backwards before ever having worked there.

    When we were told by Zettle that they would no longer be offering the Zettle Pro till system I panicked. They gave me a choice of systems to change to and I chose Lightspeed. What a great choice. The onboarding team helped me to set up the till with a combination of tutorials, emails and 1:1 via Zoom. Any problems were sorted out immediately. The system is amazing and so easy to use. The back office allows me to change prices, add new items and monitor my business. It also allows me to track my staff hours and has made the payroll so much easier. I would highly recommend Lightspeed and wish I had found them earlier.

    Support from Jonathan Bond has been superb. Have needed help with specific bits and he has delivered. Great system that we are delighted to be using.

    We have been with Lightspeed for 4 years for our restaurant group and recently moved over to K series. I wasn't convinced to start with but we've been seeing the upgrades the LS have made to the back office and I'm really happy with the progress. It feels more like L series in terms of functionality. The user experience and the reporting are great. We've managed to integrate most of our front of house and back of house operations with Lightspeed at the centre. Very happy with the progress so far.

    I should have listened to the review about not wasting your time applying here! I had a screening call on 9/10/23 with recruiter Jennifer Gribben for an Ops role. After passing the first stage and being told to hear back from her everything went quiet… I sent a follow up email 2 days later and still quiet. It’s now been 3 weeks, 30/10/23, and the role has been removed from their careers page. I wouldn’t be so bitter if they simply communicated with me about why I wasn’t progressing despite the recruiter telling me i would but clearly a company like Light-speed doesn’t uphold its own values that I researched on their website & completely wasted my time. If you check their other reviews this is not an isolated incident.

    We have been using Lightspeed for our busy restaurant for over a year and the product and support are excellent. Easy to set up, intuitive to use and the backup is always there if you need it. Would highly recommend

    We moved over to lightspeed a few months ago now and so far the transition has been seamless. Programming is straightforward, reporting gives us exactly what we need and in service the POS works intuitively and quickly. I've used quite a few different POS systems in my time and this is definitely up there

    We have been using Lightspeed for 10 months now and I have to say that the system ticks every box! We now have the Retail EPOS, Loyalty and Analytics to take our business to the next level. We are also talks with Barclaycard (preferred partner for Lightspeed) for card terminal integration to make the check-out process even more smooth. Training is completed online, the new norm via Zoom and this has worked perfectly. Many advisors have been located in The Netherlands; their English is perfect, well impressed and their product knowledge 100%. Every question always gets answered and their follow-up process is 2nd to none. I have worked with many systems in my various walks of life and indeed in other businesses that I have.     This is a company of criminals. They missold their product, which was not fit for purpose. We cancelled our account. Following this they are still trying to charge us a yearly renewal, and not responding to any attempts at communication. Avoid at all costs.

    Can't recommend lightspeed enough. We started using the retail element in early 2019. Having used Microsoft dynamics RMS for the previous 14 years. The transfer was flawless and the support was excellent. The system is very user friendly for both staff and management. We've have a few issues but all were sorted in quickly and efficiently. The 24 hour support is a godsent as I do a lot of work at uncivilised hours and there's always someone to contact. Once we were all comfortable with the retail element we then integrated the ecom element. I had less than zero knowledge of ecom but they talked me through the whole process. There's plenty on themes, add ons and apps when setting up your website. Thankfully I was able to set up the whole thing myself (with help from lightspeed). The over all cost Is reasonable considering what you get for it. Our account managers Kieran/Johnathan are regularly in contact to see if they can improve on anything. Which is great as Microsoft rep only got in contact once in 14 years and that was under the threat of a lawsuit if he didn't reply. I'm very happy with lightspeed overall and would be delighted to recommend it anybody in clothing retail. Mikey moran

    unfortunately this company is managed by kids! is poor service! poor training! they will let you go live without any help or supervision and end up in a mess!! my integration with deliveroo is not working, my integration with credit card machine is not working not what you need when running a busy restaurant

    If you have your eyes on any other pos systems, go for them. Lightspeed's customer service is non-existent. I've been trying to migrate from the L-series to the K for over a month and every time I have to follow up with them, because they just disappear without saying anything. Apparently our account manager's been on a holiday for over 1 month, which means I get absolutely no help or support. Honestly guys sort yourself out, this "support" is a joke.

    Update - After leaving the review, I was given an email address to help directly communicate and resolve administrative issues. Would highly recommend against this company. Sales reps are extremely pushy but bought the software thinking itd be really good. Unfortunately was missold as i didnt need the ecwid platform straightaway just epos. Even after requesting just the epos, i was told thats the base price and it comes with the ecwid platform. Not not a single call back after leaving them 5 messages. Avoid at all cost. I was with goodtill by sumup before and only moved from it because it was ipad based. But their customer service is exemplary. These guys however, avoid!

    When you wish to cancel your subscription with Lightspeed you will need to work hard. Very hard. I just don't appreciate companies that are complicating the cancellation of the subscription just to get more money out of you. Shame on them Avoid this company.
