Very interesting building, sadly rather bare now but with some interesting features and enthusiastic volunteers to answer questions and reveal quirky facts. One of these was that the church formed part of the city wall and to reach the pulpit the priest had to go 'outside' the wall, mount a small staircase and re-enter the church from outside the city.

My 10th Great Grandfather is buried there. Sir Alexander Ibbs. And my 8th GGF was beheaded by King James in 1686, William Hibbs Sr. For being a Quaker...

Great little church. And I also found it on a map dated in the 1560s. So it's old too.

The open mic here has a great vibe and the sound of the building is amazing.

Visited Tuesday morning. A simple church, still used for low church services. Week days opening supported by the friends of London Churches. Used by an out reach office. A church whose heart still beats. When open worth a visit just to sit in peace and quiet.

Great church with a great community that meets here on Sunday mornings!
