I love coming here... I've always enjoyed the exhibitions. Small enough to just pop in and enjoy. There's a restroom and a tiny cafe and book/gift shop area. Seating areas just to relax too

An utter disgrace, if you're looking for injustice then you should visit this political court. I recommend avoiding.

My favourite Gallery in London, always a wonderful place to visit, even during these difficult times. We felt perfectly safe and socially distanced but were able to move around the gallery at our own pace and enjoy being back amongst beautiful art works. Felt very privileged to be a participating artist this year after so many times visiting as a spectator (and took a socially distance selfie too!)

My elderly father suffering from cancer and COPD was conned by a debt collector posing as a solicitor. I found the solicitor was fake but these people seem to think it is quite acceptable as long as the debt is collected, with an extra £500 for the canny debt collector. Passing yourself off as a solicitor is no longer a crime apparently. Weakening one law weakens them all.

An excellent exhibition of contemporary oil paintings many of which I would be very pleased to have hanging on my own walls. The paintings are for sale and I was told that there are new exhibits every few weeks. The cost of entry is £5 unless you join as a member. The staff are very friendly and welcoming .Also in this building is an exhibition of miniature paintings which are all of an extremely high standard.I would certainly recommend anyone who is interested in art which shows real artistic talent and ability to visit this gallery.

What a time to explore the Supreme Court of Justice! You can see the courtrooms, and reflect on the occasion, when eleven judges rather than the more usual five of the twelve Supreme Court Judges decided that Boris Johnson's decision was 'unlawful'. The building itself used to be the Guildhall for Middlesex County Council and there are a lot of references to this time, including an exhibition. The Supreme Court just celebrated its first ten years in this building. It is free to visit and has a cafe and gift shop and toilet facilities. The staff are very helpful and friendly! There is also an interview with Lady Hale on display. I might get a beautiful copy of the Magna Carta next time, which can be purchased in the cafe. One of the original manuscripts and reissue of the Magna Carta, which is on loan from Westminster Abbey, can be viewed for free in the exhibition hall in the basement.

Amazing gallery with lots of space. I attended a food photo award ceremony. It was packed with around 500 people. The staff was helpful. It is in the heart of London. Parking could be an issue but other than that, it is great!

Gorgeous venue, highlighting great works of art. On 2 levels, with the entrance on the upper floor and gallery on the ground floor. The floor space exhibiting art, bathroom and a little cafe. If you are lucky enough you may have an opportunity to meet the artists who are warm and friendly. Clean and well presented. You will definitely enjoy your time here.

(Translated by Google) I have never been to the UK and would love to visit. Because I have a concern for the English jurisdiction. Why England allows Facebook based in Northern Ireland to spy on its users, mainly those in Germany and reading messages in Facebook Messenger. No Englishman would let his privacy be spied on by an American. And Facebook comes from America. And I bet that every user in England, Scotland and Ireland is spied on, listened to and written by Facebook. Shouldn't a UK Supreme Court prevent and prevent this? Or does it not matter to the judges that an American platform spies on its citizens at home and abroad in Europe on instructions from Germany, whose government has always been in the dirt?

Free and of mid-size, so there’s enough to see! I don’t know why I had never gone here before, because the art displayed was so innovative that this place has to be within my top 5 favourite galleries. Definitely worth a visit - and you can drink some coffee while visiting too

A veritable gem. We don't get as much chance to go as we would like, but it is absolutely worth the effort. This was a collection of art curated by key members of the gallery. An astonishing range and variety of work. There was an artist demonstrating his skills while we were there and so engaging. One of our go to places in the whole of London!

Mall Galleries following a lengthy stint of exhibitions online are back with a series of displays showcasing figurative works by members of the various societies they represent. The space is the same as it ever was save that the bookshop and cafe are closed but the area previously used as setting for the latter now accommodates picture stands. The current exhibition champions paintings by members of the Royal Society of Painters in Watercolours as well as those submitted by associate or aspirant members. An impressive and varied collection around which visitors proceeded at a much slower pace than usual as though savouring delights of which they had been deprived during the months of lockdown.

Hygiene at the Gallery was first class. It was a great joy being able to examine real paintings after months of isolation. Pictures were well displayed and it was easy to keep away from others and enjoy the paintings. I missed the cafe and being able to reflect on some works from the middle of the room, but there it is! I would very much like to visit the Marine Artists exhibition but my concern is the train journey to London.

After a summer of being denied such pleasures, it was a relief to visit two exceptional exhibitions at the Mall Galleries. With the pre-booking system the numbers were restricted to a time slot and everyone wore masks. The only other change was a one way system that work well to guide people around the paintings in a safe manner. I missed the refreshments and book sales but the everything else was as normal. Travelling into London and around easy as there appear to be hardly anyone in central areas at this time.

Private art gallery, so you will need to pay. Membership is a good idea. There are frequent changes of exhibitions featuring contemporary art. Staff are friendly and helpful.

(Translated by Google) Few tourists know that the British Supreme Court can be visited freely during the open hours (you can see the Supreme Court website in the visiting the court section). The tour costs £ 7, for children 12-16 free, there are discount tickets. But excursions are held at certain hours, we, unfortunately, did not have time. You can go just like that, but then you will not see the library. Come here even without a trip definitely recommend! A very beautiful building both outside and inside. At the entrance, pass control, and you can visit the three courtrooms. One on the first floor to the right of the entrance, the second two - up the stairs to the left. They even allow taking pictures on the spot of the chairman of the court. Below is an exhibition and cafe. The building also has free toilets.

(Translated by Google) We entered on the occasion of the Open House London and it was a pleasant surprise. It is a modern building that has revived the old style. Or vice versa, an old building that has managed to modernize while retaining the old. There were magistrates who explained the operation of the agencies, as well as explanatory videos. The bathrooms are very clean. (Original) Entramos con motivo del Open House London y fue una grata sorpresa. Se trata de un edificio moderno que ha sabido revivir el estilo antiguo. Perfect size gallery with the wonderful opportunity of talking directly with some of the exhibited artists! I had just seen the pastel exhibition and it was incredible the variety in art included in terms of style, technique and use of material! Such an incredible gallery providing great opportunities to young or seasoned artist

The Mall Galleries are really now very safe to visit with controlled ticketing and safe distancing, I felt very safe there. This years exhibition was good but not quite as good as some past years. It's a bit like wine vintage. It varies. I would definitely go again and look forward to the next exhibition. The staff are always very charming and most helpful. - Richard

It is always a treat to visit this gallery. The standard of work is often breathtaking. the artworks are well displayed in a pleasant space. I have also enjoyed many interesting art events such as demonstrations and workshops. Highly recommended!

Thoroughly delightful low key gallery with an eclectic mix of art work on display. Perhaps the lighting could be improved as the works were hung very snugly? Plenty of space for viewing and socially distancing if you're worried about crowds. A nice contrast to big galleries and worth supporting.

As ever, the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours exhibition held at the Mall Galleries was a superb event with a wide range of high quality paintings on display. OK so this included one of mine! Aside from that, it was a stimulating couple of hours exploring the work of fellow watercolour painters, both RI members and non-members, who were also fortunate to be selected for the open exhibition. There was an extra exhilaration at this being the first art exhibition I have visited since the start of the pandemic in early 2020 and, despite masks, there was a real sense of energy & excitement at being part of such a joyous communal event. Would heartily recommend. There's also some wonderful work still available to buy.

It was great to be back in the mall Gallery again and able to see and almost feel the presence of each artwork in way just not possible with even the best virtual experience. The diversity of different expression of water colour techniques and styles is a delight, and the artworks range from beautiful renditions of the artist vision to the gritty and sometimes harsh emotions that flow out image and into our perceptions. It is also a peaceful space to enjoy a moment of quiet in the frenetic pace of the noisy city that surrounds. Get there if you can.

Great that this place is open again. No cafe at present. Good Pastels exhibition . More seating to rest one's feet would have been nice

  • 5/5 Lydia M. 2 years ago on Google
Warning: there is no café here so try not to be too early for an event! Other than that it is a really lovely gallery with a good choice of products for sale as well as lots of beautiful paintings and sculptures, all for sale if you are feeling rich. They keep art materials for visitors to use as well.

Small gallery with frequently changing exhibitions. Specialises in contemporary British art, particularly representational painting. Works often for sale, often "affordable" (sub £1k)

NEAC exhibition really good value at £5.00 if you have an hour to kill and are in the trafalgar square area. HRH has a couple of his paintings included too.

These galleries show a good variety of art work, with a beautiful space and location to match. We enjoyed an afternoon of a walk in the park, the gallery culture, along with refreshments at the gallery, too. Lovely to have quiet time and culture, so close to the Palace in this beautiful, busy city.

Lovely large bright gallery that always has something interesting to see, friendly staff, but the best thing is being able to sit in the actual gallery and have tea and cake. I go here quite a lot and it’s a great place to take visitors to London who want something calmer than the crowds of big galleries and visual beauty

Great gallery by Admiralty Arch and the Women in Art Fair is superb. Could have lost a star because the cafe wasn’t open late afternoon. Well worth a visit.

Love this gallery, it's the perfect size to lose yourself for a couple of hours. I was at the Society of Wildlife Artists annual exhibition, beautiful work by a wide variety of artists and media. Great location, staff are lovely, there's a small cafe and very reasonable entry fee of £5. My only gripe was the toilets not working, (male and female) which accounts for the 4 stars, but hopefully that was a one off. Will be back soon hopefully 🤩
