Seven Dials is a central focal point to hundreds of a little boutiques, clothes stores, food stalls, restaurants and pubs. It is called seven Dials due to the seven roads that lead off from the central round about which has a tall statue with sun dials on the top. The Christmas lights in particular that circles the seven Dials is very iconic. Drivers of many cars passing through, late at night will stop, get out and take photographs and selfies with the lights circling around them.

Whitechapel Market is a very diverse place with a wide range of asian clothes and grocery foods (mainly Bengali products). It's a great place to buy as there are an abundance of sales and discounts for various products there. You can find everything from beautiful saris to necklaces. When you come to this place, you feel like you're in Bangladesh or India.

A lovely place for gathering either day or night time. This is the actual road that cars can drive through the circle so, you'd better be careful during the walk. Isn't it lovely during Christmas?

Prebooked a table. The area was spacious, you use an app to order your food which came out very quickly! The selection of stalls were great for a group of friends to choose from and was perfect especially with the cold weather inside, its lovely to stay indoors and be warm and enjoy the food. Personal favourite was yum buns!

A tad too crowded but has almost every items that a Bengali would want to buy regardless of which side of the border he or she belongs to. I was amazed at the collection of Bengali Dessert shops as I walked down the street and needless to say packed some back. A treasure trove for fresh water fish and Vegetables that are not available in your general superstore and at unputdownabale rates. I cannot comment on non food items like clothes and Electronics as all my sensory focus was on the food on offer but there are plenty of other items too just for information.

I buy all of my fruit and vegetables here. The place is a Mish mash of everything. Plus the Indian street food is a perfect excuse to go. Groceries on the cheap is also a plus.

Whitechapel Market has a variety of shops and stalls. The shops are a mixture of major chains and independent stores. I visited CEX recently and the store was clean and items are well displayed. The staff members are polite and friendly. They sell games consoles, games, tablets, phones and accessories. Plus loads more tech stuff. They offer the facility to buy your old games, consoles, phones and other tech items for cash or in store credit.

I used to enjoy my visit of the market before. However, lately it hasn't been so. Prices of things like Cosmetic jewellery and garments have risen a lot. The quantity of vegetables or fruit per £1 bowl has reduced. Even in the shops with basic asian food comodities have put up prices. However, if you have got some good time at hand, then finding some bargain pieces is still possible. I found some nice scarves. The stitching of clothing with apparently compatible with high street stores have got seriously loose stitching.I bought a fluffy jumper but the stitches gave away with the first wear. There is however a shoes stall where you can find Clarks shoes at lower prices. The attitude of the stall owner is extremely friendly. Food is available at fairly(not much) cheaper. The station, Royal London Hospital, the Library and bus routes are at a few yards from each other. Stepney Green Retail stores are at walking distance...so always an opportunity to make the most of your day.

A lot of things can be found here. Can be very crowded on weekdays as it is situated very close to the Whitechapel Station, Royal London Hospital and East London Mosque. Also a good place for muslims as there are plenty of choice in terms of halal groceries and culinary.

Was in the area and had time to spare so paid a visit here. Right near Whitechapel train station. It’s a very lively and fun atmosphere here. Lots of sellers and buyers talking and having fun. Very busy as well. Most stalls only take cash payments. Best to come here with a load of change to pay the exact amount. Even heard a few ladies trying to haggle with the traders🤦🏽‍♀️ Lots of fresh veg and fruits. They lay them out in bowls and you just pick up the bowl and they bag it up. A bit of everything was available here. All looked good quality and prices were reasonable as well. Lots of vibrant ethnic clothes too. Some lovely handbags caught my eye. Didn’t buy anything this time round but would come again

Honestly Whitechapel market has gone down deeply cos' it is lacking in terms of variety seriously. Mostly Asian clothes everywhere however in 1990s great fruit and vegetables, flower man, proper fishmongers etc. Watney market, Petticoat lane needs massive improvement at all. Plus Whitechapel market seems really dirty.

Bustling whitechaple, perfect for the Bengali Asian community, selling a range of fruits and veg as well as clothing. Went to a few stores to purchase home wearing clothes such as maxi's which ranged from £5 to £20 and islamic head scarfs prices i purchased for was 5 scarfs for £10. Where as normal stores would expect to spend much more without the quality. So managed to pick a couple things out well worth crossing the bridge for.

It was good however outside the old CORAL betting shop there is a water leak coming out of the building and it floods the whole pavement and the stall owners can't sell their products because the customers don't want to walk through a puddle so I would very much appreciate it if the council would find a solution so that both the stall owners and the general public can walk through whitechapel market.

Never been up to covent garden or surrounding areas and seen it so empty . No cars , people or buses clogging up the roads . You can walk around and look without getting bumped , pushed or hassled . It's such a shame for all the businesses that are suffering but it's a once in a life time opportunity, make the most of it .

They did a v good job despite tier 2 lockdown restrictions. It felt safe. They spaced everyone out and all food and drinks were table service only. The food itself was delicious, also great beer on tap. I look forward to going back when restrictions ease again. My only negative is that the music was v loud so hard to hear each other speak.

I wish there were more dining experiences like this. You don't get this much variety and high quality options in traditional restaurants. We tried a little from every stand and left berry happy with our stay. Also worth noting this place handles COVID dining very well.

The Seven Dials has a garland suspended like a giant christmas wreath. Nice for a stroll. Cycling around here is tough. Cobbles, and a lot of potholes and patchwork repairs.

Edit: Dial Arch in Woolwich (not seven dials) 1 star for a helpful happy attentive male staff, but overall the manager and another female waitress was super rude. They ran out of food but then had attitude as we looked at the menu for the only few that was available.

This is primarily a Bagladeshi market selling an assortment of fruit and vegetables suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Good value for money produce eg £1 for 3-4 aubergines or courgettes. Good apples and tangerines/oranges, mangoes, excellent large bunches of very fresh garlic and ginger and tomatoes...Also exotic Indian clothing, some tunic type blouses and numerous long scarves. Cheap bags luggage, household rugs etc. Some unknown unfamiliar veg. Eg mustard leaves and unfamiliar herbs.A learning curve! Have not found a good local cafe yet. Loos in the library, pubs, cafes or Sainsburys.

Spent alot of my teenage life in Whitechapel and honestly the market is as it was 20 years ago. Fresh produces all the time, fruits, veg, fish and traditional Bangladeshi items available all year round. A place you must visit to understand East London.

Some things are okay and the prices are low, but mostly they want to haggle you and take your money. You have to be careful and calculate yourself when it comes to paying for things. The quality isn't the best, so you pay accordingly

It was alright, lots of nice abayas, but not the ones iv been eyeing, lots of abayas with belts in all different materiales for those interested. They also have a neighboring fish market which did not give the best impression as the smell continued to follow everywhere you went

Very vibrant town centre along the high street. Stalls almost for everything. For instance, clothes&wearable, fruit&vegetables, jewellery, restaurants, fast foods, café continental ang exotics. Mainly, it is the local for the famous Thr Royal London Hospital, The East London Mosque, Arts Gallery and London transport museum at Aladgate East. The area undergone regeneration and development. Seeing is believing. So highly recommended to visit get Elithabith Line from Heathrow for fastest route.
