Exceptional service, beautiful jewelry. I first discovered The Vintage Jeweller through their Instagram. I was impressed by their aesthetic, and of course the jewelry, which is beautiful. I contacted Sully and made an appointment to discuss an engagement ring. I know next to nothing about jewelry, but Sully was patient, informative and made the whole experience a real pleasure. Nothing was too much trouble and Sully sourced a diamond to my specification and budget. It was perfect. I had the ring designed and set by a goldsmith which TVJ recommended and the result well exceeded my expectations. The service was personal, detailed, and highly professional. I bought this amazing 9ct antique yellow gold ring with so much character! Over 150 years old in incredible condition :) The delivery was super quick and had a personal touch with a cute little box. Looking forward to place it on my girlfriend's finger on our wedding day! If I could feedback something to improve something that would take your impeccable shop to the next level is having some information about the ring in the package that is sent with. But that is a minor thing, because both your website and service is amazing!

This was my first time buying an antique ring and I was a bit nervous about purchasing the ring without seeing it in person. Sean was incredibly patient in answering all my questions. He provided additional photos and video (of the rings I shortlisted) and went above and beyond by sharing his own recommendations. He really cares about the customer’s experience and makes the whole process seamless from start to finish. The ring was exactly as described and arrived very quickly. The Vintage Jeweller is an exceptional establishment, quite unusual in these times. All jewellery is stunning, and in stunning condition- and yet incredibly affordable. I bought my engagement ring in Dec 2019, a vintage white gold band with nineteen diamonds (image attached) for an amount in the hundreds- an amazing feat when friends of mine were regularly spending thousands on new rings which, frankly, I didn't think were as nice. In addition to this, the service is exceptional. I went to try the ring, had my finger measurement taken on the spot, and they fitted it perfectly to my measurements in under an hour. I went around the corner for a glass of fizz to celebrate the purchase, and by the time I finished my glass it was done. Finally, in Dec 2020 I lost one of the diamonds from the ring. This was an epic disaster for me, as I love it so much but I'm also deeply, deeply clumsy. I'd been having panic dreams about breaking the ring (a bit like the ones you get where your teeth have fallen out), and then they came true. Anyway, I wrote to The Vintage Jeweller, and they told me simply to send it back and they would fit it with a new diamond, polish it and send it back... FOR FREE. FREE. Unbelievable. How incredibly kind is that? And what an example of overdelivering for customers. I'm a small business owner myself, and it really hit home what it means to provide quality service. I've never been happier with an interaction with a business, and I'm contemplating buying more utterly frivolous jewellery just because I like them so much. Whatever happens, I'm definitely going back there for our wedding bands- if we're ever allowed to get married. We have our fingers crossed for Dec 2021! Thanks so much, TVJ. You guys are awesome.

I cannot express enough how happy I am with The Vintage Jeweller's customer service. We ordered my engagement ring online from Australia and Sullivan's communication and help was fantastic throughout the entire experience. I naturally had questions and asked for a photo of the ring on, which was quickly provided along with a video along with responses to all of my questions over several emails. Sullivan was also very patient over this time including putting the item on hold whilst funds were transferring. He was also understanding that this was a big purchase without seeing the ring in person and assured us that we could refund within 30 days and should an error be on their part, that they would pay for the return shipping too. We appreciated that the insured postage to Australia was all free of charge and within a week it had arrived, even with the current COVID circumstances. The ring is exactly as described and of course even more stunning and spectacular in person. We are elated and cannot thank Sullivan and The Vintage Jeweller enough, we would highly recommend as a genuine, reliable, high-quality and caring Jeweller.
