I've always liked Maryon Park. A peaceful oasis in Charlton.

Maryon Park is famous as a critical setting in the ‘60s film “Blow Up!” This is where actor/photographer David Hemings shot photos of a murder unbeknownst to him. The park then was beautifully kept, but now it is run down and you have to be alert to some unsavory people. I was saddened to see it in its current state. The cool antique shop at the entrance is gone now.

A good size park good for tennis, basket lovers, as park offer fee courts. Perfect for a walk and lots of space for picnic.

Nice for a long walk and exercise. A but muddy but bearable. Just avoid the area with mud.

Small local park with a community garden club inside. I drop off my vegetation waste (from my Bokashi bins) to the local garden community. Great place to walk dogs, take children (little park inside) tennis courts, and a few park benches to sit down.

Toddler equipment in the playground could be better but great for a 5yr old. The park as a whole is fantastic

Beautiful park with various quiet and tranquil spots. Also its kept ridiculously clean, you'll hardly come across discarded trash as everyone tends to chip in, in keeping it clean.

Walked there with grandchildren, who enjoyed the playground, & our 7 year old granddaughter commented how much better it was with the new 'softer' ground! I also found it was a good place to run in the early morning, though I was uncertain when it opens - I like the park very much

Can't believe how good the light installations were. For free! Loved it.

The kids love it. Great space for football and a basketball court too. Lots of benches, which is unusual. The toilets are gross which is fairly standard for public loos. If they weren't it be 5 stars. There is also an Animal Park a short walk away which is great too. Deer, rabbits, goats, assorted poultry, we've been many times. Both recommended.
