A disgrace to the Westminster borough! Low ratings are so true so always check before you go. I will breakdown into sections as to why this branch should be rebranded to ‘Caffe Concerning’. Unfortunately, being located in such a high end area and the posh interior, the customer service and food quality does NOT match with the standards. Furniture: When we asked for a table for 2, the guy in the pink shirt (possibly floor manager) bald head, directed us to a table not so convenient. It was in between two other families which was crowded and awkward. So instead we sat at a separate round table, very small, that was wobbly and the waiter did not inform us about this and it was uncomfortable. Waiters: Waiters have no manners and are not approachable at all. Marco Costa, please wake up and see what’s happening in your restaurants, as they will end up closing down your successful business. There was no waiters around and we waited for about 20 minutes just to order, baring in mind it was not that busy with the number of waiters working. All the waiters were downstairs lingering around the bar area, not one waiter was spotted upstairs. When we caught one waiter , we called him he stopped for us then instantly said one minute I will come later. I do not know what his name was but he had greasy ringlets with outdated glasses. The next waiter came and we approached him to change our seat he then asked what would we like to eat and we said we have ordered and it’s been 50 mins, almost lunch time. This waiter had no idea we ordered already and then sent another clueless waiter who got us the lunch menu. This started to get very frustrating. If Marco Costa was present, his reputation would have been stripped off and hospitalised. Menu: We came to have BREAKFAST around 11am, and when it was time to order, we was told by one of the waiters that none of the meat is halal which is UTTERLY DECEIVING as it states on your website (screenshot provided) you provide certified halal food as well as being established across Muslim countries such as Saudi and Dubai, this is unacceptable. Hence we ended up having the full english with no meat. We did request to get halloumi cheese as a replacement for the sausages, but of course despite the awful service, the waiter did not mention this to the chefs. As usual, we had to call another waiter, to get us the halloumi, as well as water (they do not ask if we want anything else). Furthermore, we requested American pancakes and was told this is not available. Not sold out, but not available. That’s like saying an afternoon tea with no tea. The menu was lacking, the food that was served was not cooked properly and burnt hence why I have taken pictures for proof. Once the food arrived after the 50minutes of waiting, the eggs were partially burnt, tomatoes was raw, and the banana was rotten. The bill: After our plates were taken, we had no acknowledgement from the waiters on whether we needed anything else or to Pay. Again, having to wait another 10 mins we got up ourselves and went downstairs to pay. We mentioned no one was around to assist us, and the guy that served us for the bill (dressed all in a black suit and top) was very unapologetic and instead defensive towards himself and the staff. With the bill there was a service charge added, we refused this straight away and the waiter asked us why. We told him that the waiters did not approach us and ignored us when we called one of them. Instead of apologising, he claims that it was ‘busy’. I have seen restaurants before that have ques lined up outside. This was nothing near that. That attitude proves the lack of enthusiasm towards customer care. Toilets You’d expect a high end caf to have lavish toilets with the large mirrors, spacious and clean. It is all opposite. I went to touch up my makeup and the place was so dirty, toilet paper rolling off on the floors, smelly. We went to have a simple breakfast, not this brunch/lunch. The waiting times are awful. If I had the option to give 0 stars I would have.

Went to lunch with friends with a 3 years old kid and a 10 months old baby. I can’t see this cafe is child friendly, we were having a high chair for the baby, in the middle of our lunch the staff asked if they could take the high chair to another customer, so we put the baby in the pushchair instead. I was just wondering if the cafe only got one high chair?! There is no changing table in the toilet either. The food is quite expensive provided with this kind of quality and service. The bill was just over 100 pounds for 3 adults and a kid, though we did have dessert. The cake we had wasn’t very fresh and the cream was already ruined when it was served. The service was average, cleanliness was average too. Just don’t expect too much if you go there.

We went for dinner for a friend's birthday and it was a lovely setting, being seated away from the main downstairs area, maybe as the person booking said it was for a birthday? Our experience may have been different otherwise, perhaps. Beautifully decorated, albeit a tad out of place with the concrete columns and shabby chic look of the ceiling. The food and drinks were delicious, though a tad more than I would usually pay, but the service was impeccable. The toilets are absolutely tiny and two small cubicles for the ladies is definitely not enough and the facilities itself is insufficient. Daria was serving us and she couldn't do enough to make our visit memorable. Very relaxed and attentive, she didn't rush us at all and we didn't need to wait around for anything. She was definitely the best part of our visit and we'd come again for the service and ambience and try out their brunch and afternoon tea menu, though will be needing to space out our visits as there are so many competitive places to eat in London. Overall, would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

The cakes were good but on the warm side. If they were chilled they would have taste much better. Service was on the slow side, they were probably under staffed. I also had a macchiato that tasted poorly.

The cafe was beautiful styled and the food (cakes) and service were great! Lovely place. I would give it 5 stars if the music was less loud since it became a little dificult to have a conversation with eachother on the table (we sat in the back). When asking if the music could be a little less loud the answer was 'Otherwise people on the front of the cafe cannot hear the music'. Hope this will be sorted out eventually and speakers will be bought in the front of the cafe as well so you can enjoy the great food everywhere in the store :) Recommended!

In one word: Pretentious. A little bit wanna be fancy, I see what they tried with the interior. But the Cups are old and used, you see the fabric-like ceiling and on the tables are dusty plastic flowers. Tbh it’s fine if you just want a cheap Tea Time experience: buy an overpriced pice of cake and a cup of average tea. In comparison to “really fancy” afternoon tea experience, the prices are cheaper. But it’s still overpriced and expensive in my opinion. The service was also unpleasant. We didn’t get the cake we ordert, immediately after finishing got asked to pay, but the ordered cake was still on the bill. Also staff sitting in the cafe, eating and texting. Food was mediocre. All in one: I wouldn’t recommend it.

Looks good but a bit disappointing. First of all, it's very hard of access to people in wheelchairs. The staff took so long to help my friend access the building. I ordered a shakshuka which looks nice but was actually extra bland and VERY pricey. Can't believe I paid nearly 30 pounds for mediocre shakshuka and average lattes. Staff was nice though. Hence the 2 stars.

Omg you must visit. It’s was already lovely but with the refurbishment it’s simply has a wow factor! Just think of what you want and it’s there!! Seafood , Pasta , Salads, wine , coffee , cake and not just any the best! Vito the managers is a wonderful Italian character who brings the offering to a new level. Vito the superstar of Green Park

Lovely place to have lunch. We all had pasta which was very good. No booking necessary, we just walked in (5 of us) and managed to get a table without waiting. Vito and Alex were nice and attentive - thank you both very much :) A great experience.

Prime example of how rude / bad service can ruin the customer experience and prevent me from ever returning. The good: Food was tasty and well presented. Waitress was lovely, polite and helpful. A mini superstar! The bad. Food was nearly finished and no drinks had arrived. Asked a staff member with died hair tied up in a bun for help. He pointed at the bar and said "look the bar man is busy, if you'd like you can get behind the bar and help." That was the same guy who humphed when we arrived and asked if it was ok to sit at one of the free tables outside before throwing menus down Would have been 4 stars but after the above it's generous as 2 stars.

The cake is very tasty! ...sweet chantilly cream, custard, mouth melting white chocolate and aromatic fruit make a really interesting composition! My friends really enjoyed it :) I didn't have any problems with late booking. I ordered cake 3 days before my birthday party. I know that some companies need 2 weeks notice.

Every branch of cafe Concerto is beautiful. There was live music special that day and it was very nice. All food was amazing. The desserts are already scrumptious. Concerto that I will never forget. Definiyitely you should go. I have not a chance to try the afternoon tea, I'll try it next time

It looked like they had stopped serving coffee when we arrived at 7pm and we’re busy in bar / restaurant mode. But the manager was happy to accommodate our small order for coffee and cake as we were sitting outside. The fig and pistachio cake was delicious and the coffees were good too!

Well located popular Cafe close to Underground Tube station with wide variety of options on Food , bakery , desserts & hot/Cold drinks. Seating indoor & outdoor . Set Menu for Tea & Confectionery besides itemized ordering options. Coffee & teas are good, though we were quite disappointed by the doughy & creamy pistachio Pastry 🍰. Service is good , toilet facility is available. Service Charge 12.5% & VAT 5% on all items.

Seemed to be friendly staff on arrival. Stopped by for a slice & drink. All seemed to go well until my husband found a long hair in the mouthful of cake he was eating. Guess we just get lucky finding these things, though it normally happens to me. We brought it to the server's attention who advised my husband there would be a discount. When we were presented with the bill it was a 15% discount off the final amount. Not even a full refund for the offending slice. After planning on a visit to one of these outlets as we don't get out much from darkest west Wales it has certainly put us off from visiting one of these again.

Went for afternoon tea, was a lovely evening. The atmosphere, customer service, food, decor was all amazing. Their savoury food is definitely better than the sweet food in the afternoon tea package.

This was a really cute spot close to green park. The menu had a lot of great options for breakfast, cute decorations and the staff was very welcoming. Krishna was my server and he was very sweet. Recommend this spot if you're in London.

Stepping into Café Concerto feels like being embraced by a world where elegance meets culinary artistry. From the moment we entered, we were treated to an ambiance that exudes sophistication. The afternoon tea experience, in particular, stood out as an absolute highlight. Delicate pastries, finely brewed teas, and an assortment of delightful savories ensured a journey of exquisite flavors with every bite. Beyond the food, what truly amplified the experience was the attentive and friendly staff, whose dedication to service transformed our visit into an unforgettable occasion. Their unwavering warmth and professionalism resonate throughout the café, elevating every moment. For anyone in search of a memorable dining experience that blends tradition with contemporary finesse, Café Concerto is a must-visit. Each moment here is a celebration of refined taste and timeless charm

I ordered a chicken focaccia and was so good, very tasty so I was very happy with it. Also the tea and passion fruit cheesecake. The only downside was that the tea pot is really small, it should be bigger for that price.

Great location close by buckingham palace. We walked in looking for a breakfast place and we were not dissapointed! We had the eggs Benedict and green breakfast. Both were very tasty. Overall, the restaurant is a bit pricey, but in this location it makes sense. I would visit again.

I have mixed feelings about the place. I was having a business meeting and I wanted to impress future American clients. Fortnum and Meson, The Connaught and Clarige's have been fully booked for weeks so I had to improvise, and booked Caffee Concerto on Open Table Pros: -it looks very good -David was amazing -food presentation was great -good prices -great location Cons: -2 Staff did not acknowledge me at the door, they were having a discussion right next to me, they looked at me and carry on talking. The Manager had to tell them from across the room "can you serve the lady that is inform to you, she can see you" for which I am thankful to the manager. - waiter couldn't find my booking even though I showed her the confirmation email. luckily it wasn't busy - they kept forgetting to bring drinks to the table: Prosecco and in the end we did not get the 2nd drink that was included in the Afternoon tea - one scone was hard as if it was over cooked in the microwave - Jam jar had a broken seals I will probably use this place again, just not for a business meeting which is a shame because it looks very good, and it is a good alternative because the other impressive place are booked very kicky and I thought the Coffee concerto was a good alternative.

After paying respects to our late Queen, found ourselves on the steps of Cafe Concerto Green Park. A lovely impromptu afternoon tea. Enjoyed a nice selection of sandwiches, melt in the mouth scones and delicious desserts all beautifully presented. Friendly and hospitable service. Would highly recommend and look forward to our next visit very soon.

Quick and smooth service although it was their busiest time- Saturday, 3 pm, well done to the Manager, good team work! We had gift vouchers- Afternoon tea with Prosseco. No hassle at all. Food - fresh, scones- warm, cakes- delicious, Prosseco -at the right temperature. We were able to choose our table, thank you!

I've been here a few times, must admit those few times was adequate for the high price they charge. On this occasion the staff including the so call manager which is a young boy couldn't care less. I paid £23 for a seafood pasta, it doesn't look like the same as the menu. Ingredients were low standards. Tiny prawns, sandy cockles and pieces of calamari. Everything was miniature except the plate. Service was slow and scruffy. I meant the waiters shirts were hanging out, just not tidy as you would expect from a Mayfair restaurant. Brought me a wrong drink, even tried to charge me for it. Even so food was edible so didn't complain. Restaurant was not busy.

Came for breakfast, ordered a lot including processo and quite a few extras (total bill 95 pounds). When started eating toast, realized it’s not rye bread. No one warned us, when I showed in the menu and explained that I cannot eat focaccia, brought us one small glass of processo (thought there were two of us), quite arrogantly responded it was just one mistake. Very sorry we didn’t wait for a table in the Wolseley
